An exorcism? In my family-friendly Deltarune? It's more likely than you may think. The backgrounds here were very interesting! Much more complex than how I usually do them (especially that computer).

I feel like I've seen most of what interests me in FiMFiction for the time being, so I read through some good ol' reliable Stardew Valley fanfics last night, only to realize.

Haley x Female Farmer is basically Rarijack. Rarijack adjacent.

#personal #delete later #not art #unfortunate that i'm really not into the BIG popular ships in stardew #like. i downloaded talkohlooey's character sprites for my sdv because the men just look so much better #with talkohlooey sebastian actually looks like a cute guy i'd wanna date. default seb looks like a very very specific white boy.#like. the mod of an anime community discord server.#he looks like every white anime fan i knew in high school who very intentionally tried to look and dress more asian #so unfortunately i'm not really into any of the male bachelors. They are All White.#I went after Alex at first but he's a white bread jock.#So I'm really not interested in ships with Shane or Elliot or Sebastian which make up 2/3 of the romance fics #I do think Harvey is cute he has a lot of personality and he's a sweetheart #stardew expanded has victor AND olivia which is such a fucking win. Asians fuck yeah #I usually pursue Penny. Fluttershy vibes lmao #hopefully chocolatier has some dateable men who Aren't White.#Really can't recommend Talkohlooey's sprites more. Fantastic art style AND character design direction to boot. oh boy !! ! ! ! !!! ! thANK y0u all for the kind words on my last art posts. you all get it and i was/still am so happy about it

as promised, here's some close-ups of the comic for image quality's sake, and other screenshots i rescued from the community whiteboard (and something else)

first up another sketch of mystery gender-ambiguous being. (please send me more name ideas for them if you got one- i like to hear em! (reminder it's the side character that appeared for <10 seconds in AvM Ep. 30))

even when i wasn't confident in fur or feathers, they helped me practice posing and create some satisfying gradients/flowing poses. (im a sucker for good tail poses) (oh yay! i found a good pic...)

i realized that whiteboardfox is pretty great for my working needs. simple and to the point and all. feels nice with the mouse and the tablet.

This part focuses on Quincey in particular instead of everyone, "Quincey raised his eyebrows slightly and looked at her intently", and I wonder if it connects with what he had said before: "And I promise you, too, that I shall make all certain, for if I am only doubtful I shall take it that the time has come!" Because Quincey is the one who always clocks on the situation at hand first, and patrols for threats (and if he spots one he shoots first asks questions later)

He does clock things very fast and takes action just as quickly. When he's facing the right way.

But in this scene, our favorite Texan isn't looking the right way or even reacting safely as much as he is quick about it. Even if his reaction was entirely innocent surprise, the fact that he made clear how ready he was to serve Mina's euthanasia request--seemingly with more readiness than even Dr. Jack Malpractice who must 'steel' himself to the idea--has absolutely stuck in Jonathan's mind.

Hence Jonathan death gripping the kukri as Quincey gets (to his eyes) the wrong kind of interested.

The whole story could have gone very nasty very fast if Mr. 'You've yeed your last haw' Morris had made a wrong move at that moment.
