I grit my teeth and read the entire executive order regarding trans people, and I just want to take the opportunity to remind folks not to forget intersex people. One of the rescinded documents is “Supporting Intersex Students: A Resource for Students, Families, and Educators," and there is a huge emphasis on legally enshrining "only two sexes."

Yes, this affects trans people, but with the way intersex voices often get ignored in trans spaces, I just want to remind folks not to shut us out. Don't forget us. Don't keep talking over us. Don't act like we aren't on the front lines. Don't act like this is just about you. Please.

I feel like folks talking like Tumblr is the last bastion of reason on the Internet are forgetting that the owner of Tumblr is demonstrably cut from the same cloth as Zuckerberg and Musk. Tumblr's moderation polices aren't less bigoted, they're just less competently implemented.

Ceechynaa is so clearly playing a character in her music i don't know how people can't see it.

She has multiple videos where she criticises beauty conventions, explains older men only wanna date 18 year olds to groom them, etc

Her music is femdommy and talks about sex and sex work - but that doesn't mean she doesn't criticise the beliefs held by men who interact with sex workers.

In "Legal Baby" she consistently mentions that older men try to groom her, but since she never falls in love with them, she's able to scam them

In "Peggy" absolutely everything she mentions is consensual. She's using the same tones men do when rapping about SA'ing women, but subverts the entire thing with her lyrics. Men are excessively vitriolic towards her online because of that but i wonder if that's because they assumed the same thing that they say about women is now being said about them without deeper regard for the lyrics because they assume that tone is referential to SA.

I don't think Ceechynaa's work can be considered feminist anthems, but i do think if you listen to the lyrics and what she's actually saying, she has a pretty good underlying message about sex work and how society treats sex workers

I honestly don't know how to feel seeing Dave Chappelle, who's said antisemitic and transphobic rhetoric, advocating for Palestine on SNL. I feel like it'd just associate the pro-Palestine movement with transphobia and antisemitism. And a part of me is cynical and believes that Chapelle's advocacy is utterly performative.
