a couple things i've noticed upon rewatch

1. galinda loved that hat enough to bring it to college with her (and then so easily gave it away to elphaba)

2. at the ozdust ballroom galinda leaves fiyero AND her wand to run away with elphaba

3. elphaba gave galinda (and fiyero) one of the flowers from the bouquet after dr. dillamond asked her to sit

which btw i think if the whole thruple thing is gonna happen it'll be elphaba and her boyfriend and her girlfriend bc (i believe) galinda is most definitely a lesbian

4. when elphaba's singing i'm not that girl she walks through leaves that go from pink flowers to blue flowers, which i thought was a nice touch

5. "i don't even think he's perfect anymore and i still want him" and then immediately chases elphie (girl you want him not bc he's popular anymore but bc elphaba wanted him LMAOO)

also another thing i really love is both idina menzel and cynthia erivo played girl kissers on broadway before playing elphie (idina as maureen in rent and cynthia as celie in the colour purple)

Musicals are time loops. Every night, the same thing happens except for a few minor differences. It always ends the same. If you want the characters to do something different or to make better choices, too bad. The actors are bound by the script and the score. The only way for the time loop to end is for the show to close. But you (the audience) don't want the show to close, nor do the actors who would like to be employed. It's a lose/lose situation. For the actors, audience, technicians, and for the characters, who are forever stuck in the same stretch of time.
