Every other aspect of Jesse’s trauma makes me go oh no poor blorbo :( but his relationship w his parents and thinking ab it in the context of the series aftermath actually makes me unwell… they never even knew him they only ever saw the worst in him and now they’ve had that validated by his own actions and they’ll never know how sorry he is and that he was a good kid at heart and they didn’t imagine it and they still love him but how can they have loved him if they never even knew him and only ever saw the worst in him *flatlines*

There is now an official announcement for Let's Love, the movie Martin and others shot in Wales a few weeks ago.

Freeman co-stars as screenwriter Nigel alongside Akerman as film director Andrea, Hutcherson as her lead actor husband Jackson and Weixler as his on-screen romantic lead Jess. The quartet reunite in Wales for a 10-year anniversary fan convention of their last hit film, only to discover the hapless studio rep has booked the wrong month. Full of disappointment, and with the weekend now all to themselves, they’re given a slim consolation prize… an opportunity to pitch a sequel idea early the next week, which leaves them with just days to conjure some inspiration for a career saving follow up. In search of inspiration, they wander the Welsh countryside, unintentionally migrating back to the location of their cult historic film, where they are forced to explore their own anxieties, aspirations, agendas and fractured relationships.

Sound interesting enough, and with a lot of improvisation I am sure it will be a lot of fun. 😀
