As much as Ageswap Shen has the bad habit of saying the wrong thing at the worst time, she's also humble enough to admit her faults and apologise to the people that she hurts.

Immediately after the Falco situation is sort of handled (in that Yoshi is safe, but no one knows where Falco is and he'll definietly become a problem later), Shen apologises to Yoshi for what she said. He acknowledges it, but things are still super awkward between them and he's exhausted, so it doesn't feel like anything is resolved.

A few nights later, she visits the Lair. He hadn't gone on patrol the previous couple nights, he needed some time off to himself, and after everything she'd been worried about him.

Shen likes making things with her hands, and knew he liked peanut butter, so brought some peanut butter cookies.

They end up talking about their arguement and the whole Falco mess. She apologises and explains what she meant to say - it doesn't make what she said right, but knowing what she actually meant helps him feel better. He also admits he knew she was right about Falco being sus, but didn't want to beleive it, because he just wanted a friend.

The pair open up to each other. He tells her that he's afraid of being alone, that he'll never have a life outside of the Lair or friends. She tells him about how absent her parents are, what it's like to never really feel like you can rely on anyone else other than yourself. They hug each other, and she tells him that he's her friend, and she's sorry she made him doubt that. Yoshi just tells her that he was never angry with her, not really, and Shen can always rely on them for help if she needs it.

They have this conversation in his bedroom, sat on the floor. When they let go of each other, she looks up and notices a painting on his ceiling. She didn't know he was an artist, and he very nervously shows her his other drawings.

Shen ends up staying longer than she meant to, and only realises what the time is when her mum calls her, asking where she is. Uncle Leo ends up talking to Mrs Tang, and Shen is allowed to stay for dinner.
