Finally finished this expression study of Sassy Quokka Aziraphale I've had sitting unfinished for like a month. Inspired by this group of classic Aziraphale faces from a "What Aziraphale are you today" poll:

Caterpillar fidgets are really nice and this one is a long necklace and it's satisfying to fidget with :] it's something I can easily have on me at all times, and even though I prefer other fidgets, this is also really useful (´ω`) good to have on hand
I like fidgeting with things, being still is hell and I hate it and get unreasonably moody over it
I got this from Kaiko btw, highly recommend

this is- honest to god- peak writing material-
It isn't getting better than this folks

Seen a couple posts on the dashboard lately about writing with ADHD. So, for the ADHD and neurodivergent folks who like writing but struggle sometimes… check out StimuWrite.
You can set it to make little sounds as you type (or leave them off), and emojis pop up in the corner. You can change the background, dark and light themes, set your word goal, and it gives you a percentage and total word count at the bottom. Though it’s more meant for getting a draft written up, so it doesn’t have spell check or anything like that. You’re meant to just copy and past what you write here into Google Docs or Word or Scrivener or whatever else you use and go from there. Honestly love it when I’m struggling to get words down, though. And apparently there’s an update now for StimuWrite 2?👀
Anyways, give it a try if it looks like it may help. It’s currently name-your-own-price.

i used to be so good at writing strong, thoroughly-researched, thoroughly-edited essays.
as a kid in hs, my teacher literally came up to me, holding my 40 page essay on the intersection of the European witch hunts and capitalism/exploitation/gender roles (it was supposed to be 7 pages...whoops) and went like "this is literally a master's-degree level thesis. what are you doing?? you could literally use this as your final dissertation in a master's program, what the fuck."
NOW??? NOW?? you'd think I'd be oh so skilled. but alas. i can barely piece together two ideas. adhd skill-regression is so so real. im SOBBING

That inbetween-fixations feeling when nothing hits quite right.
You're exhausted, but brain is going crazy.
All your favourite shows were just recently re-watched and have fallen into the "not captivating enough to quiet the voices in your head" but everything else is "too stimulating or requires too much effort to watch so I can't fall asleep to it."
Too tired to read or do anything else, not tired enough to sleep.
Tossing and turning and just begging your brain to shut off. Scrolling through streaming services desperate to find something that meets the PRECISE dopamine needs to be able to fall asleep.
