ONCE AGAIN EDDIE DEAR (AKA ME) SAYS END THE OCCUPATION🗣️🗣️🔥🔥‼️‼️‼️
Yeah ngl I wasn’t sure if I’d finish it cause of the lighting and shading, but I think it worked out well
Let me know y’all’s feedback on this, I did my best to show Eddie wearing the keffiyeh as respectfully as possible (if there’s any respect that’s needed towards it, I’m not an expert on this)
Happy Ramadan to those who celebrate, and free Palestine❤️🖤🤍💚
183 You who believe, fasting is prescribed for you, as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may be mindful of God. 184 Fast for a specific number of days, but if one of you is ill, or on a journey, on other days later. For those who can fast only with extreme difficulty, there is a way to compensate – feed a needy person. But if anyone does good of his own accord, it is better for him, and fasting is better for you, if only you knew. 185 It was in the month of Ramadan that the Qur’an was revealed as guidance for mankind, clear messages giving guidance and distinguishing between right and wrong. So any one of you who is present that month should fast, and anyone who is ill or on a journey should make up for the lost days by fasting on other days later. God wants ease for you, not hardship. He wants you to complete the prescribed period and to glorify Him for having guided you, so that you may be thankful.”
[The Qur’an 2:183-185, translation of M. A. S. Abdel Haleem]

Ramadan Mubarak, wishing everyone ease and refuge, further along the path of liberation
This blessed month is a time purely for worship, and to strengthen & deepen our religious life with sincere intention.
Ramadan gives us the great gift of taqwa (تقوی) so the believers can feel in the depths of their soul that they are in constant need of guidance & sustenence which comes from Allah(ﷻ), and ultimately plants all the goodness in their hearts, refine their speech, and organize the ummah with appropriate standards.
This holy month prepares the muslims with a wakeful heart to be communicative with the words of Almighty himself( Qur'an) and points them in the direction of righteousness.
Ramaḍân is the month in which the Quran was revealed as a guide for humanity with clear proofs of guidance and the decisive authority. So whoever is present this month, let them fast.
Fajr prayer is so important that Allah (ﷻ ) named a chapter in the Quran after it.The rising of sun and the spread of its rays across the skies is considered a sacred time when Angels are said to descend, flocking to be around those who have risen early to pray, they will bear witness. You snooze, you lose.
It’s a pleasant night and we know it’s going to be a pleasant night from that same Quran verse:
Peace it is until the emergence of dawn. (97:5)
So we’re looking for a night that is very calm, very peaceful.
Ibn Khuzaymah said that “it is a night that is neither hot nor cold.”
2- The Moon Looks Like a Piece of a Plate
Some say it looks like half a plate. (Muslim)
3- In the Last Odd Nights
The night is in the last ten nights on the odd nights: 21st , 23rd , 25th , 27th , 29th of Ramadan.
There are lot of people who try to seek the night of decree on the 27th of Ramadan simply because it did occur on the 27th before. There are narrations for it but there are also narrations for other nights.
The scholars said that this is something with wisdom otherwise if you know that is doing to be in the 27th why would you do the acts of worship on any other night.
So basically, Laylatul-Qadr changes from year to year but still in the last ten nights on the odd nights so that the Muslims actually keep working hard for the rewards.
4- There is Possibility of Rain.
So there are narrations where Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) did mention that he dreamed about Laylatul-Qadr and in that dream he had prostrated and when he came up, his face was wet with rain water and mud. (Al-Bukhari, 813)
5- The Sunrise for the Next Morning
Narrations say that it is going to be a sun with no rays. So that means it’s a very weak sun, you can look straight at it. But the explanation for why, imam An-Nawawi gave us two explanations:
Allah just wants it that way. He wanted the sun to come up in a very special way after a special night.
Because the amount of angels filling the sky, they’re actually blocking the sunbeams.
tasbih:
- subhanallah x33
- alhamdulillah x33
- Allah akbar x33
- followed by Laa ilaaha ill-Allah wahdahu laa shareeka lah, lahu’l-mulku wa lahu’l-hamd wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadeer (there is none worthy of worship except Allah alone with no partner. to Him belongs all sovereignty and praise, and He has power over everything)
it is narrated by Abu Huraira that if anyone extols Allah after every prayer thirty-three times, and praises Allah thirty-three times, and declares His Greatness thirty-three times, ninety-nine times in all, and says to complete a hundred: “There is no god but Allah, having no partner with Him, to Him belongs sovereignty and to Him is praise due, and He is Potent over everything,” his sins will be forgiven even if these are as abundant as the foam of the sea. (Sahih Muslim 597a)
Istighfar:
- astaghfirullah x3
Ayatul Kursi
Hadith: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: "Whoever recites Ayat al-Kursi at the end of every obligatory prayer, nothing but death will prevent him from entering Paradise."
Allaahumma ‘innee ‘a’oothu bika minal-hammi walhazani, wal’ajzi walkasali, walbukhli waljubni, wa dhala’id-dayni wa ghalabatir-rijaal
(O Allah, I seek refuge in You from grief and sadness, from weakness and from laziness, from miserliness and from cowardice, from being overcome by debt and overpowered by men, i.e. others).
there are, of course, many others. these are just a select few to avoid overwhelm and to encourage. there is a hadith that says, if, after praying, one stays on their prayer mat and does not break their wudhu (ablution), the angels keep on asking for Allah's blessings and forgiveness for them. they say 'O Allah! Forgive him and be Merciful to him'. (Sahih al-Bukhari 659)
this is why it is important and good to remain in your place for a while after praying and remember Allah. these dua's are good to start with. may Allah make it easy for us all, Ameen
We find ourselves amidst a continuing tragedy of genocide, where our brothers and sisters in Gaza endure the harsh realities of starvation and food scarcity.
With that said, it would be prudent to refrain from sharing images of lavish iftars and elaborate dining setups.
Let us prioritize sensitivity and compassion in our actions.
