rafe x 𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚's𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭!𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥!𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫
the grand cameron estate glistened under the soft glow of twinkling lights, casting a warm ambiance over the annual charity event.
guests dressed in the finest couture mingled, clinking champagne glasses and exchanging laughter. rafe cameron, leaning against the marble bar, exhaled deeply, scanning the room out of habit rather than interest.
he was used to these events: wealthy people, meaningless small talk, and endless flaunting of status. nothing caught his eye.
until you walked in.
the moment you stepped through the large glass doors, rafe’s attention snapped to you. you weren’t just another guest; you were magnetic, a vision in a sleek, curve-hugging gown that shimmered under the lights. the dress cascaded down your form, accentuating every perfect line, and the way you moved was effortless, a confident grace that could only come from someone used to turning heads.
a victoria’s secret angel. he’d seen your face plastered on billboards and magazines, but in person, you were something else entirely, an intoxicating blend of beauty and power that made him feel out of his depth for the first time in a long time.
you caught him staring, your glossy pink lips curving into a sly smile, knowing the effect you had. instead of looking away, Rafe smirked, raising his glass in a silent toast. he liked a challenge.
it wasn’t long before your paths crossed. you were introduced by a mutual acquaintance, but rafe hardly registered the small talk. his focus was solely on you, your sultry eyes, the subtle scent of your perfume, the way your fingers lightly brushed his arm when you spoke. his skin burned from the brief touch, his pulse quickening with every second in your presence.
"you must be rafe," you said, your voice smooth like honey. "i’ve heard about you."
"only good things, I hope," rafe replied, his voice low, eyes locked onto yours.
you raised an eyebrow. "that depends."
the conversation flowed easily, but there was an undeniable tension between you: electric and charged. with every subtle touch of your hand against his arm, every lingering glance, the room seemed to shrink around you both. the heat of your bodies became impossible to ignore.
at some point, rafe found himself leading you out onto the terrace, where the sounds of the party faded into the background. the night air was cool against your heated skin, but rafe’s hand on the small of your back was warm, steady. his fingers pressed lightly, guiding you closer, and you didn’t resist.
"so, what’s the real reason you’re here tonight?" he asked, his voice thick with curiosity.
you tilted your head, eyes glinting under the moonlight. "same as you, i imagine. to make an impression."
his hand slid lower, his fingers brushing the base of your spine. you didn’t pull away, instead, you stepped closer, your chest grazing his. our breath hitched, but you kept your composure, teasing him with a sly smile.
"you’ve made an impression," he whispered, his lips dangerously close to your ear.
you felt his breath on your neck, sending a shiver down your spine. every inch of your body was aware of how close he was, the heat radiating between you two. your heart raced, but you kept your expression composed, even as his fingers traced the line of your back.
"and what do you plan on doing about it?" you murmured, turning your face toward his, lips nearly brushing his.
rafe’s gaze dropped to your lips, his fingers gripping your waist more firmly now, pulling you flush against him. the space between you had disappeared entirely, and his eyes darkened with an unmistakable hunger.
"i think you know," he said, his voice gravelly, as he leaned in, brushing his lips against your jaw.
you tilted your head back, giving him access, the tension building with every feather-light touch of his lips. his hand slid up, tangling in your hair, tilting your head back to meet his eyes.
“i think you’ll have to show me,” you whispered breathlessly.
rafe didn’t hesitate. he crashed his lips against yours in a searing kiss, his other hand gripping your waist possessively. you melted into him, your hands clutching the front of his shirt as his tongue teased yours, each kiss deeper and more intense than the last.
the world around you dissolved. It was just you and him, the chemistry between you burning hotter with every touch, every kiss. his hands roamed your body, exploring every curve as if he couldn’t get enough of you, and you responded in kind, your body pressing into his as if you needed him to hold you up.
“i’ve never met anyone like you,” rafe murmured against your lips, his hand cupping your cheek now, gentler, but still full of desire.
“good,” you breathed, “because I don’t plan on letting you forget me.”

It's absolutely fit for royalty, isn't it?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Isn't it stunning?
Tumblr media

The home office could also be a library. It has a beautiful fireplace and a loft. And, look at the coffered ceiling.
Tumblr media
It has a great room with a fireplace.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lovely kitchen off the great room. You could really put a dining table in there.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Such an opulent mezzanine.
Tumblr media

Tumblr media

Tumblr media
Check out the trap door in this bedroom.
Tumblr media

Two Fanarts (FW and CB) in two different holidays: Independence Day (Fourth of July) and Tanabata (a Japanese holiday). I know both of these two holidays were already passed a month ago - 4th of July and Tanabata (July 7th), but it’s better late than never.
Hope you had a good Independence Day - Mine was good because my family and I went out to stay at my brother’s house for Independence Day/Summer vacation. ;)
1. FW in Independence Day/4th of July theme:
Victor F and Elsa were watching at the fireworks together, while they were both sitting on a picnic blanket outside (Yep, Elsa’s hand placed on Victor F’s hand). The rest of the kids (Bob, Nassor, Toshiaki, Weird Girl, and Edgar) were also watching at the fireworks. The children were amazed to see the fireworks on Independence Day night. (As for the dogs, Sparky and Persephone, they were inside at Victor F’s house together (after all, some dogs can be scared with fireworks)).
Pardon the picnic blanket - I tried my best while I looked up on a pattern for references. I also looked over the 4th of July picnic and fireworks for references from online. As for Elsa and Victor F’s Summer clothings - they were referenced from children’s vintage clothings (mostly 1950’s) that I looked up from online.
2. CB in Tanabata theme:
Victor VD and Victoria were watching the stars together at night - they were at the bridge outside from town. They were so amazed that they saw two big, bright stars together - represent Vega and Altair (Orihime and Hikoboshi).
Tanabata (meaning “Star Festival”) is a Japanese holiday that celebrates every seventh day on a seventh month (July 7). It was originated from a Japanese myth, Orihime and Hikoboshi (Vega and Altair) - about two lovers who were separated by the Milky Way (so, you can say that the couple were “star-crossed” lovers). So, every July 7th, the princess and the cow herder can reunite together by crossing the bridge (made by magpies) once a year. In tradition, people in Japan write their own wishes on colored papers, and then hang them on bamboo trees. The paper wishes were called “tanzaku.”
Even though these CB characters lived in Europe (England), I’m imagining that Victor VD and Victoria both read the tale of “Orihime and Hikoboshi” from the book of Japanese myths and folklores. Then much later on, they both go out at the bridge to look at the stars at night - to see the stars of Vega and Altair (And how about that? A Victorian couple were on a bridge to watch the stars - while the Japanese legend mentioned the bridge for a star-crossed lovers to across the Milky Way. Get the picture when it comes with bridges?).
Originally the background’s stars (in white) were going to be in different shapes and sizes - tiny dots and star shapes (small and large). However, I didn’t wanted the background’s stars to be mistaken as snowflakes. Then, much later on, I upgraded the background into a Starry -Night style (referenced from Vincent Van Gogh’s “Starry Night” - and even the “Cafe Terrace at Night” ) with few different colors (white, light blue, dark blue, and yellow).
Done with drawing pencils, art markers (Prismacolor, Copic, Fabre-Castell), color pencils, ink pens (including ink brush pen), and Posca markers. Enjoy.

October 21st* 1971 saw an explosion at Clarkston Toll shopping centre.
*You would think in the modern age we would be more accurate with dates for things like this, but no, some sources say the 20th of October.
Few remember the Clarkston Toll disaster, when an explosion, the equivalent of a 1,000lb bomb, reduced a row of shops to rubble. Twenty women and two men died in what was one of Scotland’s worst peace-time disasters. While some dark days continue to catch the eye, others are quietly filed away and forgotten.
For three days, prior to the disaster, a strong smell of gas had been noticed by both customers and staff of the shops at Clarkston Toll. The gas company had been called out and spent the previous night digging up the road in search of the source of the leak. On the morning of 21 October, the 26 shops that made up the Clarkston Toll centre were given the all-clear.
The force of the blast blew out the front of 10 shops and ripped the heart out of the modern shopping centre. A passing bus took the full force of the blast. One passenger died instantly. All the others were badly injured. More than half the shops simply disappeared. The car park above the shopping terrace collapsed, with more than 20 vehicles adding to the debris. The rescuers toiled on through that night and the whole of the following day. Passing pedestrians joined police and firemen desperately tearing at rubble.
More than 100 police officers and 20 fire-brigade units, and every available ambulance in Glasgow was called to the scene. They transferred casualties to the Victoria Infirmary and Hairmyres, where every available doctor and nurse was called in for duty, helped by colleagues from as far afield as Dumbarton, Glasgow, and Paisley.

Plant of the Day
Thursday 20 July 2023
In this terraced hotel garden, on Shetland, the flowers of oriental poppies were providing colourful splashes of red and pink. The single, bowl-shaped, salmon-pink flowers were Papaver (Oriental Group) 'Prinzessin Victoria Louise' (oriental poppy) which is a vigorous clump forming perennial. These poppies are summer deciduous after flowering.

Osborne House
Hace un instante
Hi guys!!
I'm sharing Osborne House . This is the 11th building for my English Collection.
This was also a request from one of my patreons, so I hope it does not desapoint.
History of the house: In 1843 Queen Victoria and Prince Albert were looking for a seaside retreat for their growing family to escape the pressures of London and Windsor. The Osborne estate, then owned by Lady Isabella Blachford, was recommended to them by the Prime Minister, Sir Robert Peel (1788–1850).
The estate was initially leased, then bought in May 1845 for £28,000. As the existing house was too small, an extension was required. Queen Victoria and Prince Albert did not want to be restricted by the Department of Woods and Forests, which was then in charge of all government building, so Prince Albert bypassed the department’s architects. Instead he commissioned Thomas Cubitt (1788–1855), the master builder and developer of much of the Duke of Westminster’s Belgravia estate in London, to advise him.
Cubitt recommended that rather than alter the old house it would be best to build a new one, and proceeded to design it in collaboration with Prince Albert.
OSBORNE TAKES SHAPE
The first phase of building was completed in 1846 with the Pavilion, housing the private rooms of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert and the royal nurseries. The household wing, containing accommodation for members of the royal household who accompanied Queen Victoria to Osborne, was completed in 1848.
After the old house was demolished in 1848, the main wing, completed in 1851, was built on its site, and was linked by a long corridor to the household wing. The main wing was used initially by the royal children. The terraces on the north-east side of the Pavilion and main wing were designed to complement the house and are filled with the signature features of classical Italian gardens.
Neighbouring Barton Manor was thoroughly ‘restored’ by Cubitt and its outbuildings were organised as a model farm. Other building projects included estate cottages and lodges, a dormitory for male servants, and a landing house for the coastguard, with a sea wall along the coastal edge of the estate.
For more info: https://www.english-heritage.org.uk/visit/places/osborne/history-and-stories/history/#:~:text=Queen%20Victoria%20and%20Prince%20Albert,after%20Albert's%20death%20in%201861.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This house fits a 64x64 lot and was downsized to fit, so it lost some of its glamour.
It is not furnished except for the state rooms and some private bedrooms (for pictures and reference), as it was requested for that purpose.
Hope you like it.
