taliesin jaffe was so real for making a weirdo little homeschooled neurodivergent 24 yr old (he said on Talks that cad is the equivalent to abt 24ish), who is scared to leave home after being so isolated there, spends time in the real world and after panicking makes friends and then learns how big all of it is and how loud and how too much all of it is but cant go back home because if he goes home he wont want to leave again but he needs to but he cant and hes scared and he cant tell his mum hes upset but he can maybe tell his sister, maybe! just a little bit .and he does go home eventually and waits until hes more ok to start going on like nice hikes with his sister. most 24 yr old character to ever happen

The show really hits you with the fact that Annabeth is the head counselor for the Athena cabin. Like, obviously she’s been there for a long time, but none of her older siblings are more fit for the job? How many others who are more experienced and older have already ventured off on deadly quests, never to return? Just how much death and tragedy has this girl witnessed at camp?

This spreadsheet is a masterlist for the original Young Justice team: It includes reading orders for all of the characters individually as well as as a team, showing all of their appearances in main DC continuity preceding the Flashpoint reboot (1986 - 2011).

Right now Cassie and Bart’s lists are still being worked on, but Tim’s, Kon’s, Cissie’s, Greta’s and Anita’s are completed.

I keep seeing this fanart going around about how the respective Robin's teammates reacted to Batman making contingency plans. No hate the artist obviously and I love fandom. but if you want to know how it really went down this post is for you. 👇

Tim Drake was the Robin during this time, so it's just Young Justice, I'm not sure if or how the Titans reacted cus I haven't read them yet. Also to note, these are from a time in comics where Lex Luther was President of the USA and Young Justice was fighting in a intergalactic war as basically being medics.

Tim DOES NOT HAVE FILES ON THEM! He says himself, cus they're his FRIENDS not associates. Over all a running theme for Tim is him NOT being like Batman, so he trusts his friends.

Now on my opinion yeah friendship and all but I agree with Anita. How many superheros have been mind controlled, cloned, infected with a mind altering substance, doesn't it help to have a plan for that? You SHOULD have a plan for this! Better to be prepared and never need it then to need it and never planed.

thinking about young wukong cherishing macaque - his first friend, his first willing subject/warrior from outside the mountain, the only other one of his "kind" - the way one coveted a treasure. Held him dear, held him close, put him on the softest cushions, draped him in the finest silk, dressed him up with the best garments the world could offer, fed him immortal peaches and wine that nations would go to war for a single sip. Macaque got a share in all the earthly and heavenly pleasures wukong could get his hands on, without lifting a finger if he didn't feel like it (he always felt like it, what's a warrior without a king to serve? but that's for another post). And yet wukong also guarded macaque the way one coveted a treasure - in which the best seals and wards were of ignorance. Held him dear, held him close, so close that for thousands of years the world knew far and wide of the Monkey King's exploits but nothing about the existence of his counterpart. No one could steal from him a thing they didn't know he had. Kept him always in wukong's shadows so the greeds of the world could never touch what's firmly his, so no other light apart from the Monkey King's could shine on his warrior.

The realms only learned of the Six Eared Macaque the day he was lost to the living by his king's own carelessness, and no amount of mourning or picking up the pieces could bring him back to wukong's trembling, remorseful hands.

i just watched geek girl on netflix! i have some... criticism... but i actually really enjoyed it! very cute and has similar vibes to like angus, thongs and perfect snogging/bend it like beckham (which side note: both great movies directed by the same woman) but yeah! has the vibes of a 2000s british movie - combined with the under-rated use of a teen girl voice over!
