okay but if the curse had to go could RR at least have done something cool and angsty with it in SON? like give me a Percy who is so used to being invulnerable that he instinctively still fights that way for a bit even after its gone. like during the war games at camp jupiter he tries to stop a sword from striking him with his bare hand, so then he's just holding the blade, blood rushing down his arm, and he's just looking at it confusion while everyone around is looking at him like wtf. it also would have been even better if there had been more of a time skip between the events of pjo and hoo cause then you could have had this angle of Percy feeling pain for the first time in the long time... and he realizes he had forgotten just how badly so many things hurt

okay but on the topic of book!daniel being so assured armand will come to him whenever he needs him, what if show!armand kept doing this after the mindwipe whenever daniel got himself into a dangerous situation for the sake of uncovering some truth he was seeking. what if in s3 he asks daniel how he got out of that "interview" with that KGB guy but daniel can't say. he doesn't know. bc armand got him out of there and then made him forget about him again.
