Wade considers his small gang of friends his family. He went through a lot of shit alongside them, alongside people for whom he is ready to literally sacrifice himself and the whole universe. They're his loved ones, someone he cares about.

In the end of the movie, after all this stuff with saving the universe, Wade invites Logan to his apartment. He introduces him to his friends, which means that from that point he considers Logan a part of his family — once again, someone he cares about.
