The modern technology usage in A Glitch in Time was worked in pretty seamlessly tbh. Listennnn SNW Spock is so human and he embraces that part of himself so much and so openly, he let’s people refer to him as human and explores it constantly, and that is so different from TOS Spock who staunchly identifies as Vulcan and feels shame at any indication of emotion or humanity, which makes me think something is going to happen at some point in SNW where Spock’s humanity causes someone he loves irreparable harm and he decides to permanently destroy that part of him for good
