When ppl will create a "curvy" girl character and get pretty much the whole body's proportions right, obviously they're putting emphasis on bust/hips but it seems like it's being executed well--- except that they completely, fully, and deliberately, skip the stomach entirely. I've missed drawing, maaaan.... You have no idea. So I drew this. I drew it sketchy as hell because I know myself. If I tried to be all ambitious and make it fully rendered and edited as close to perfection as I can get it, then I wouldn't ever stop. I'd push aside presentations and crap I literally have to get done by the 3rd to do it, so this is actually a sign of me being responsible. (Ya know, other than me being like. Kinda irresponsible anyway by drawing a literal crap post other than working on said presentations, but aNYWAY-)

Why did I draw this?? I don't know. It came to me in the night. I snorted at my own freaking joke and thought it would be even more hilarious if I drew it instead of just typing it out as a crap post.

Maybe, if he were a bit more naive- or perhaps if the connection wasn't so terrible (it shouldn't ever be this terrible, even in the worst of surface conditions)- 9S would have been able to dismiss this area as a particularly well-preserved area of ancient human activity or something of that sort, one that he wasn't familiar with. Unfortunately, with every bit of information he's gathered, that's definitely not the case. And given this information, maybe- just maybe, mind you- straying from 2B's side was a questionable decision.

Then again, while he's not made for combat, it's not like he's completely helpless, and 2B can more than handle herself. They can somewhat contact each other, too. And besides- spreading out to get a better assessment of the terrain is potentially useful.

Or maybe he just wants to take the time to look at things, and investigate them, and gather all the data he can on whatever seems interesting without looking like he's slacking off.

Either way, though, 9S's little expedition leads him to the docks. The river here's very large, he notes, vaguely wondering if there's any fish in there. Maybe 2B'd like to give that a look. But he wanders along, the final notes of what he can only assume to be a song catches his attention.

He knows what music is. There is some music in the database, and even if they hadn't existed, he's seen birds. He's even met machines who may have been singing. But that's a weird ground, given their tinny, often monotone voices.

Still, this- this is different. Those few notes feel… fluid. Soothing, maybe, even though he hadn't heard the full performance. It's more than enough to whet his curiosity, of course, and after making an assessment of where the sound came from, he cautiously crept towards the location of the source. And soon enough, he's greeted by the sight of… um… someone. Whoever this is doesn't appear to be armed, though that's not necessarily an indication of strength if it does blow up into a fight. He's not here to land the first hit, though, so hopefully, it won't come to that.

Besides- this could be an opportunity to learn something. He's not sure what yet, but it may very well be.

Played LADS just for the character customization so dont mind if the boys r kind OOC ok also heres my mc her name is Silvian Kriodojeoxks

(yes shes related to my commandant, thats uhm uhhh quick lore drop i made up: so eksval is actually her great great great great grandfather, i made it rly long cuz ofc society needs time to recover from the uh yk yk but yeah anyways- thats not part of the main lore just side story hahaha)

And of course she got that signature Kriodojeoxks look of having one eye paler than the other (Eksval coincidentally adopted a kid that had the same happening so it kind of just passed down as a mark)

Anyways not gonna elaborate too much on this so lets get to the stories

Sylus usually kept up with Silvian's companion work, however.. today was a little too much for him.

He limped over to the couch and practically collapsed on it, tiredly closing his eyes as he tried to even out his breathing.

He could hear the door clicking open and closing, the soft and quiet footsteps as Silvian approached him, perhaps to check on him.

After a few moments, Silvian seemed to be walking away. Begrudgingly, Sylus opened his eyes and looked to see Silvian attempting to leave. Without informing him.

"Where are you going?" He asked in a somewhat annoyed and at the same time somewhat weary voice.

Silvian paused in her move, having not even touched the doorknob yet but enough was seen to see that she was trying to leave, again, after they had just done a mission.

She glanced back at Sylus and said, "Gonna go and hang out with Tara for a while. Rest up, 'kay?"

Sylus frowned and, despite his body aching, pushed himself up and slowly went over to Silvian. He reached out and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her into an embrace as he pressed his face into the crook of her neck.

'You had just returned, how do you still have energy to hang out? You should rest too.'

Of course, those weren't Sylus' exact thoughts. He couldn't even form a thought right now, infact, so it was more just a feeling.

After much convincing and finally putting Sylus to sleep (Silvian carried him to bed, she did not have the heart to see Sylus sleep on a chair), Silvian could finally breathe a sigh of relief and get some left over work done with.

She left the place and accepted another mission- solo, of course. But Sylus or the others did not need to know that.

Actually, she might be a bit of a workaholic. Just a little bit. But! With work comes rewards, a specific reward so to speak, which is why she's doing this in the first place.

Of course, fighting wanderers alone might be a little.. stupid, on her part, but shes been doing this for a while now and she hasn't come across any issues so far.

After finishing what was the 3rd solo mission that day, she went back home happy and accompanied by the spirit of a hero.
