Man this is a short group of volleyball players 

A GROUP FULL OF HINATA AND NOYAS - lissa 

I cant even call them short when changbin is an inch taller than me- chloe 

bang chan - daichi

a dad™

both of them share a lot in common tbh

both are compassionate leaders 

they care a lot for their peers, hardworking, selfless

very soft and generally fun people to be around

also inviting and social people as well

as much as they are fun, they also know when it's time to be serious

whether you know them or not, you will always highly respect them regardless

also, i feel like bang chan would be really good as a receiver

strong, trust, responsible receiver who’s got your back 

always count on the two of them to be there for you

bonus: their muscles-

changbin - tanaka 

wants to fite everybody, will fite everybody 

the fricken difference in personalities for this boy, good lord

don't ever underestimate changbin’s height 

comes off very scary once you first meet them

once fired up, the both of them are energetic and unstoppable

boys that never give up and always support you wherever

changbin would be a good wing spiker in all honesty

you see those muscles -  perfect for spiking the ball

packed with power and an urge to win

freaking blows everyone away

a literal monster on the stage/court

but once they’re off that? 

big softies

CUDDLES EVERYWHERE 

literally if you see changbin in private, you would think he’s the youngest because of how soft and uwu he is 

tanaka and changbin are both mentally strong

he shuts up all the people who doubt him and talk shit about him in an instant

cause when he’s up on the stage, he blows them away B) 

they may look like just your average guy, but you can bet that they gives it their all and be someone you can count on

minho - tsukishima

both are fricken savages 

don't mess with either of them unless you don't want to live another day

seems like they don’t care most of the time with their stoic rbf faces

but in reality, both really do love what they do (and their friends) and try their best

one of the most level-headed people of the group

yet probably one of the most easiest people to annoy lmao

you’d think for someone who always has something teasing to say, they’d be hard to fluster 

not for these boys 

mostly the fluster comes from the surprise of their roast being roasted

you don't stan them? that's okay because we all know you will eventually

there’s a point in all of our lives we go “shit i LOVE THEM”

like their looks may deceive you to think that they’re a delicate flower 

but goddamn, do they prove you wrong 

these two have worked themselves hard to get where they are now, despite people telling that they have it easy because of their looks and talent

a lot of people overlook them because on the outside, they just see a goofy airhead and not someone who should be taken seriously

easily befriends people and a lot of people are amazed by them

ex: when idols hear felix’s voice and dance & when people see hinata perform on court

“yn-channnn, come hereee” oikawa whined from his position on the couch, arms spread wide in the air, waving frantically. the oversized sleeves of his onesies fell down to his elbows, scrunching up around his bicep. “i want my cuddles now”

“what about the food tooru” you retorted while leaning your body forward, pressing your palm against the chilly counter. you reached for the cabinets above, grasping at the multitudes of snack bags concealed behind an assortment of porcelain mugs and fine cups. why were they located in such an odd place, you had no clue other than the fact that this was most likely your boyfriend’s doing. 

just when fingers made contact with the gleaming aluminum covers, you heard hushed shuffles right behind your back. curious, you shifted your head to the right, glancing to see what had produced the peculiar noise. unfortunately, you hand slipped at the action, jerking south and off the surface. eyes widening immensely, you blindly stumbled backwards, feet crossing over each other in a hurry. just when you thought you were about steady, your toe caught a camouflaged crack in the hardwood floor, harshly hurling towards the floor.

tightly gluing your eyelids shut, you tensed up your muscles and let out a high pitched shriek, bracing for the painful impact speedily approaching.

‘how lovely, cheers to another bruise to my collectio- where the hell is floor’

returning back to reality, the first thing to hit your dazed senses was the warm embrace wrapped protectively around your figure. it was like a comforting blanket providing security under its padded fabric, making you never want to leave its clutches.

fluttering your eyes open, you glimpsed upwards, catching a pair of beaming chocolate orbs staring at you with a gaze full of affection and fondness. they were enticing, almost as if dripping with honey, lulling you further into its alluring trap. your heart raced faster, thumping deafeningly, threatening to jump out of your chest. you swore oikawa would be able to hear it if he tipped his ear a bit closer. 

“yoohoo yn-chan~”

embarrassedly jumping out of his arms with a screech, you swiftly spun around to properly face oikawa, flowers of heat blooming across the expanse of your cheeks. chuckling at your actions, the smirking male stepped in your direction, effectively cornering you against the edge of the kitchen counter, rendering you speechless under his overwhelming presence. 

lifting his slender fingers up to your face, he gently caressed them, smirk further stretching across his lips as he took note of the scorching heat under his calloused pads. “is little yn-chan embarrassed?” 

“shut up idiot” you grumpily mumbled, lowering your head, breaking out of the flustered haze. 

“ah so you are. anyways, to answer your question, i don’t think we need the food anymore, don’t you say?”

“after all, they almost harmed my yn” oikawa replied, nimble limbs departing your skin and hovering over the crinkled snack bags, forming loosely clenched fists. furrowing his eyebrows in concentration, he playfully punched the covers, muttering incoherent curses. tongue cutely peeping from his parted mouth, you couldn’t help but compare him to an energetic puppy.

giggling at oikawa’s antics, you enveloped your boyfriend in a tight hug, inhaling his consoling scent, the bunny ears of your matching onesies flopping behind you. “i love you, you know?”

stopping his act, he darted his sight towards you, corners of his eyelids creasing downwards in delight. tenderly clasping the front of your pajama hood hanging from your neck, oikawa raised it above your hair, softly setting on the crown of your head. nudging the limp bunny ears with the tip of his nose, oikawa placed a gentle kiss in between them, before bringing his lips by your earlobe.

“i love you too bunny. now, let’s go watch the alien documentaries hm?”

i was gonna do a fukurodani one first cuz @myhaikyuudump​ ‘s post triggered smth in me but i’ll probs make this into a series!

he’s been part of the school’s dance team ever since he was a freshman, which not many can do, and now since it’s his last year, the coach granted him the role as dance team captain 

he loves being captain if that means he can boast about his team that much more, plus he takes his duties pretty seriously 

is literally the type to put “aoba johsai dance team” “ajdt 2020” “dt for life” in every single one of his socials - instagram, twitter, facebook, etc. everyone needs to knows he’s on dance team

as much as he loves his team, they’re more known for and primarily train in hip hop, and he’s part of the handful that is classically trained in ballet

so when competition season rolls around, everyone would be part of the large hip hop dance category that they’re a shoo-in to win, but oikawa and a few others would have to compete in the small categories with 3-5 people in jazz, contemporary, and lyrical. which are usually extremely competitive!

so he’s over the moon to have you part of the team! not only do you blend in with the team so perfectly, he believes that you’re what the team needs to finally win in a category besides hip hop since you’re hands down so talented! 

that way, he can spend his time at nationals actually dancing and not just watching almost the entire time

out of all the members, you probably spend the most time with oikawa 

you expect just as much because you’re both the in the same dances, which is practically every dance. but you honestly do enjoy his company since you and him have a lot more in common, have a similar childhood, than the rest of the members 

oikawa used to dread summer practices and camps but you makes it so much more bearable

would drive you to and from dance practices every day 

all the time that he spends with you, he secretly lets you in on the “behind the scenes” action on being an officer and what he does all year long 

because he’s 100% sure you’ll be captain your third year as well 

is secretly anticipating the national dance pageant so you and him can win Mr. and Ms. Dance together

he’s co-captain of the entire team but he’s like the unofficial hip hop team captain because oikawa sometimes can’t handle the energy during hip hop practice and iwai just knows the counts better 

he only joined dance team because oikawa dragged him into it but he needed up really liking it by the end 

has casually danced and took some classes over summer to fill his time before auditioning and the odds were in his favor

absolutely loves the friends that he’s made through dance team and is definitely the type to still keep in touch with the alumni after they graduate

he always gets a center moment in every single hip hop dance they do through the years whether it be for competition, concerts, rallies, events - people go wild whenever he’s center!

when you did some research on the school and it’s dance program, you did some snooping on the members page and after watching countless dance videos, he’s the first one that you notice

but meeting him in person was quite intimidating the first time. it took you a couple of weeks before you could actually have a conversation with him with just the two of you

since you hang out with oikawa during dance practices and oikawa hangs out with iwaizumi, you end up hanging out with him a lot too. so you eventually ease up to him

you may be comfortable with oikawa more, but iwaizumi is the one that constantly checks up on you

all these years, he’s seen what oikawa has been through and he sees that in you. he really worries for you because he knows how exhausting it is to be a new member and constantly having to work your way up so you can eventually fill the holes once the third years leave

always takes you off campus to eat lunch or go somewhere to eat after school so you’re energized for practice later that day

he’s the first to give you his number and makes it clear that you can text or call him if you ever need anything

didn’t expect people to know him for dance team but he’s surprised he’s pretty famous around school

known for the tricks and flips that he does during all their routines 

actually has really good musicality but whenever he choreographs a piece for the group, he doesn’t know the counts 

talks so causally to the coaches as if they were friends but isn’t a kiss up 

thinks summer practices are too tiring and offers everyone to go to his place after to cool off 

strangely enough, you got along with mattsun faster than you did iwaizumi 

when the team started to learn their large hip hop routine for competition back in the summer, you were having such a hard time learning the dance because your body just wasn’t used to moving your body that way

and you didn’t want to bother iwaizumi or oikawa because you knew they’d be too busy looking after the whole team

so during the group’s free time, he would play the music over and over again and practice the dance with you, carefully going through everything section by section 

even gives you an extra key to the dance room so you can practice before school 

you can always count on him for help on any of the dances you’re in together 

yells the loudest whenever you’re on the floor / stage. even when he’s watching from the wings

always tries to make each moment of his last year fun!

joined the dance team his second year but turns out to be an awesome dancer and makes friends oddly quick

one of the few that auditioned to be part of the smaller group pieces for compeitions and got in

gets a killer turn section and always squeezes in a triple to transition into the floor during improv

despite only dancing for such a short time, agencies have come in contact with him to see if he was interested in signing under their talent agency but he always resigns because that just isn’t for him

all the third years have a solo except for him because he didn’t feel like it was fair that he wasn’t a “third year senior” and that someone else deserves it more

like you!

is amazed at how gorgeous you dance and knows you’ll be gracing the floor with your talent, getting all those gold metals, plaques, and trophies!

he might be a little jealous over you but seeing you being so passionate over the sport makes him work even harder to make himself — and the team — better

absolutely does not and cannot tolerate other people’s bullying towards you. he just doesn’t understand how or why people felt the need to be rude towards you. and have the audacity to voice it out.

one time when he caught a group of dancers from another school talk bad about you, saying nasty things that obviously weren’t true, he snuck behind their back and said in a low voice, “you know those aren’t very nice thing to say” and looks down on them until they run away scared

also deletes any hate comments on the team’s official social pages before you could read any

the very first time you perform your solo, he buys you a bouquet of flowers to give to you afterwards

and then during the end of the year dance concert, he watches you from the wings performing your solo for the last time and he starts to tear up because he’ll definitely never forget this year where he was able to watch you grow

absolutely loves watching you dance

they all joined the same year you did and they’re all slightly jealous of you because damn, how can someone be good at literally everything

it’s almost upsetting >:( but they love you too much to actually be mad

they just have such a deep appreciation for you and what you bring to the team as a whole even though they don’t show it that often

learns a lot from you

when they first watched you dance contemporary and ballet, that inspired them to practice extra after hours so they could be ready for when they have to audition for dances later on the year

the goal is that the trio will be good enough by the time their third year hits and they’ll be the ones on the floor with you performing all the small dances

ever since you guys first met at orientation, you were all attached to the hip in and outside of dance. basically on the same playing field for next three years in terms of fitting in with the team

you’re not in the same classes but you guys all study together at the library on sundays because that’s your only day off

one time, the team was at a competition the same day as your birthday and they paid the announcer to say something like, “happy birthday to our best friend, dance your heart out!” right before they played the music for your solo

and during their last year, they’ll all gather around in the wings as they watch you perform your senior solo for the last time and silently cry together because they’ll really miss you

the bright red numbers glared at him from the bedside table. taking note of the time, a small smile gracefully laid upon his mouth. deciding to go check up on you, akaashi gently set his book down on the plush white sheets and slowly stood up. he reached his hand up to his face, delicately removing the object perched upon his ears and nose. placing his glasses next to the small, yellow-lit  table lamp, he made his way over to the entrance of the bedroom a few feet away from him. resting his calloused hand on the gleaming handle of the door, akaashi was about to quietly crack it open when he heard the muffled pats of your feet climbing the stairs. 

visible confusion washed over his face at the thought of what you could be possibly doing. deciding to meet you at the top of the staircase, akaashi gingerly, yet swiftly, pushed the door open, careful to make sure no creaks emitted from the hinges. he silently approached the stairs, his feet producing a soft thump with each step he took. when he finally reached his destination, the male’s gentle gunmetal blue eyes caught your widened, surprised orbs, staring at him in utmost shock.

you immediately froze on the step you were currently on when your lover unexpectedly appeared in your line of vision. slightly jumping in surprise, you nearly fell over forwards, breaking eye contact with him. the freshly baked cupcake that laid in the palms of your hands would have made a new home on the step, if it wasn’t for you quickly catching yourself. once steady, you shuffled up the wooden stairs, creaking as you gradually made your way up. you stared at the steps as they passed by, hoping that you would not trip over them again. as you arrived at the top, you lifted your head, looking at akaashi, sheepiness written across your face. 

the attractive male gazed at you in amusement, but you could see the hint of concern concealed under his stare. the corner’s of his lips turned up as akaashi drank in the sight of you. the soft luminous glow of the brightly lit candle cast upon your face, highlighting the adoration stretched over your facial features. you looked beautiful under his view, ethereal even. as akaashi gently examined you with love filled eyes, you suddenly squeaked shyly, glancing down in timidness.

“so uh… happy birthday?”

he let out a low chuckle at your words, the corners of his eyes scrunching up in delight. at the sight, your lips jutted out in a slight pout. “akaashiii~”

“yes darling” he teased, a smirk resting upon his lips. despite his usual composed demeanor, he couldn’t help but poke fun at your supposed failure.  

“...you know what, this cupcake is now mine”

“hey now wait a minute” akaashi caught you by your waist as you spun around, with all intentions of eating the cupcake by yourself. he pulled you closer to his form, placing his lips by your ear.

“have i ever told you how much i love you” akaashi whispered into your ear.

“i'm still not giving back your cupcake-”

"Psst! y/n" you felt a poke on your side, poke poke

"What?" you answered sleepily

"Wake up" you heard him whisper

"Why? What for?" you answered still keeping your eyes shut poke poke

"Kou stop poking me and go back to sleep" you muttered exasperatedly at your boyfriend. It's still dark, you're sure it's too early to wake up. You were hoping whatever reason he may have for interrupting your sleep, it wasn't anything stupid.

"But I can't sleep" he whined

"I want ice cream" you groaned, you can already imagine the pout painting his face. His reason may not be stupid, but it is undoubtedly unreasonable. You moved to face him "You woke me up for ice cream?" you whispered at him with a bewildered expression,

"Mhm," he hummed in response,

"At 3 am?" you questioned him yet again quirking up an eyebrow. Koutaro pouted even more at you if that was even possible.

"Are you mad? forget it then" he muttered stirring his body to face the other side of the bed, back now facing you. You sighed, there it is his infamous 'emo mode'.

"Kou, no baby I'm not upset. It's just a weird hour for ice cream" you reasoned with him but he ignored you and didn't say anything and stayed put in his place.

"I'm sorry if you thought I was upset" you apologized while hugging him you heard a slight "hmph" from him as if telling you apologizing won't make any difference. Of course, it won't, the only thing that can make a difference is some deep dark chocolate ice cream. You sloppily got out of bed and started to rummage through your clothes scattered all around the room for your sweater since it's cold out. You noticed Koutaro staring at you from the bed, when he saw you staring at him he buried his face on his pillow and pretended to not care, preparing to go sleep. You clicked your tongue, it feels like you're the man in your relationship. You need to woo him so he gets out of his mode, back to his jolly self. You made your way out of the room, as you were about to reach for the door he called for you,

"y/n...where are you going?" he asked shyly Bokuto knew he wouldn't fall asleep anyway especially if you're not beside him.

"Didn't you say you want some ice cream? I'm gonna go on a convenience store run to pick up your ice cream" you told him nonchalantly pointing your thumb at the door. His eyes lit up in excitement but he didn't say anything so you continued on your way out to the car.

"Wait for me!!" he screamed to get your attention once again,

"I want to come with you," he said while looking down intertwining his calloused hands with yours. You giggled at his actions "of course, silly."

You drove in silence, even though he acted cute just now he's still visibly upset that you tried ignoring him earlier. Well, who can blame you, who goes ice cream hunting at 3 am? You arrived at the convenience store after 20 minutes of unbearable silence, But instead of getting out of the car, you both sat there waiting for one of you to finally break the ice.

"Hey—"

"Uhm—"

You both started a giggle escaped your lips "Okay you can go first and don't fight me on this one" you said while trying to halt another giggling fit.

"y/n, I'm sorry for waking you up at an ungodly hour, I'm sorry that I was selfish enough to interrupt your sleep for ice cream," he told you, regret painting his face. He was sorry for what he did. Bokuto knew it was selfish of him to only think about what he wants and he sincerely wants to apologize for it. You sighed, "I'm sorry for being rude, I should've let you down calmly" you stated, he looked at you with pleading eyes.

"Does that mean you forgive me?" he asked

"There's nothing to forgive since we were both wrong at some point" you answered him giving him a peck on his cheek.

"But wait, why are you craving ice cream at this hour? what are you, pregnant?" you jabbed at him, joking. Bokuto looked at you weird "Shouldn't that be you?" he told you while cocking his head a little.

"Yes, it is me," you grinned. His expression was confused for a moment,

"wha—" he murmured looking stunned. His face was priceless, you tugged on him "Let's go, Kou, I want some rocky road ice cream."
