Can we PLEASE talk about how dirty Adam was done in Mighty Ducks D3??? Guys 😭

so first of all- he made varsity, but because everyone else (mainly Charlie) was too teenage-angst-everything-sucks core, he didn’t even get a pat on the back or anything. Like it’s mad impressive that he made varsity, as a freshman, first day of school. But no one really congratulated him 😭

THEN- the whole prank wars thing they had going on, varsity vs. JV. The ducks did not regard him one bit and just let him get caught in the crossfire- even targeting him a little bit with the whole frozen-jackets thing. “He’s one of them now, isn’t he?” NOT REALLY GIRL-

in fact he was literally cheering them on for a while during their first game

And then it was made pretty clear he had little to nothing to do with the things varsity did to the ducks, and he even told Charlie straight up he had no idea they were planning that stunt at dinner until it was too late. (Charlie didn’t even care either bro he just called him a little preppy rich boy and let him skate away) (Charlie was rlly going through it in D3) (partially in the form of self sabotage but wtv)(oh and then he literally shoved Adam into the goal during that game so that’s silly)

AND THEN- after there was that whole “self realization” thing with Charlie and Bombay, where Bombay got all the ducks together to play street hockey- suddenly they’re all cool with Adam again?? Like he’s casually playing with them- not even a cliché “head nod of understanding” moment between Adam and Charlie?? They just move on?? No apology even???

to make matters worse- when they’re at the council meeting and the ducks’ scholarships are up for discussion, the varsity team is fully willing to throw Adam out with the rest of them, even though they basically inducted him into their team for a few weeks? I mean I know they probably don’t have some deep brotherly connection with him or anything, but damn he was disregarded by both the ducks and varsity 😭 . Though there are a few times when they mention his worth and stuff- such as later after the council meeting when Charlie says “you had one of us: Banksie” but then Rick literally is like “meh he didn’t have spirit anyways it’s wtv” like hello??

then he just moves back to jv/the ducks at the end and everything is back to normal again and dean comes back and they win or smt so um happily ever after??? Ig?? Idk I still think he deserved some kind of apology.

As the official Team USA goalie, you were prepared for anything that comes your way. What you didn't anticipate was that some of the players from the Netherlands team were angry assholes.

It was the end of the 2nd period, and you guys were up 2-1. What you didn't know was that one of the wingers for the other team was pissed off at you for blocking his shot in the first period since he could have tied up the score. There's 6 seconds on the clock, and the winger has the puck. He skates down to the goal to shoot, and unfortunately for you, defense, nobody on defense was able to keep him from shooting. You drop to your knees so that you block the puck right as the buzzer sounds. You stand up to see you blocked to puck perfectly, as it was still on the red line, mere centimeters from making a goal.

You raise your hands in triumph, knowing you blocked yet another goal. Your victory is shortlived though, as the guy from the other team skates right up to you, yelling as he pushes your shoulders in anger, causing you to stumble backwards and hit your head on your goalie posts.

Guy - who was already on his way over to you to congratulate you - speeds up and grabs the boy from the shoulder, berating him before turning his attention to you, making sure you were okay.

"Are you okay?" He questioned, immediately taking off your helmet to assess the damage.

"Yeah, I'm okay. It didn't hurt too bad, I'm just a bit lightheaded," you reply, moving your hand to the back of your head.

"That guy is a total jerk," He mumbles, helping you up so you can return back to the bench. "Looks like the ref is talking to him now."

You look behind Guy, and as he said, the ref is scolding the winger from the other team. "Good, he deserves it," you grin, finding the situation amusing.

"You sure you're okay?" He asks again, this time with a hint of sarcasm in his voice.

"Ha-Ha," you sneer, rolling your eyes at him, as he helps you onto the bench where the rest of the Ducks are waiting.

He gives you a cheesy smile that makes your stomach turn, and he sits next to you, handing you your water bottle, placing both your helmets on the floor.

"Drink some water, hopefully it'll help your head since you hit it so hard falling for me," He wiggles his eyebrows at you as Dean and Fulton 'ooooh' behind the two of you.

"You're such a freak," you laugh, drinking your water. "And let's not forget who asked who out."

Guy laughs as his entire face and ears turn a shade of baby pink. "Yeah yeah whatever," He grins as he leans in to give you a kiss, that leaves Dean and Fulton gagging behind you two.

if he’s explained something a few times and they still don’t get it he’ll just try it a different way until they get it and work them through the problem

has rlly strong relationships with the 9th and 10th graders cause of this and is essentially their older brother figure

The crisp Minnesota air greeted you as you stepped off the plane, the familiar chill seeping through your jacket. You hadn't been back in a few years—not since the last time you visited your uncle, Gordon Bombay, and spent a whirlwind of a summer reconnecting with your figure skating roots. That summer, you’d found yourself skating in the same rink as the Ducks, and more specifically, spending a lot of time with Guy Germaine. You smiled at the memory. You were both so young, so caught up in the thrill of something new.

Now, as you made your way through the terminal, the past few years felt like a blur. You’d been on the rise in the figure skating world, traveling, competing, and living a life that, on the surface, seemed perfect. But behind the flawless spins and jumps, there was a heart that had just been through a breakup. The last thing you needed was to fall for someone else—but you couldn’t help but think of Guy.

You were supposed to meet him later today. Gordon had arranged for Guy to pick you up and bring you to the rink for a bit of skating before you caught up with your uncle. The thought of seeing him again made your heart race. How much had he changed? How much had you changed?

He took you to all his favorite spots in the city, places you’d never been, and places you’d visited together as teenagers.
