I see so many christians talk about "trusting God fully" in a way where they encourage people to trust God that He will make their dream come true and their will happen. I saw one girl talk about how she is not applying to safety colleges because God is faithful and she doesn't need a plan B. Stuff like that is so wild to me. God is not a wishing well. It's not about you or your dreams, it's about God's will. If you don't get your big dream fulfilled, God is still good and faithful and He still has a plan. Be really weary of prosperity gospel.

• Sheol celebrate the Week of world's creation, and it's a week of fast, at least in the first half, unlike the (mostly) raucous parties in the name of deities

• yep, this "fast" isn't observed by everyone, but on average the inhabitants of the underworld take it seriously

• at least, they're children of God too 💋

• rituals depend on what was created every day of the week, and they aren't always completely fulfilled, but at least symbolically hellborns try to do this

• the first day: solemn lighting of the fire in the absence of other sources of light (separation of light ans darkness)

• Phenex, patron of minstrels and fire, sings hymns on this day with great enthusiasm, and the vibrations of his singing are felt throughout the all underworld

• the second day: to climb as high as possible, closer to the firmament above heads, though hellborns can limit themselves to the roof of a house or a hill (separation of firmament and water; the "firmament" in Sheol, i.e. the vault, is that which overhangs heads)

• on the first and second day hellborns eat only mushrooms

• water, of course, wasn't created that days, but this is omitted because of the importance of drinking; the main thing is that no alcohol stronger than beer

• the third day: throughout all days at least one ritual of gratitude to the earth, to the water and to everything what grows (creation of land, water and plants)

• these rituals, from digging up the first mushroom sprouts to dousing with water, are especially enthusiastic in the rural suburbs of Dis

• the fourth day: to go to the surface, to the mortal world, and spend the whole night under moon and stars (creation of sun, moon and stars)

• this is Stolas' favorite time because he always spends it in company of his beloved girls and with fellow astronomers

• on the third or fourth day you finally can eat plant food

• the fifth day: ritual dances, the beginning of the holiday for some residents, farcical performances in the streets, which are sometimes blasphemous from the point of view of the human church (creation of birds, fish and reptiles)

• for obvious reasons, it's already allowed to eat fish and birds, and life becomes bright

• fallen angels celebrate symbolic birthday

• the sixth day: the second day of ritual dances and performances, in general the same, but concerning mammals and specifically humans and close-to-humans creatures (creation of animals, Adam and Eve)

• yay hurray, meat, time to go hunting

• for six days up to the evening it's forbidden to have intimacy with husband/wife: de facto all Sheol's offspring are the descendants of shedim, created in the evening of the sixth day

• if (as a result of intimacy in this evening/night) couple conceived a child, it's a great happiness and almost like a blessing

• the seventh day: hellborns mostly do nothing, Yahweh rested and commanded us to rest

HAZBIN HOTEL REWRITE(ONESHOT): The Unknowing Future

Once upon a time, long ago, the universe birthed two omnipotent beings: Yahweh and Resha. Both were born to create. Yahweh created the crust of the Earth, while Resha created everything beneath the crust. After that, they left the Earth alone, letting it grow and blossom into itself. Yahweh and Resha had different views, so they went their separate ways and created their own realms.

Heaven and Hell. Heaven was filled with pure light, beautiful, and overflowing with untaintedness. However, Hell was pure darkness, nothing but lava and fire. Heaven was above and Hell was down. Yahweh took the name of God and Resha took the name of Roo, their past names long since buried and forgotten. God had their own set of creations, and Roo had hers. And that was all to it… Until a prophecy, long forgotten, is revealed.

“The stars shall fall, as the damned and the good shall cry out as their kind is faced with their end by the hand of the Antichrist, the first Nephilim.” The universe whispers, a soft whistle into the wind. A warning of a new god—a new omnipotent being, after so many years.

The Antichrist, Roo hasn’t heard that name in many years. Sure, it was mentioned when she was first birthed, but the universe had been incredibly vague about who the Antichrist was, and what exactly their purpose was. But now, the universe has finally revealed who the Antichrist is, and their purpose. A harbinger of destruction. After so many years, judgment day was finally coming to pass. In the past, it was God’s duty to judge their creations, if they’ve failed, then they’re met with their end, if they pass, they live. Simple and incredibly easy, but God has softened and become fond of the disgusting creations they call humanity. Roo would do it herself, but she isn’t that powerful, sadly.

Because of God’s disobedience, The universe had to compromise and give such duties to someone else—The Devil’s spawn, Charlotte Morningstar. One of Roo’s beautiful and favorite creations. It had been difficult, creating a Nephilim isn’t easy, especially when you’re creating their biology. So, Roo may or may not have stolen the way God had created Jesus, and she used that as her inspiration. The universe was incredibly insistent about The Antichrist not having a soul, and how it was needless for them to have one. Soulless beings are unnatural, every living being has one, well except for God and Roo. Roo has never made one before, but she isn’t one to disobey The Universe, unlike God.

Does this mean that Charlotte would not love? Yes. She would not feel anything. Roo can only feel pity for Lucifer and Lilith, but alas, that is what The universe had demanded for how Charlotte should be created. All was going well, Roo watched over Charlotte through an orb, she didn’t expect anything to be different as she watched through the lenses of the orb. Everything was going fine, until Charlotte told her parents something incredibly odd, with a shining gleam in her eyes:

“I want to help sinners!”

The words echo through Roo’s head. Charlotte wants to help sinners, an innocent desire, that she should not have. Charlotte has a dream to help her citizens, the disgusting and absolutely dirty sinners. Charlotte Morningstar, future Harbinger of Destruction, and Antichrist has a soul. There is only one person who is capable of giving a soulless being a soul…

“God.” Roo growls, her lips scrunching into a pissed-off scowl.

God takes a sip from a wine glass, the liquid a pleasant taste on their senses. After giving Charlotte a piece of themselves so she can use it as a soul, well they’re a bit tired and very weakened. They didn’t expect it to weaken them as much as it did, but the exchange had. God spread themselves too thin, and now they aren’t as strong as they once were. But it was worth it, no one deserves the cruel fate of not having a soul, especially not his granddaughter. Even if it changes the fate that The universe bestowed upon Charlotte, it is still worth it in the end. Charlotte’s future is now unseeable, who knows what path she may take, good or bad. But it shall be grand, God’s sure of it.

Now, God needs to take a much desirable vacation, after everything that’s happened and their entire existence, God is incredibly exhausted. They need time, ironically, to regain their strength back to its full level. For a time, they’ll have to leave Heaven in their children’s hands… Reluctantly. God is unsure how it happened, but their children’s behavior has changed. They’re more arrogant, superior, and unwilling to change. It would be a bad idea to leave Heaven in their hands, a terrible one even, but God doesn’t have any current options. God sighs, feeling their age, as they glance down at the wine in the glass.

“When did it all go wrong?” God wonders out loud and they lift the glass to their mouth, however, they don’t even get to take a sip as the glass explodes in their hand, the liquid getting all over God’s clothes and face. “My wine…” God mourns the wine they didn’t get to finish drinking.

“Yahweh!” A rough and quite unpleasant-sounding voice calls out, God’s expression deadpans, recognizing who it is. Roo is the root of all evil, the god of hell, and the mother of sins. Resha, their sister. Sometimes, God wishes they were an only child, it would make their life so much more pleasant.

“Resha,” God responds with a drawl, as their lips curl into a frown, “Lovely to see you again. Did you change your hair?” God’s voice oozes with sarcasm. Roo's face scrunches up into a feral snarl, however, God is unintimidated, they’re used to their sisters’ fiery temper.

“Shut up, you faceless buffon!” Roo snaps, her aura is lashing with the angelic energy, darkness never mixed well with the purity of Heavenly’s power. Roo points a claw at God, practically frothing at the mouth (ew), “I know what you did, you absolute idiot.” Roo spits out, her voice dripping with eons of hatred and venom.

God’s four eyes blink innocently at Roo, and they place their hand on their chest, “Moi? Whatever have I done, dearest sister?” God questions with an air of unawareness and confusion. It’s fun seeing Roo again, God can almost say that they’ve missed her presence. Almost.

“You gave Charlotte a soul!” Roo’s voice echoes throughout the throneroom, “Of all the idiotic things you’ve down over the ages, this one has to be the highest.” Roo bares her frighteningly, much too sharp teeth at God, yet, God’s expression remains unbothered.

“Ah. That. Yes, well I don’t have an explanation for why I did what I did,” God shrugs their shoulders carelessly, as they laze around on their throne, “I was feeling kind, I think.”

Roo scoffs, God has a feeling that she’s rolling her eyes, “Kind, my ass, you went against The universe’s explicit orders, again. Why? Is it because she reminds you of J–”

“Don’t.” God interrupts sharply and Roo gazes at God silently, her head cocked to the side as she observes her sibling. After a few minutes of silence, God starts speaking again, “No one deserves the fate of not having a soul, Resha. She would’ve gone mad, yearning for something she couldn’t have.” God says softly, remembering the haunting visions of Charlotte and her future. It was nothing but madness, destruction, and death.

Roo’s gaze is steady and she crosses her arms, “And yet, you’ve set her future up for a more tragic fate,” Roo declares, glaring at God heatedly, “She feels now. She loves, dreams, and she has hope. The universe will now allow her to keep the soul she has when it’s time for her to take her role as The Antichrist. Do you know what it’s like, dear brother, for a being to lose a soul? It’s a fate worse than death. You didn’t save her fate, you made it worse.” Roo sneers at God, giving them a disgusted look, as she teleports away, her dark aura leaving with her.

God collapses fully into their throne and they sigh heavily, their shoulders slumping. They can only hope that such a thing will not happen to Charlotte, anything can happen in her future, it isn’t linear, and it’s all because of God blessing her with a soul.

The future is now in fate's hands.

The mess with Venus-Lucifer

You know, with Venus in mythologies, some kind of mess is always happening. Sometimes it is a symbol of light and love, sometimes it is a symbol of war with a rather contradictory character. For the ancient Greeks and Romans, the Morning Star is the son of the goddess of dawn (Greek) Eos - (Roman) Aurora. He is described as an incredible handsome man who can compete in this with the local goddesses of beauty (Venus-Aphrodite). And in principle, he is a rather positive character there, heralding the beginning of the day. He was not among the main gods, no one made temples for him, but in poetry and just in everyday life he was often addressed. Okay, that is, we have a positive, light-bearing near-deity. Why is there also a Hesperus-Noctifer (Evening Star or Nightbringer)? Because Venus is visible well before dawn and at sunset, and the ancients thought that these were two different "stars", and when they realized that this was not the case, it was too late and they decided to simply leave them separately as convenient metaphors for the poetry.

Now let's turn to the biblical "Lucifer", because this is where it gets really interesting. This name appears in the Bible exactly once in the Latin translation, in a passage where the author mocks the Babylonian king who has fallen from grace.

“How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations! You said in your heart, “I will ascend to the heavens; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of Mount Zaphon."

So, first: in the Hebrew it says "Helel ben Shahar", that is, the Shining son of Shahar. Wait, what Shahar, you ask? And Shahar was the Canaanite-Ugaritic god of the morning. It is unknown whether this god had a son, and whether his name was Helel, I have not found any evidence, but maybe you will be able to figure it out. But there was a god Attar (the male version of the goddess Ishtar), who was also the personification of the planet Venus, and just had a rather ambiguous reputation as almost a god of war. On the one hand, his epithet was the word "terrible", and on the other hand, he was worshiped as a god-protector in some cities.

In general, Ugaritic mythology almost entirely refers to the Old Testament. There was a supreme god El, who created everyone and everything. El gave birth to lesser gods - they were called Elohim, children of El. (Yes, later they started calling angels Elohim). So there were a lot of Elohim, but we are only interested in a couple - Baal, Yahweh and Attar. There are a lot of things to think about, but as far as I understand, Baal was the local analogue of Zeus and ruled the other gods (Elohim), because El himself (the creator of the universe) preferred not to do anything special and dumped everything on his son. So Attar somehow sat on Baal's throne, but Baal returned and threw him down. This is according to one version, according to another - El himself offered him to become the supreme god after Baal's death, but the throne was too big for him, and he eventually went to the underworld himself and began to live there. Doesn't remind you of anyone at all, does it?) By the way, Attar's symbols were a bull and an antelope, so he was depicted with horns.

There is one interesting feature in the ancient Eastern pantheons, all the Elohim were not universal, but were folk gods, they patronized only one chosen nation, and fought against the rest. I mentioned Yahweh earlier, and Yahweh is the biblical god we are familiar with, whose cult appeared before Christianity and at some point he also became part of the Elohim. Over time, his cult became so popular that he absorbed the qualities of both Baal and El, as a result of which he was proclaimed the creator of the universe. But initially, Yahweh was the god of the Jews and only the Jews, and did not patronize other peoples. Remember the line from the Bible, where they said about "Lucifer": "I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of Mount Zaphon." So, in Ugaritic mythology, Zaphon is the mountain on which the supreme gods lived, that the analogue of Olympus. At first it was Baal's, but then he was replaced by the previously mentioned Yahweh. In the Bible, this mountain seems to be called Sinai (the place where God gave Moses the commandments).

So what happens: the God of the planet Venus tries to get the throne of the supreme god Baal-Yahweh, but in the end he goes into the darkness to rule there. Well, a pure biblical story about Lucifer as a fallen angel.

It is just not clear why these people did not like the planet Venus. Well, it shines and shines, so what? The thing is that ancient people REALLY loved to watch the sky. Really really. And they saw that before dawn a bright "star" appears in the sky, and they were like: damn, what does this mean? Then there was a sunrise, which blocked the glow of Venus and people were like: Hmm… The sun always defeats this star, Venus can only bring light in the darkness. But unlike the Greco-Romans with their positive Lucifer-Phosphorus, the ancient Eastern tradition interpreted this negatively, like: Ha, Venus, how dare you want to become the sun!

Well, here's your "devil". Now you roughly understand where it all comes from. And I look at all this and think: wait, so a huge number of people now live based on a rather chaotic mythological fan fiction of one of the ancient Eastern peoples? In short, I advise you to also check all this, google it, maybe you'll also find something interesting.

The God of the Bible is a Lovecraftian Horror

Disclaimer - This is not meant to offend anybody. If you are offended by the idea of this, just scroll past and don’t read it. This was just for fun, and a bunch of observations I have made. This isn't even meant to be taken seriously and is in no way an attack against any religions, Christian or otherwise. People are allowed to interpret Mythology however they want - no Mythology is above this, so I can take Abrahamic mythology and interpret it however I want to. Thank you.

I have come to the conclusion that the God of the Christian Bible is a Lovecraftian Eldritch horror. Here is the proof.

1 - His real name is never mentioned. Yahweh, Jahova, Elohim … these all mean “Lord” or “King” or “God” and are actually just a title. His real name is said to be unknowable, and that no man may utter it. Many of the Lovecraftian names are not really the name of the creatures mentioned, but rather a translation or title. Even the name people commonly know him by, God, is just a title. It simply describes what he is to the people who follow him.

2 - To look upon the face of God was said to cause blindness, death, or possibly insanity. He is said to be incomprehensible and unknowable. Look at what happened to those who touched the Ark of the Covenant, and what happened to them.

3 - People who had close contact with him went crazy. Ever read Revelations with all the crazy creatures and monsters described? It isn't just revelations either, crazy stuff happened surrounding this entity all throughout his book.

4 - There are incredibly loyal followers who continue to believe despite everything that seems to go against logic and reason. They have engaged in animal sacrifice. There is even a major story in their book about a human sacrifice that is at the core of their entire belief system. There was also a story about a man who was willing to sacrifice his own son on a single command. They built great and ancient monuments to him. Some could, arguably, call many of these followers a cult, has been one of the most dangerous and influential groups throughout history, and was part of what brought about the Dark Ages.

5 - There are tales of destruction and horror - about the End Days when he would come back with terrible wrath, and his followers hope for it to happen and even preach on the streets to spread this dark news.

6 - A quote from the bible says that “I thousand years is but a day to the Lord”, showing just how far removed from anything human this entity is.

7 - The Bible mentions how the Sons of God and the Sons of Men interbred… to create Nephilim. They were described as mighty giants… That sure sounds a lot like the Human/Great Old One hybrids from the Dunwich Horror, or the Deep Ones connected to Dagon.

8 - Jesus, who was said to be his son, had strange powers, survived Crucifixion, and vanished, said to have”Ascended into Heaven” - if no body was found, wouldn’t it make sense that he faded away to nothing like Wilbur Whatley did after his death? That adds to the idea that “Jesus” was a hybrid between a human and a Great Old One.

9 - Further on the subject of Jesus, he was said to be his son - but the Angels were also called the Sons of God - does this mean they were the Spawn of a Great Old One? Sure seems like it to me. Their behavior also lines up with this, in how they exist to serve their master and do his bidding.

10 - The Angels were described with inhuman and twisted features - such as one that was literally wheels covered in eyes and wings. Just like creatures spawning from Lovecraftian Horrors.

11 - He draws many parallels to Yog-Sothoth.

This passage about Yog-Sothoth:

“Yog-Sothoth knows the gate. Yog-Sothoth is the gate. Yog-Sothoth is the key and guardian of the gate. Past, present, future, all are one in Yog-Sothoth. He knows where the Old Ones broke through of old, and where They shall break through again. He knows where They have trod earth’s fields, and where They still tread them, and why no one can behold Them as They tread.”

and

“It was an All-in-One and One-in-All of limitless being and self—not merely a thing of one Space-Time continuum, but allied to the ultimate animating essence of existence’s whole unbounded sweep—the last, utter sweep which has no confines and which outreaches fancy and mathematics alike. It was perhaps that which certain secret cults of earth have whispered of as YOG-SOTHOTH, and which has been a deity under other names; that which the crustaceans of Yoggoth worship as the Beyond-One, and which the vaporous brains of the spiral nebula know by an untranslatable Sign…”

And verses describing God from his book:

Revelation 22:13 "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.“

Revelation 1:8 "I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

God and Yog-Sothoth both come from Arabic origin, so the lore matches up as well.

Yog-Sothoth AND God both impregnated a human woman in their texts.

Yog-Sothoth siring twins, and Mary having a single child.

12 - His followers have their own book like the Necronomicon. It is called the Bible… which translates to simply “The Book”. Like the Necronomicon, the Book is full of dangerous creatures, horrors beyond time, instructions for rituals and laws, and terrible dark tales that would make the sanest man cringe

The arcs of the plot. Part 2

5. Lilith's Revenge

This arch contributes to the disclosure of both Lilith and Lucifer. The plot is based on Lilith's desire to take revenge on Lucifer for deceiving her in Eden. It was Lucifer who led Lilith into the Abyss, but not as a "full-fledged citizen of society", at least, but as a servant and a mockery. Since the demons, for the most part (the exception is the hierarchy of air demons, archai), have a patriarchy, no one took Lilith seriously.

However, thanks to the less principled archai demons, Lilith was able to take a low, but definite place in the society of demons. But despite this, some of them, especially the seraphim, did not stop looking at her from above. Lilith was able to gain a foothold among the Archai by opening the world to them… carnal pleasures (for there are only men among the angels, respectively, even after being exiled and becoming demons, they still did not know this side of life). For the fact that she discovered such a "miracle" for them, the archai began to praise Lilith. They brought her everything she demanded and fulfilled her every request (within the framework of the laws of the community demons).

Considering that since this "method" helped her gain the favor of a whole third of the demons (the archai are the most numerous hierarchy in the Abyss), she decided to settle accounts with Lucifer in this way - to make him fall in love and exalt her.

But she did not take into account the impenetrable pride of Lucifer, a feature of all seraphim. It was this arch that contributed to the appearance of the Ate) So throughout the entire arc, Lilith will already try to seduce Lucifer out of her own pride and principle, in order to humiliate him. As a result, the arc will end already in season 1, somewhat differently from the outcome that Lilith and Lucifer himself expected.

6. A fallen friend

This is the arch of the angel Andrasel, who was unlucky enough to be in Sodom on that day to fulfill an assignment from the son of Yahweh. Initially, an arch was not planned with him, but there is too much of him in the scenes for an episodic character. But it can be useful in revealing the angels of Empyrean to the viewer. If he does not have an arch, and the scenes with him will be enough, it is not clear what he does in the scene without conflict, except for the explanation for the setting. His arch is directly connected and crosses Belial's arch and the main storyline.

So during the main storyline, he stumbles upon a former friend of the demon in Sodom, whom they have not seen since the expulsion of those from the Empyrean - Belial. Unaware of what is on his mind, he agrees to meet with him, despite the rules, as he wants to find out how his life is. But everything is not going according to plan for both of them. I described above what Belial's arch and his motive are, and so, Andrasel becomes the antagonist of his idea. And since he does not agree in principle to "contribute" to Belial's idea, Belial, during the scuffle, steals from him a halo - a "pass" to the Empyrean, without which Andrasel will not be able to return home. So the main conflict of this arch is Andrasel should force Belial to return the halo without violating his principles,

7. Temptation for Asmodeus

There was no arch planned with him either, but since the character will be associated with the Astaroth arch, it will obviously take some time to get to know him for the desired effect. His problem is simple, he also stumbles upon the trigger character Belial.

His goal is closely related to the arch of the Head of the Abyss. As the youngest seraphim, Asmodeus is eager to get one of these positions in the next election. Since the elections will take place on the basis of voting by other demons, the popularity, respect or sympathy of other demons for the candidate plays the greatest role here. Unlike Moloch, Asmodeus has fewer problems with self-control, and therefore more chances. But he has a weakness not particularly characteristic of seraphim - for simple pleasures. For the time being, he did not show curiosity about them and kept aloof until he decided to gain popularity among the most numerous hierarchy of demons for elections - the Archai, where he was unlucky to meet Belial.

Next, there is unlikely to be a spoiler if you Google the demon of what Asmodeus is in demonology. Of course, judging by his description, he does not look like the original Asmodeus. But why should the demon of lust be so sophisticated in this? Everything is known by comparison. In order to call this Asmodeus immoral, in the setting it is enough to compare other seraphim with him. He is the only demon in the seraphim hierarchy who has had an affair with a partner of his own sex. Considering how other hierarchies treat such connections (negatively), if Asmodeus's affair is revealed, he will definitely have no chance of a position, and never will be. So his conflict, similar to the Lucifer arch, is to conceal the fact in order to exclude his vilification. However, unlike Lucifer, he will rush back and forth in an attempt to get rid of his weakness.

The arches for the first season are finished. I will not prescribe the arches of other seasons here, there is no point. The framework of the whole story is ready, need to focus on season 1. But in advance, I would like to know what you think about such story arcs? (if, of course, you were able to read up to this point and master a ton of text😅) Do their conflicts sound interesting? BREAKING: Matt Gaetz Rushed to the Hospital After “Drowning in Jewish Semen”.

Trouble on Capitol Hill today as far-right Congressman was rushed to the hospital after having drown in Jewish semen.

“I’ve seen a lot of Jewish semen in my day, but I have never seen that much in a man’s mouth,” said one Congressman who preferred to remain anonymous to protect his identity.

An unnamed CIA official, who remained anonymous, told the Stormer: “Congressional studies have shown that a human being can only guzzle 7 gallons of Jewish semen every 15 minutes without risking death. Congressman Gaetz went above and beyond that limit this afternoon.”

When We Truly Love

“No one who abides in Him [who lives and remains in communion with and in obedience to Him—deliberately, knowingly, and habitually] commits (practices) sin. No one who [habitually] sins has either seen or known Him [recognized, perceived, or understood Him, or has had an experiential acquaintance with Him].” 1John 3:6AMPC

This scripture rankles denominations claiming ‘go ahead and sin, grace covers all sin.’ I will take it a step further.

When Lou and I married 54 years ago, if I displeased him, ‘he’ll get over it’ was my mentality. Marriage was about me. Over those first years, I learned to try and be pleasing— to keep peace within the confines of our home. Along the way, I fell totally head-over-heels in love with Lou. It became my desire to be part of him, an extension of his ideals, hopes and dreams. Today I have no desire to hurt or displease him in anyway.

Lou currently has bronchitis along with his other issues. I was trying to help him stand up and walk. He looked at me totally lucid saying, ‘I don’t want to hurt you. Please don’t, lifting will hurt your back. Get help.’ Then he slipped back into the fog of fever and illness. Those years of becoming a part of him reaped a harvest of his continued protection and concern for me, no matter how he feels.

My point: When we truly love— truly love God— we won’t want to sin—hurt Him. Those pet sins aren’t worth keeping around to stimulate us in the wrong manner. That addiction, desire, whatever isn’t as important as intimacy and fellowship with Yahweh Adonai. He becomes our consuming passion.

1John 1:8-9NIV “If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” This appears to be the total opposite of our text. It isn’t.

In the text it’s talking about pet sins— refusing to let go of things which God has been dealing with us about. This covers sins against your own body, etc.— “Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body.” Example——: “…For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.” Romas 1:26-27ESV. ——: “…nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality,…nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers…” 1Corinthians 6:9-10ESV. ——: “…impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry…” Colossians 3:5ESV. ——: “liars, perjurers” 1Timothy 1:10ESV ——: “A woman shall not wear a man's garment, nor shall a man put on a woman's cloak, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God.” Deuteronomy 22:5ESV Cross-dressing, or transgenderism?

Sin are listed also throughout the first five books of the Bible. They cover everything besides praising God and breathing. God is HOLY. He can’t tolerate sin close to HIm. His glory burns sins up. To daily not sin— breaking God’s Laws — is impossible. Jesus died for the payment of ALL THOSE SINS to bring us close to God. Still, we can choose our pet sins above our Savior by constantly claiming ‘grace covers.’ I remember the night Yahweh said to me— ‘Let go of that sin. I won’t tolerate it in you any longer. I can’t live with your sin.’ Not once have I regretted letting go of what was wrong for relationship with God.

Are you hanging onto something which is holding you back from God’s best? Sins are forgiven. Relationships are chosen and built. Which do you want? It’s your choice. You choose.

LET’S PRAY: LORD God forgive us for choosing sin over You. Cleanse our desires, in the name of Jesus Christ.

10 The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the (consistently) righteous man -- upright and in right standing with God -- runs into it and is safe, high (above evil), and strong.

Thought for the Day

This verse reveals the safety that is in the name of the Lord. All through the Bible, whenever anyone called on His name, we see that God responded in power to help them. Why is the name of the Lord so powerful? What is in a name? Behind every name, there is a person or object. A name represents the person or describes the object. Behind the name of the Lord, is the name of Jesus, the name of God, and the power of the Holy Spirit. The name of the Lord Jesus is backed up by all the power and resources of Heaven itself! Therefore, when a believer calls on the name of Jesus, he also has access to all the resources of Heaven.

God revealed Himself through many names in the Old Testament, but their English translations do not reveal what is expressed in Hebrew. Yahweh, translated as Lord, means the Eternal, Unchanging Covenant-Maker, and is combined with other names; for example, Yahweh Yireh, the Lord my Provider; Yahweh Shalom, the Lord my Peace, etc. There are several others. These names provided aspects of God's nature, which has been fully revealed in Jesus. In the New Testament, we find that Jesus Christ is the name above all names. "Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name" (Philippians 2:9). We can find comfort through God's Old Testament names, as all that He is, is available to us through Jesus. His name is indeed like a strong tower!

When we call on the name of Jesus, we have access to all the resources of heaven. By way of illustration, when a woman marries a man, she takes his name as her own. Legally, she has the right to all he owns and all he is. If he is honorable, she is also held in honor and esteem. She could withdraw all the money from their joint bank account if she wanted to because she has the legal right to do so. If her husband were to die, everything he owned which he did not allocate to someone else in a will would be hers. When we give our lives to the Lord, we take His name. We then have access to all that belongs to Jesus. We can ask anything in His name and receive it. When we have this kind of relationship, we will not ask for the wrong things, but only for those things that are according to His will. "And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it. If ye love me, keep my commandments" (John 14:13-15). His name is like a high tower that we can run into for safety because Jesus came to save us and deliver us from our sins and Satan's power.

Prayer Devotional for the Day

Dear heavenly Father, I am so thankful that we can run to You and find safety. Lord, there are so many things we face in this world that are dangerous, it is good to know that You are like a "high tower of safety." Thank you, for watching over me and my family and my friends. I also pray for the whole family of God and ask that You watch over each one of Your own. Guide us, Your people, in the right ways. Keep us from harm and temptation. Thank you also for the privilege of using the mighty name of Jesus, at which the enemy flees. May we all realize the power that we can have through the Holy Spirit, and grant us the faith to use it. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

To stir the angelic pot a bit more about who Crowley might have been in heaven let us consider there were possibly two "falls" of rebel angels.

The first, the fall of pride, basically would have happened after God told the angels to bow/prostrate/respect Adam the first man as they did him. This did not compute with angels who would put nothing and no one equal or above God so they left.

Satan is included in this lot but let us consider that Satan is not one particular entity but that Satan means 'one who opposes' so then it was someones job to ask questions about stuff. Like, whomever is the best fit for the moment to be the opposing viewpoint of God.

The second fall is the fall of sin and the "evil" angels who became devils and so on.

And look in to the lore of Lucifer the morning star (Venus) before the Bible and connected beliefs were codified. He was a thing before Yahweh became everything.

I've been feeling audacious recently so

1. I am Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slaves. You shall have no other gods before Me. 2. So how any of these are broken by communism.... I don't know *shrugs*. But if you would like another verse

Now, one of my bible commentaries would say this isn't communism because:

"the sharing was voluntary" This doesn't make it not communism - a form of economic organization in which private goods are held in common by a community. That is literally what this is.

"it didn't involve all private property, but only as much as was needed" Scripture doesn't say that, nor are their any hints or hyperlinks that suggest such. We could reason that this is an example of exaggeration to make a point (see: Solomon's wealth) but I don't really think that's necessary. It is quite possible that in fact most of the people in the Jerusalem district of the Early Jesus Movement decided that the best way to live at the teachings and message of Jesus, the Torah and the prophets, was to live together as a communal group.

"it was not a membership requirement to be a part of the church" Ofc not, which is what makes it better! This wasn't motivated by any political or economic theory, any more than Jesus' life was motivated by political philosophy: it was rooted by agape - other centered, life giving love from me to you that causes me to lay down my life for you.

Now, I am not a communist, not because the bible ever condemns communism, but because the human heart is wicked above all things and is irreversibly sick without the Spirit giving them a new one (see: the entire Tanakh). I do think there is a reason why when the government decides to implement communism it ends in dictatorship.

That said, local Christian communities can and should absolutely consider whether they wish to live communally together and what that would look like for them.

Communism is against the first, second, fourth, fifth, eighth, and tenth commandments. Occultism is against the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and eighth. Not that you care.

Why is this phrased like a tsundere
