Or at least, the first day : Blanket. (and also "cold" cause this is from on of my fanfic, Avalanche and in this one, Vincent a zero cold resistance and like to use Cid as a heater.)

Concept art for the graffiti cave as well as Vincent's chamber. Seems obvious they wanted to depict Vincent actually living in the space instead of just sleeping for the past 20+ years. It is a curious change since sleeping away his sins was a huge part of his character. Granted, he still sleeps in a coffin quite a bit. But OG made it look like he had made this chamber his dungeon where he did nothing BUT sleep. But Rebirth showed he's been way more active this time around. In terms of the graffiti cave-- the amount of red letters (probably meant to be blood) and the copious amounts of tattered red cloth (obviously Vincent's) seems to pain a much more vivid story of Vincent's mental state back then. Rebirth's is a lot more dumbed down, at the same time this is more on the nose. But if this isn't meant to show the trauma Vincent was going through (presumably after his initial transformation), then I don't know what does. Very grim... He was literally living in hell. Edit: Seeing these together, however, it makes me wonder if this is by design. Inside, you have a well organized and kinda cozy living space that has a warm classy feel of someone actually living in it. The outside chamber depicts a morbid past of chaos, pain, and horror; conflicting themes, yet tied to what Vincent represents.
