Being sent off Idavay suddenly and without much warning at all, he left a lot of things he loved behind. But most importantly to him, maybe, were his Qulits. Qulits are a common pet on Idavay for children, they're small, round creatures made mostly of gas that are kept in tanks. Zax had a small colony of five of them in his tank, and cared for them with all his heart.

Zax has a reoccurring dream that also happens to be a nightmare! While Idavay's crown city was never actually touched by the war, Zax still heard lots of stories about it. The war against Safin had been going on since before he was born, after all, it was all he'd ever known. The dream involves him being taken prisoner. In the dream Saffa have invaded the Island of Idavay and broke into the City and have dragged him out into the mainland island. (Idavains live in caverns under the ground to avoid the sun-- as it is very much still a deadly laser! Suitinrix, their planet, sits closer to their star than Earth does to the Sun!) On the island, out from the caverns, the Saffa tie him to a tree. As the sun slowly begins to rise, the shadows begin to recede... And inch by inch, as more and more of him is revealed to the sun, more and more of him begins to be cooked alive.

Jae-hyo is the only survivor of a family of four subjected to unethical human experimentation at the quadrangle known as Unit 731. They were part of the infamous Holzklotz Project and members initially would draw large amounts of Jae's blood due to it's type (AB). He would later be exposed to toxins such as tetrodotoxin, heroin, mercury, bindweed, and ricin in an effort to understand their effects on the human body.

He managed to survive and develop immunities to various poisons, his own body adapting to them much like the evolution of the blue coral snake from which his current codename is derived. Eventually his own body became saturated with it's own variety of toxin, which the unit scientists began to experiment with on other prisoners. They gouged out pieces of his flesh to see how it would interact with other elements such as water and soil- as well as taking blood, lacrimal gland, and saliva samples from his body- all without the use of anesthesia.

When the war finally came to an end, many prisoners were gunned down or fed poison in a hasty effort to cover up evidence of wrongdoing. Jae escaped while the building was set aflame and conspired to take his story to the U.S. media, but eventually learned that the U.S. had secretly granted immunity to surviving team members of Unit 731 in exchange for their data on biological warfare and bacteriological experimentation on humans.

Yoon would later share microfilm he'd collected in addition to his personal account to the Soviet Union, where he became a spy for the Spetsnaz GRU. He served under Colonel Volgin until the destruction of Groznyj Grad and disappeared, eventually becoming a disillusioned mercenary for various PMCs. He is later recruited by Commander Kazuhira Miller and finds a reason to continue fighting: revenge.

People seem to think this is fake because it's written in English. Apart from the racism in believing that Arab doctors and nurses aren't fluent in English (a second or official language for half of Asia), Palestinians have deliberately been addressing their audience in English on every social media, from journalists to children, because they know speaking English to Westerners immediately makes people more human in their eyes. Because language is one of the ways the imperial cultural hegemony conditions us (yes, everyone in the world) to see who qualifies as "people" and who are simply a mass of bodies who were always made to suffer and die. Gazans know this deeply, which is why they have been using English to beg and plead through social media, "We're not numbers! We're not numbers! We're people like you, we speak your language, we deserve to live!" all the while they're systematically slaughtered.

Israeli forces also encircled Al Shifa Hospital yesterday and bombed it for several hours while shooting dead anyone trying to flee including medical staff moving between buildings. Not sure whether it's still continuing because WHO lost all communications with its staff there a few hours after. The last new report said that thirty-nine babies had been removed from the incubators before the power went out. It's extremely unlikely they will survive.

Please understand that these atrocities depend on the war of attrition between governments and public attention. The momentum of public outcry is difficult to sustain through repeated stonewalling and bureaucratic intractability. When we're flooded with these reports and a sense of futility and despair replaces the anger, it allows compassion fatigue to set in and the violence to become normalized. Massacring hospitals, killing sick children and openly targeting humanitarian aid workers (Netanyahu just declared the UNRWA is in league with Hamas) will become simply more news articles that fade into the background, and open genocides will soon become part of the "lesser evil".

Take care of yourselves how you can, take distance where needed, but please never tune out and give up on the two million people for whom we are the only witness and hope. Never stop boosting and sharing the news and posts you find, never stop getting out there and joining every protest you can, however small. Anger burns out, which is why activism must depend on an immovable sense of justice and uncompromising value for human life. It's not just about Gaza, it's about the kind of evil our generation will be coerced into accepting as unchangeable and inevitable hereafter.

The body of a six-year-old Palestinian girl, missing for 12 days after an Israeli tank targeted their family car in Gaza, has been found along with the bodies of two medics dispatched to look for them.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) and the family of the girl, Hind Rajab, confirmed on Saturday that all seven people inside the car were killed, with the Palestinian relief organisation saying it lost crew members Yusuf Zeino and Ahmed al-Madhoun in the Israeli attack on civilians in Gaza City.

Family members found Hind’s body along with those of her uncle and aunt and their three children near a roundabout in the city’s Tal al-Hawa suburb, the Palestinian news agency Wafa reported.

Another of Hind’s uncles, Sameeh Hamadeh, said the car was peppered with bullet holes.

“The occupation deliberately targeted the ambulance upon its arrival at the scene, where it was found just metres away from the vehicle containing the trapped child Hind,” said the PRCS statement.

“Despite prior coordination to allow the ambulance to reach the location to rescue the child, Hind, the occupation deliberately targeted the Palestine Red Crescent ambulance crew.”
