While Vincent is less likely to initiate, I like to think he's much more aggressive than most people assume based on his general demeanor. (Cloud certainly wasn't expecting it, but he's not complaining.)

I mean really, you have a mother screaming and begging to see her child and meanwhile people are whining about her marrying Hojo instead of Vincent. Like??????

Oh and then they basically blame her for choosing Hojo while he is emotionally abusing her onscreen, to the point where she is very visibly having a breakdown.

But I guess that just makes her "whiny and annoying". 😮‍💨 That's what she gets for rejecting the right choice, I guess. She had it coming.

Hating Lucrecia for “being a horrible person” even after we see her life-altering guilt for the mistakes she made but loving Vincent and Sephiroth and sympathizing with their actions despite all of their own moral failings isn’t fair and never will be

Vincent is Sephiroth’s biological father, however Sephiroth is conceived after Hojo experiments on Vincent, as a result Sephiroth inherits Vincent’s transformations. Growing up Sephiroth hated his transformations due to them making him feel even less human, and as a result only used them when ordered to which was usually during training and missions(especially during the Wutai war). Now that he no longer sees himself as human(and very likely believes he inherited his transformations from Jenova) he won’t even hesitate to transform into one of his monsters especially if it benefits him. Which makes encounters with Sephiroth even more dangerous for Cloud and the others due to these transformations, where one minute they’ll be fight Sephiroth in his human form and the next he’ll transform into his version of Galian Beast or Death Gigas. And to add Sefikura into it, Cloud absolutely hates that that even when he’s transformed Sephiroth is just as possessive with him as he is when he’s human(which makes Cloud wonder if Sephiroth even has to battle for control like Vincent does). And in the event of Sephiroth kidnapping Cloud and keeping him somewhere where his friends can’t find him, Cloud will have an even harder time trying to escape because of those transformations, like for example Sephiroth’s Galian Beast being faster then him and possibly even able to track his scent would easily find him and drag him back to their “nest”. It’s pretty much be a twisted version of Beauty and the Beast, where not only Beast can turn back into a human whenever he wants, but Beast is both a beast on inside and outside.

Oh, what if Sephiroth used his version of the Galian Beast when he burned down Nibelheim? It would make sense as the Galian Beast is associated with the fire element. I could imagine it would be quite miserable for Vincent seeing Cloud and Tifa flinch/tense anytime he uses his level 1 limit break. He already feels guilty for his transformations, so knowing that a similar transformation (that of his son's!!!) was responsible for so much suffering hurts even more.

Now as for the sefikura ideas:

Sephiroth gets scary possessive when he's in one of his beast forms, mostly since he doesn't bother trying to control his emotions when he's transformed. Being in beast form is a great excuse to let him emotions run wild without being held fully responsible (he's a beast, you can't blame him for being a bit a lot wild!)

I also love the idea of Sephiroth using his transformations to his advantage when keeping Cloud prisoner! The moment he comes back to the 'nest' and notices that Cloud is missing, he transforms into his Galian Beast and follows Cloud's scent. Poor Cloud is lucky to get even a couple hours away from Sephiroth's care, since Sephiroth always tracks him down so quickly.

And Sephiroth is not gentle when it comes to taking Cloud home (though can you blame him? He's a beast who lost his precious doll, hehe.) It's definitely a pretty twisted fairytale: one where the 'villagers' coming to slay the beast are the true heroes.

Monster/Proclivity ⚰️☁️⚰️ @strifentineweek Day 7

Contrary to his own assumptions—based mostly on extreme body dysphoria and self-loathing—Vincent's "condition" gives him a lot to offer to the right partner. Cloud has some unique interests that happen to make him a perfect option in that regard.

I don't think any Strifentine event is complete without a little monsterfucking, so here we are! Nothing visible because I couldn't get a pose that worked, but honestly I'm really happy with this.

Do you think Lucrecia loved Hojo?

That depends on which version of the canon you're asking. OG seems to lean towards yes. Dirge seems to retcon it to where it was a marriage of manipulation/convenience.

Personally, I think Lucrecia gaslit herself into believing she loved Hojo so she wouldn't have to confront her feelings for Vincent. I think Hojo also likely toyed with her emotions and guilt complex until he'd convinced her that she NEEDED him. Which is why she's so shocked when he shows her his real colors after shooting Vincent. Him taking Sephiroth was probably the final straw.
