I will make no excuses. This is the biggest example of self indulgent art ive done since my birthday last year. I have no fucking clue what au this is. I jsut wanted to draw Sabo as a sheep, Ace as slutty and greasy as i could with him still being hot in my eyes, and luffy with adorable little bear ears. Also that shading on luffy’s pic was really fun to make.

I had a physical reaction to drawing the little animals. Theyre. Everything. To me.

Why luffy is bear- bears are so food motivated i love them.

Why sabo is sheep- rebelling against fate’s design, breaking from herd mentality, etc etc

Why ace is coyote- it’s really funny how people keep thinking theyre cats or dogs and take them in but theyre just feral creatures. Very similar to Ace me thinks.

I wanted to make luffy and ace typical predators of sheep. Something something them born to destroy the system of all that has ever been (harking back to that herd mentality) something something also breaking that promise too to be brothers with someone from that system

Jeanz relaxed as she felt Phoenix doing her hair, closing her eyes and enjoying the moment, the subtle intimacy of the feeling. There wasn't a need to talk, just a comfortable silence between the two.

When the braid was done, she let out a soft giggle at the kiss to her shoulder, leaning back into Phoenix's arms, her chest feeling full and warm. "A massage sounds great," she responded softly, tilting her head to look at him, "What do ye charge then?"

Phoenix laid next to Jeanz, sweat dripping down his face as he looked at the woman next to him. She had somehow managed to convince him to lay down with her, even though his first instinct was to run away. It was something he had gotten used to. The second he was done, he was supposed to get the money and report back to Graves. No strings attached.

But with Jeanz, there was no cash to get, not Graves to report back to. Just him and her lying together in her bed.

“Do you need anything?” He asked gently, kissing her forehead. The movement was a little stiff, his mind still trying to get used to staying, but he would relax soon enough. He had a list of what he would do to make sure she was comfortable, but it could wait for right now. What Jeanz needed came first.

Jeanz was still trying to catch her breath, her body covered in a light sheen of sweat, her chest heaving a bit. She could feel how tense Phoenix was and started to absentmindedly drawing random patterns on his chest, just enjoying the moment and trying to ease some of the tension from him.

She could guess why he was so tense, her mind flashing back to that night on the roof, what they had revealed to each other. Jeanz wished there was something more she could do, but she did what she could do to soothe Phoenix, let him know that he didn't have to run away.

"Not righ' now, mo ghrá," Jeanz said softly, "Just want ta cuddle wit' ye for a bit." She turned her head, giving him a soft, affectionate kiss to his cheek, hoping to convey the words she couldn't say.
