#Why must I be like the demons?

Okay, I'll ask. What's with demons and ducks?

Like seriously. First, it was Crowly from Good Omens:

"Ducks have ears. Do ducks have ears? Must do. That's how they hear other ducks."

"DUCKS!" [What about ducks?] "They're what water slided off of."

"Don't give them bread, you idiot!" (Conversation) "Frozen peas." [...What?] "That's what you feed ducks, frozen peas. They love them, and its good for them too."

And then we have Lucifer in Hazbin Hotel:

They're all around his room as well, and his introduction was literally him finishing making a duck!

Not even to mention that I have an obsession with ducks as well. I am not shitting you. I have: duck pillow case, duck comforter, duck drawings, duck pens, duck notebook, duck keychain, 3D puzzle duck, giant rubber duck, two duck ordiments, duck slippers, and not to mention the 111 rubber ducks I have and the 6 plush ducks I have. (I might be missing something).

And this was BEFORE I found out about these two! I think I've been obsessed for about a little more than a year and a half by now.

Demon twins? Demon twins. 

Damian? Good at the assassin side of things, at least for a four year old, but Danyal? He’s okay, but he’s far better at things like poisons and bookkeeping. Which is honestly? Okay. They’re the League of Shadows, and sure a majority of the members are assassins, but it’s definitely not all there are. So? Danyal starts getting medical training. 

Not to say that either of the boys don’t know their fair share of violence and healing- it’s just better to let them play to their strengths. One doesn’t keep a league over centuries if they just have one type of warrior, or even just warriors. A variety is needed. 

So one gets trained more towards the business side of things. Damian may be better at wielding the weapons and killing- even if neither have had their first kill quite yet- but Danyal shows far more proficiency at acting, at masking who he is and gathering information. 

Damian, when he’s first sent to their Father, doesn’t mention his twin. Not because he’s jealous or hates him or anything like that. You just don’t talk about someone in an undercover mission in the League, and it’s not something he realizes isn’t a rule everywhere. 

Needless to say, the Bats have more than a mild freakout the first time Damian mentions a twin who will be coming to the manor now that his mission is over.

I wonder if Illario is hurt by Lucanis not seeming to suspect him? If he's offended that Lucanis was so quick to accept he was an incompetent idiot rather than that he planned this? I wonder if Lucanis being so in denial that he treats Illario like he's genuinely the fool he's pretending to be is part of why Illario thinks Lucanis isn't Lucanis and is just a demon now? Because Lucanis would see through him. Wouldn't he?

The same way Lucanis is choosing to believe that Illario is stupid so he doesn't have to accept that Illario betrayed him, would Illario rather believe that Lucanis is dead and replaced by a demon than that Lucanis, the one person who was supposed to truly know him at all, genuinely believes he's an incompetent, careless idiot?

I wrote one about Obanai needing to take like vitamins or meds for his weak immune system earlier but like imagine he has a little tummy ache and feels sick and refuses to eat like anything and all he wants is cuddles but he doesn't let anyone touch him so they place him in the crib surrounded in stuffed animals and blankets but he keeps whining and when Muichiro goes in to check on him, he can hear obanai say something that sounds close to "bubba" so muichiro does what he can for his "baby brother". Cue Tengen and Rengoku coming in a little later to put the other two down for a nap and they see Muichiro sleeping in the crib holding a sleeping Obanai. The two woke up to everyone staring at them and Obanai squeals with a pink face and hides in his big brothers neck. Muichiro has a shit eating grin on his face knowing he's one of the babys faves

anon do you know how mmuch i am bawlin over this concept. i absolutely need to draw it after finishing a few more commissions this is so cute. muichiro would be so smug about it
