Terror from the Deep

6. After Jin is taken by burnish and company we see how once again he wants to make sure himself yi and peng can get home safely and asks them if they can do that and reminder he doesn't really have to make sure yi is safe only really his cousin (at this point in the movie we can tell he actually likes Everest too like yi and peng but he gets swayed into seeing Everest as a monster lowkey because he kidnapped yi as I mentioned in part one) but then he finds out that the actual villan is planning on getting Everest but also hurt yi and peng if they really have to which leads to my next point.

7. Okay so here's were it honestly more about the character development of Jin but something about the montage were we see him give up his phone and allow himself to get dirty without complaining which up till this point in the movie he was more uptight and egotistical with only hints of his true nature of being really caring but why I'm bring this up is because to me(I think yi really made him realize why they should be helping Everest and he doesn't admit/hint at this till the most real proof in the movie along with the ending of the movie which I think is really Senifacant when I talk about the series and it's proof)

8. Finally the main four all are together again while escaping from "burnish and company" though nothing here is hard proof of Jin's possible feeling for yi (I think this is were I got some of the most married couple vibes or fling in the movie at least and honestly their so funny and cute like in these gifs because they would just finish each other's sentences Jin is doing so here but early on in the film yi finished Jin's in the blueberry scene I wanted to add more gifs but tumbler only allows 10 so I making sure that I can use them up properly)

9. After they escape this is when yi violen is broken which means alot for her since her dad also played and he passed away so since Jin knows the situation the best and know her since childhood he goes to talk to her in which he apologizes for what the said during their fight which I mentioned in the first post and yi tries to apologize back but then Jin makes a joke about he is in fact the worst and she was right causing her to smile after all that he and yi head back to (were peng and Everest was and we see that Everest fixed her violen with the strings being his magic fur )overall I love this moment be we really get to see how much he cares for yi through him and not someone else and how this is such a big character moment for yi (even just based of his expressions and body language you'd be able to tell how much he cares about her TELL ME THAT LAST LOOK ISN'T ONE OF LOVE LIKE COME ON!!!!!)

After this they continue on their adventure and then they figure out that with Everest fur as the strings of yi's violen are actually magic (ok but I loved the looks that Jin gave the whole time even before they started noticing the magic because its the type of looks I see/give when you'd have a crush on someone but idk I might be stretching on this one) anyways Jin afterwards goes up and gives her a flower and says : " we're so going to the Himalayas " which is contrasting what he would say at the being it the movie when he does this you can tell yi is confused by all the things that are going on but also and her greif is starting to heal that's why I think that momment lingers for a bit then moving on (also I have a whole thing about the flower he gave here because for one it actually probably relates to yi's greif but even Jin's possible feelings for yi which will be it's own post)

After the last 10 points their isn't really much showing proof of Jin's feeling since that's the climax of the film and any tiny moment the movie gave us we already figured out in the first couple of points I made or can be adressed in a future post of mine (honestly the climax is when there's like a tiny bit of proof that yi could also have feelings but I see more signs from her in the series which I'll probably talk about after my flower post and more moments from the film that I didn't post but I thought are Senifacant or cute/credits and even official books + concept art ) but here's a cute moment I love them so much

my headcanoned and therefore 'canon' reason: its twofold, firstly bount are infused with the remnants of mod souls that were made to partly resemble quincy, and secondly + more importantly, bount souls are all infused with power from fragments of the soul king (bount aren't inherently born with fragments ofc but soul king fragments are the core of the jokaisho and their energy was responsible for birthing the original bount), power that was more from the soul king's ''quincy'' aspects. ergo, bount abilities, their forms of spell-casting, the chants they use to summon their dolls, and many of their tribe's other terms etc etc, all have that heavy german motif because they are in a sense, in spite of the similarities they might also share with shinigami or fullbringers, ultimately cut from the same cloth that quincy are, only someone really fucked up when they were doing that cutting.

A smile crept on your face and laughter poured out of you. Jay looked shocked, taking a step back as you looked at him, dollar signs in your eyes.

The box Vasco handed you was heavy. You weren't sure what to expect from him. He had the biggest smile on his face, fists clenched shaking in front of him, waiting for you to open it.

You were getting nervous. You place the box down on a nearby table. Looking up, you see Jace peeking out from around the corner, biting his nails. You were scared now. Jace hadn't had a chance to screen the gift before it reached you. 

Carefully pulling the lid off the box, you stared at the gift in shock. Your lips pressed together, forming a thin line and your eyes narrowed. A blank expression made its way on your face before you finally let out a sigh.

“So...what do you think?” The excitement was still in his voice. Pulling out the gift you held it up and examined it before speaking.

Your once gorgeous hair now looked like a lawn mower ran over it. Some sections were cut down to the roots, while the other, longer sections, stuck out like spikes. You couldn't speak, breaking down on the inside at what this man did to your hair.

“Do you like it? I went for a look that reminded me of you” He truly didn't see anything wrong with it!

“Do I remind you of roadkill?”

oof that's a really good morally grey pwp idea... if darkwick tells mc her curse cannot be lifted but can be passed on to a child -> the new cure is for her to be impregnated by a ghoul (better chance of whatever makes them ghouls overpowering whatever makes mc cursed), give birth to that child and for darkwick to kill the newborn immediately... but to prevent any of the ghouls from forming a real attachment to the fetus and somehow busting into the delivery room to save it, they can't know who the father is -> cue a multichapter pwp fic (with the exception of rui)...

Poor Rui this might be enough to make him actually lose it, can you imagine being someone whose main character trait is being a whore, but being denied your godgiven right join the school sanctioned gangbang? I also like how you excluded Rui but not Zenji because that would make it even worse... the ghost gets to hit it but he doesn't? ED GETS TO HIT IT BUT NOT HIM?!?!?!!!!

I was thinking about smut when I typed that of course but I didn't really spend a lot of time thinking about the plot because I was too busy inventing new ethical questions. Would Taiga want to eat the baby? It is technically part anomaly... he doesn't want to eat Ed or Lyca so I would guess not but still. What about guys like Romeo, Ritsu, or Jin? Would they even agree to participate in something like this given how important children are to rich fussy families would they see making one like this extra wrong? Or would the horny kick in and they not want to allow the chance for MC's baby to be anyone other than theirs? Oh and on Ritsu, I feel like he'd be making a bunch of weird legal arguments trying to justify wanting to get the mc pregnant. He's just repressed, the arguments don't matter, but would he then try to make a bunch of arguments to keep the baby alive? Is there a legal standard of personhood in Japan and do I even want to research that-

Speaking of personhood, Lyca, Ed, and Zenji. I feel like Lyca wouldn't be able to let go of the idea of MC as his mate and that child as his baby. He wants to live with humans and be human, part of that seems to be him wanting a real family so if he was the baby daddy this would just be extra cruel. His instinct and desire is to love and protect, and even if he didn't have that he knows what Darkwick is like. Danger or not he doesn't want them killing you or the baby. Ed probably just wouldn't see what the problem is. Yes, his baby is an abomination from hell part vampire part Kyklos (so little human he doesn't need to mention that). No, he will not be letting Darkwick kill them and yes he will know if the baby is his, he has a sixth sense for these sorts of things. Now now don't cry, he might be an old man but he's not above taking responsibility, Japan was getting boring anyway. He can drop you off in whatever hole he crawled out of to can rest and recover while he watches the baby and shows them man made horrors beyond their comprehension (conspiracy youtube videos). I brought up Zenji just because the image of MC wanting to get dicked down by a ghost and conducting a dark ritual to let him do it. Also idk Zenji feels like another extra tragic because he also is someone who values family so I don't think he would want to see his child die, but also if it could save MC he'd really want to try and help.

Yuri would be very smug about this being a solution, volunteer to help, realize that everyone thinks he wants to fuck the MC, and then pass out from screaming denial and the mental image of her bare neck. I feel like he'd be one of the "worse" choices in Darkwick's mind because he would probably want to keep the baby to experiment on, but be completely unable to see them as anything other than his child and devolve into the same desperate search to cure them as he was on with MC. And he expects child support! He will not be a single father, MC get back here and take some responsibility for your actions!!! Jiro also feels like someone who would volunteer not realizing the method he was volunteering for but unlike Yuri he just rolls with it. He's so unashamed of nudity, yours or his, and what is sex if not nudity with some extra steps-

(My mind more went towards artificial insemination, so Rui wouldn't be excluded from the pool and there was no chance for the ghouls to form an emotional connection to either the MC or their potential baby. Oh I also don't think Darkwick would tell MC or the dad that the kid is going to be killed. They would probably lie about it and act like the child would be fine, just maybe an anomaly they would need to keep an eye on. Ouyang Zizhen: That child will probably get kidnapped one day, lured by a piece of cake. Can't boil water.

Jiang Fengmian: Actually knows his way around the kitchen.

Yu ZiYuan: Can toast bread and slather jam on it. That's pretty much it.

Lan Qiren: Excuse me? Why cook yourself when you can pay someone else to do it?

Wei ChangZe: King of barbecue. Has a secret spice mix that he hides from everyone.

Cangse Sanren: Can't believe she's saying this, but actually agrees with goatee Lan.

Wen Qing: Coffee connoisseur. Hasn't bothered to explore the rest of the food pyramid.
