I don’t think people realize how freaked out fanfic readers get when their favorite author(s) doesn’t update their ongoing schedule ON TIME.

And it’s not cause we want the chapter…it’s cause we’re so fucking worried about the Author.

Like— OMG ARE YOU OKAY? YOU’VE BEEN GIVING US THE TRAGIC UPDATES OF YOUR LIFE IN THE NOTES THE PAST 10 CHAPTERS?! WHY STOP? ARE YOU DEAD? DID YOU GET STUCK IN THE WALL LIKE YOUR CAT?? HAVE YOU EATEN?? HAS YOUR BRAIN EXPLODED??

Readers no longer care about the story when they don’t get their usual update. We panic and flag S.O.S as we track down our wayward author who has been both blessed by the universe with a creative mind and cursed all the same with the worst luck.

So any authors who are reading this please understand— when we comment “hey are you okay?” in your comments. No, we are not asking about the chapter.

We are legitimately concerned for your wellbeing. Do not force yourself to shit out a chapter just to appease other ppl when you yourself are not in the mental state to enjoy it or even write it to begin with.

SMG4 itself is like over one thousand episodes including movies but the Puzzlevision arc honestly isn't that long... maybe... I skipped the intervals tbh jgfjdglkdsg. If you can take the initially more dominant style of humor (which I believe is the standard, and it just isn't for me so I had a hard time getting through some episodes in the beginning) then it's alright :3

If nothing else it's definitely worth it for Brendan Blaber's vocal performance because he honestly blows the character out of the park. I love the passion and the raging and the playful moments as well, really makes him sound like a fun quirky fella who might also burn your house down

I totally agree with the general consensus that Ringo provided a lot of emotional support and coolheadedness to the other beatles to the point where they'd have probably killed each other without him but I do also wonder sometimes how much of that is being supernaturally patient and easygoing and how much of it is Ringo just having a tumultuous and isolated childhood where he was never taught to recognize and assert his own emotional needs so he became a blank slate on which others could process their emotions

(And tbh I also wonder how an inability to access or assert his feelings may have contributed to his tendency to process pain by numbing himself and the pretty shitty way he treated women)

#Talia al Ghul #Talia al Ghul Appreciation #Blog PSA #Not a Brutalia stan but I support the shippers.#Fuck Grant Morrison #They were the catalyst for her being mischaracterized for near 20 years now.#I don't know if I believe them when they say they “remembered that scene wrong.”#Like... what?#Literally nothing in Talia's character or writing should have ever led you to think that of her.#And you're not a fucking fanfic author writing for tens to maybe a couple hundred readers Grant.#You were writing for an official canon work that thousands upon hundreds of thousands of people have read.#You had a duty to double check your facts before tarnishing the legacy of a character #that has been so incredibly important to the Batman history and story.#I'm of the belief that it was done at least in part to make Bruce the good parent #which is a bit of a hard thing to do after decades of him being a C- dad 90% of the time to the boys and pretty shitty to Stephanie.#Have also considered it was something done to make Damian more... Tragic? Sympathetic? Potentially.#But I'm not as confident in that as I am that it was motivated by the desire to make Bruce the good parent of the two.#Even if we dismiss those possibilities and the prejudices involved #Grant could have just gone through those issues again and went with the storyline where Brutalia gets it on #then Talia either never informs Bruce of the pregnancy or fakes a miscarriage like I think she did in the original pre Crisis plot.#After that she hides the pregnancy from Ra's and gives birth in secret.
