i am making another cover… using a VSQX i found on soundcloud 🥺.. a lot of the pronunciations were off though when i put it into synthv so i spent almost 3 hrs fixing them & adjusting some of the tuning, i just have to mix it now ( despite still not knowing how to tbh ) and then make a little simple video for it!! i think this one sounds way better than my first attempt honestly ( definitely thanks to the vsqx ) but!! i am excited to post it once it’s done

I am just so excited that I had the opportunity to re-record this massive work with better equipment and better knowledge! It’s already sounding so so good! :)

Ok y'know what, screw it. My brain seems to require three-four pieces at one time (genuinely cannot figure out why that is), and with the fact I only have two queued up right now and the game I'm composing for doesn't need any tracks at the moment, I'm getting composer's block again. So we're OPENING my music requests!!

I'm actually stunned at how many people seemed interested in getting a piece of soundtrack music for their f/o. I'm opening it to non-mutuals, and it's totally free! If you're concerned about paying/tipping for work, I'm always happy to receive content for my selfship, but I will not accept any money, and there's no pressure to tip content anyway. Again, this is for fun!

This is how it works:

Fill out this google form with the title of your ship, some songs you like, instruments, etc etc.

You can message on Tumblr or Discord (@/slipperson on Discord) on top of submitting the form too! I'll reach out myself once I get started on your piece.

I'll sketch out a draft, which is exactly like sketching out a basic pose for art - it'll typically only use piano/minor percussion. Sometimes I'll even give a simple concept before I flesh out a draft. I'll send it to you for approval.

If changes are needed, I'll refine the draft and re-update. If not, I'll go on to fleshing out the instrumental - this means adding instruments, changing volume (for example, in my first example, I used a lot of "dynamics"/volume changes to simulate the swelling of instruments). This is like adding the flat colors in a piece of art!

I'll send it to you again - I'll make changes upon your request, but if approved, I'll finally go ahead and mix the final draft. This means putting it through an audio program (audacity if you're curious!) and polishing the sound. This is like rendering the lighting!

After it's done, I'll send it to you for once last listen. Upon approval, I'll post it to Soundcloud, link it on Tumblr, and tag you in the post!

Important bits:

No comship/proship/aged up-or-down/RPF ships. Live action characters are fine as long as it's not the actual person. Familial/platonic ships are totally okay!

If you are a minor/ageless blog, I'm willing to write a piece for familial/platonic content, but not QPR/romantic.

Downtime is 1-2 months after I first open your request. I may finish it sooner, but no later than 2 months. This is because music generally takes awhile--30 seconds of music can take me 4-5 hours to concept! I also tend to work on 3-4 pieces of music at a time.

I will give frequent updates. Don't be afraid to reach out if you're curious on the status!

My work is never cleared to be used commercially or in AI programs. We're a bunch of selfshippers on Tumblr, so I know we all hate AI, but it's worth the mention. I tend to be strict on copywrite - it'll stay under my name, all rights reserved - however, you are free to use your piece wherever you'd like as long as it's not commercial use, used in a monetized campaign/video/form of media, and not used in AI.

I may put these tracks on a streaming service at a later date - not on Spotify, as the service is TERRIBLE with allowing their work to be remixed into AI. Something like Bandcamp or Soundcloud for Artists. If you are uncomfortable with this, please let me know.

UNDEREVENT 2024 HAS RELEASED

...And EVERYONE IS HERE! :D

I can finally show you all what we’ve been working on for over half a year now ^^

Yes! Undertale: Souls’ Link joins UnderEvent 2024 with its own animated trailer! 

It comes with a good summary of the plot for anyone new to the story. And for all of you who’re familiar with it already, you’ll be able to enjoy a full animation of SL’s Chapter 0, along with a bunch of segments from the best panels of the comic, all of them with a more improved artstyle. (And maybe some stuff you haven’t seen in the comic yet? 😁​)

The trailer will be released individually tomorrow on YouTube, Newgrounds and other websites; but for now, I invite you all to check out the full presentation and see what everyone has worked so hard on for months. UnderEvent has become a huge project over the years, it involves over a 100 people from all around the world making tons of games, animation, music, art, voice acting, scripting, etc. All of it done out of passion. I also got to work as a cleanup animator for some of the scenes, and I quickly grew fond of its own story and characters.

It’s a love letter to Undertale, Deltarune and its community, and it deserves all the support it can get.

I want to thank Octo, Rusty and Snowy for all their support during the making of my own trailer. Snowy’s the main composer in UE and he offered his help to make Souls’ Link’s soundtrack as well, so make sure to check out his work on Youtube and Soundcloud ^^

The grand unified theory of Good Omens S2 hangs on - you guessed it - a double meaning (and art). *Part 1*

This is major spoilers for season 3 territory. You have been warned. I'm also going to split this into parts because wow, I have so many ✨Clues✨!

As a few people have started saying already, something very fishy is going down in season 2, and it seems to be The Metatron's (boo hiss) doing. And by Job, they seem to be right. Come with me on a long and magical journey through time, and trust that I will bring you back to the double meaning of it all very soon. But because I am an Art Director, some things jump out as being very specifically dumb in S2 in a way that I find impossible for the smart people at Good Omens to have done by accident. I started having my doubts about what we were seeing on screen specifically while watching this scene :

Bildad voice "You think you guys are in a gang, with your cute little buttons, and your neat white power tatto--oooh wait a second... HAHAH WTF" - Me

This dildo literally has a NO REGERTS tattoo on his forehead. What. And two teardrops ABOVE his eyebrow. Dude. No. Any wannabe soundcloud rapper knows the teardrops go UNDER THE EYE. I have not found a single example of a real person putting teardrop tattoos above their eye, and I have googled. Also their pins seem extremely well placed, symmetrical, and just kinda... generic? Like the top one in the close-up is just a Scottish flag pin for both dudes. Do these guys... not know how to gang? Then there's this :

No miracle sound, no show of a stern face from Aziraphale, just a kind but firm ask and these two *GaNgStErs* do exactly what they're told. It's almost as if this was an order from an angel and they understood that, and just did it.

But you know what else is funny about REGERTS? It's a mis-spelling. You want to know who else misspells things in this universe?

So now we have two threads to follow : 1) There are *fake gangsters* hanging around Aziraphael in the cemetery. Why? Who put them there? 2) These *fake* people seem like they have traits in common with with Maggie - and demons (because they can't spell and do what they're told, mostly.) Are any of those others *fake* too?

Last Song: I've been listening to Jakey's ROMCOM, I have Drive Off A Bridge and Survival Horror on constant rotation. I am going to mention heylog's cover of Lil Yachty's Poland because it's my most listened-to song of all time (according to SoundCloud lol).

Favorite Color: I love an ashy blue! That's the color of my bedroom and my desktops. For my clothing and hair, I love neon pink with some neon green (right now a section of my hair is neon pink and once it's faded I am going to try (emphasis on try lol) to go neon green.

Last Movie: I don't really like watching movies? It's been a couple months, but I think it was 1996's Bound because a friend sent me an edit of Corky and said it reminded them of Wednesday lol.

Last Book: I don't read much other than graphic novels lol. I'm currently reading a GL titled Kill Me Now by Cosmos. I've also gotten back into the manga Claymore by Norihiro Yagi.

Sweet, Spicy, or Savory: What about salty? My family says my father and I have "salt problems" lol. Of the three, spicy 1000%. I have a pretty high heat tolerance, I just like spicy things for the sake of them being spicy.

In November of 2014, Kim Na-young, known as machérie in the music industry, is a 22 years old Korean Canadian producer and songwriter whose work has been heard and praised all over the world for the past few years, which has given her the reputation of being some sort of musical genius with a knack for producing songs and sounds that turn any unknown artist into a global star overnight. Nobody really knows who she is or what she looks like, and she spends most of her time holed up in her little studio in Montréal, coming out of her man cave once in a while to grab a coffee with friends or attend a random university lecture on feminism in the 60s. Sennatronic is an animatronic of the mascot Senny Cydap (hence the name) that is currently possessed by a space entity known as "The Cosmind". It's currently on the loose, abducting people and adding them "to the interstellar choir"

There also an AU where Senny Cydap is instead an Imaginary friend that was brought to life through unknown means. This version of Senny is really nice and aim to spread joy.
