I want control 2 to have even more documents and more reading
#nothing beats the sheer joy of finding a document hidden somewhere in the first game#I’m trying to 100% the game currently and i love collecting all the weird records and correspondence#it makes the world incredibly rich and immersive#control 2019#control remedy#something i really love about all the records is starting to recognize the characters who wrote them#learning more about dr darling or pope or kiran by seeing their voice in the docs#unbelievably excited for control 2 bc they can build off of established characters#control 1 barely explored their cast (fair enough with such a great original world)#but now they can build on that AND have a great enviornment

Realism is fun till it isn’t and I realize I’ve already committed too far and can’t just scrap it but I know it will take me too long so here are some sacrifices you may see finished later on
#dragon#myart#creature#I still generally have inspiration for the first one so that one will probably get finished first#I really like watching the speedpaints procreate automatically records even though it’s crunchy and has a weird green tint#specifically on realism because it’s wild for anything else and is actually psychotic#Mostly because I just suddenly start experimenting with brushes and start turning layers off and on for a good chunk of it#I use 3 layers usually for realism#One for the actual drawing one for the sketch and one for a base color#It makes it better I think because it’s more similar to actual painting or something#That might not be the reason I dont really know#It’s just better I do it that way#Maybe because I can’t get distracted and lost?#Realism is also a great source of learning for me#Even if i never really finish stuff like this#I might this time though who knows#Sorry for leaving you guys stranded I’m chasing a really big train across the country#My priorities are with locomotives#“You guys” (I say to my very few followers 🤑🤑 (that probably followed me in the first place for dragon adventures stuff))#I do what I want and what I want is not dragon adventures right now#Right now I want locomotive#I’m not hijacking that train it sounds like I’m going to hijack that train#however#i would appreciate owning a big train I feel like I would enjoy that#Side note how do my DA followers feel about the genetic traits in the event eggs making motorouk w/ the error trait worth like 100mil#I feel ill when I can recite all of the full species names from memory#It does make sense though I’ve been playing since the first event in 2019#I’m committed what can I say#Almost forgot a tag oops#art

me six months ago when my therapist of 2 years said a schizoaffective diagnosis would be more appropriate than a bipolar diagnosis:
me currently, as i experience gradually worsening psychotic episodes without any mood shifts:
#the kicker is that. the first ever therapist i had back in 2019 theorized i was schizophrenic#like she . said . hey girl. i think youre schizo or bipolar#& back then we all thought it was the pot i was smokin#so it was diagnosed as bipolar ii#2020 rolls around & Oh Boy . get hospitalized in early jan 2021#bipolar i with psychotic features <- new diagnosis#but again . we thought it was the pot i was smoking#quit the pot . i start seein my then therapist#shes great i stick with her for 2 years . dont have any drastic mood shifts except depression#no mania . she thinks the depression is enviornmental based (turns out to be true)#however . she notices that . the Anxious Thought Patterns are . well . ocd#which is what the hospital staff had said#however . she also began to see that . they were psychotic#so . she told me toward the end that schizoaffective would be more fitting#well . im out of the bad enviornment i dont smoke pot anymore and yet . i am still losing my mind#she may have been . correct

The Krasnaya ploshchad! Kinda wish they'd had the time to explain the meaning behind the name.
It means "red square". This is not because the building's bricks are red, but because in Russian the words "red" and "beautiful" come from the same root, and this is considered the most beautiful square in Russia.
The Krasnaya ploshchad was actually featured in the 2001 game Treasures of knowledge, along with this very explanation!
#funny thing is i started playing tok. got to the beginning of the second mission ie in russia. PROBABLY got that explanation#didn't remember it one bit apparently#then later read a great book about the history of the color red in europe and it talked about the krasnaya ploshchad#immediately drew some tok julethief around that idea#and THEN months later when i replayed tok again i got whiplash bc! there was this explanation i had completely forgotten about!#i love this game. anyway.#carmen sandiego 2019#csweekly
