Say what you will about the rise and fall of Young Justice but they really did pop off with their iteration of Batman.

They did right by my man Bruce Wayne—he was seriously not to be fucked with.

Like, the third season really did me in. This bitch had plans with plans, was willing to absolutely verbally annihilate the League at the drop of a hat, and pretty much told everyone to kiss his ass while he fucked off to save the world with nothing but his team of former protégés and his own goddamn brain power.

And you know what? It. Fucking. Worked. (Basically.)

Because he’s Batman.

He was brilliant to watch in the first season—he was an excellent mentor, a total badass in the field, and he was a good father figure to Robin. (He was actually surprisingly gentle with him, like he wanted to guide Robin instead of boss him around, which I really appreciated).

Such a king. Rest in peace Young Justice Batman.

I remember watching Young Justice as a kid and I will forever stand by the fact that the best thing about the show was just the ongoing gag about Dick messing with the English language like the overwhelmed underwhelmed whelmed thing or the get traught stuff, because it made me giggle so much as a kid but ALSO it’s such a thing Dick Grayson would do, especially Robin age Dick who’s probably still getting used to constantly using English and has probably genuinely had those thoughts at points.

I kinda wish that Bruce adopted Conner from the young justice tv show.

Half of Connors problems are because he had no one teach him emotional maturity and because he had no adult in his corner in an new and scary situation.

Sure, he had his friends, but most of them left and the one person that was always there was in love with the idea of him.

Like people look at him and think 'why are you acting like that? Shouldn't you know better?' To the guy with the live experience of a week old child.

Feeling emotions can be scary for someone who always had them and didn't just 'snap' into reality like him. Reacting in anger is something most kids do when they are overwhelmed.

(Just to make things clear. Emotional Maturity does not equal intelligence and bodily maturity)

Anyway. I choose Bruce because he is the one most likely to understand the Situation.

Because as hard as it sounds, Conner would be considered a child created from Rape and expecting Clark to take care of him would be cruel on both of them.

Anyway, Bruce parenting Conner would also be fun, simply because of Dick.

Like he'd absolutely expect his friend to call him big brother. It doesn't matter that he is a few heads bigger than him and build like a brick wall. The worst thing is that Conner would call him that after a few weeks. Most likely after dick nearly got hurt on a mission.

Conner as batfam member makes me happy in a way.

SO. I WATCHED YOUNG JUSTICE. Red Hooded Ninja I need you so bad...... did some more scribbling to cope o(-( Very upset that they did not further elaborate on him / Jason Todd before cancelling the show?? At least. that's what I read everywhere. I'm late to the party as always.. ,,,give me a Nightwing arc including Jason please please please I love his total of 3 minutes of screentime on there, I am so starved I still have hope

I’ve been thinking about how every time jason is mentioned in young justice tv show it’s in such a sense of reverence and grief. team members young and old talk about him as someone taken from them, as someone they miss and are angry is gone. his memorial was in the cave and the watchtower. i feel like so much of the time jason’s death feels isolated like it’s in this bat echo chamber idk it just makes me happy that he was a real, valued part of this team (even tho ppl have dif thoughts about the show which i respect). just like... they loved him. they loved him a lot.

also even more of a reason to bring him tf back.

In the first episode of young justice season 2 Nightwing comforts Robin (Tim) when leading his first mission by saying 'don't die.' Robin looks pretty disturbed by this, which is unsurprising considering the previous Robin notably ran away from adult supervision and then instantly died.

i really hate how people talk about clark and conners relationship in young justice tv. people r so weird about it conner is a clone (though hes more like a test tube baby) made without clarks consent. although hes seen trying be a little active in conners lifes in 1 episode its not enough and he's told by bruce the boy needed his 'father' which clark actively rejects. he didnt ask to be put in this position. and like. conner has a lot of adults in his life and he even moves in with the kents eventually. at the end of season 1 clark says hes glad he chose "conner kent" as a secrect identity which i take as him accepting him into the family. by season 2 they refer to each other as brothers and in season 4 clark is absolutely torn when everybody thought he died and theres this really touching scene where he talks to lois about how much his brother meant to him PEOPLE R SO WEIRD ABOUT THIS. they act like hes obligated to "parent" (even though the show makes it very clear their relation becomes brotherly) this kid who was created without his consent and already has plenty of adults in his life. u guys sound like pro lifers omggggg. and even though he doesnt want to parent him he convinces the kents to take him in instead. he doesnt need to be his dad. their brothers. thats what they redefined their relationship as. let them be that
