Give me fic where Bruce realised that he misses the little pre JL greet up back pats or the momentarily blissful hugs from superman after life and death fights. But everytime superman does that he would always be met by fake disapproving bat grunting. Add to the mix Lois and Diana dating and Lois shares Clark rambling about how batman hates him. And to spice things up hal Jordan who no one knows how overhears the convo and goes like it would be funny if supes stops being handsy with spooky and him actually missing it. There was moment of silence before Diana and Lois looked at eachother with wide eyes and then at Hal and all hell broke loose. Starting the mission "make spooky ask his supes for hugs".

I know that superman and lois was always going to be a family drama show but I still hold out hope that one day there is a show about superman that explores all the messed up horrors of kyrptonian biology. There are so many stories about all the kryptonian experiments and I think its a missed opportunity to show how that affects Clark (especially if you consider how in some stories he isn’t conceived the typical kryptonian way) and then how it affects his hybrid sons who were definitely not planned. 

Its just the refusal to explore this side of their heritage and instead focusing on powers=kyrptonian. I just want the horror and the science!

A Day in Life: Love Pollen

Synopsis: A day in your life where you get hit with love pollen, get kidnapped, and are rescued by the Justice League.

The Legion of Doom had a plan. They invaded a political event in Metropolis, with the presence of the Justice League as the president’s security team, the League being the target. First, Poison Ivy release pollen throughout the whole city, as a distraction, making people hallucinate that they were in love with one another. Crazy in love. It would be okay, if her experiment didn't cause chaos. All over the streets, some people were having sex out in the open, some were fighting and killing because of jealousy and cheating, some were committing robberies to give their “loved ones”. It was pure chaos and only the quick reflexes, powers and gadgets from the League spared the team from getting hit.

Half the team went to deal with the distraction, saving and restraining people, giving them the antidote, etc. The other half, took care of the villains. After a few hours, the Legion of Doom was taken down and the city’s security and health workers took over the job, the chaos being a lot easier to contain since they were spreading the antidote through the air, it would take at least an hour to spread it throughout the whole city, and then the ones who somehow weren't able to breath it, but mostly, just the mess left behind was the real issue.

You were standing with the rest of the crew on the event, watching the League and the politicians discoursing for the press and TV. When the mayhem started, for the first few seconds, you got startled and froze. Looking between the League, the scared crowd, and the villains invading the place. Suddenly, you breathed some thick smoke and your eyes shot to the heroes, silently urging them to do something, when your eyes locked on Green Lantern’s, the pollen’s effect kicked in. You got dizzy, something snapped, and then everything changed.

Wait, when did Green Lantern's jaw got so sharp? And his muscles so defined? Oh, and he was so big and tall. Did he do something to his hair? Wow, his ring is glowing now and he's flying. He's so cool and powerful. A true hero. Shit, he's coming in my direction. Hehe, he's using a construct to lift me and my coworkers to a safer place as if it was nothing. Imagine flying with him every day. How does he look without the mask? Ugh, must be perfect, if his jaw and lips were anything to go by. I can't even see the color of his eyes! And- and please stop looking me in the eyes and touching my shoulders and asking me if I'm okay, of course I am, I'm with you. No. Nooo. Come back here! Let the others deal with the bad guys, I'm right hereee! Nooooo!

You were depressed and deflated the whole time your soulmate was away. A journalist team from outside the city arrived at some point and you were able to watch the fight — Normally, Lois Lane would do the transmission, but she's too busy making out with her cameraman, she was in the crowd too. —. You started crying watching your lover fighting with Sinestro. When he won, and everything was fine, was when you finally calmed down and just started anxiously waiting while ignoring your colleagues strange antics, one of them even hitting on you. Didn't she know you and Green Lantern were in love?

When the League was back, the paramedics were starting to give the crew the antidote, you were next in line, however, as soon as you saw the heroes, you broke into a sprint.

— Green! — You yelled, catching everyone off guard. Even more so when you jumped and hooked your legs around the brunette’s waist, your arms around his neck, and kissed him passionately.

Hal was so shocked that it took him two seconds to reciprocate the kiss, ignoring completely the gasps from his friends. You moaned against his lips, mumbling a jumbled mess of “I love you”, “I missed you”, “was so worried”, “so glad you're back”.

Someone groaned.

— Batman, just give them that damn antidote before I lose it. — Batman grunted and Hal struggled but managed to separate your faces for a moment. You tried to push your face towards his again, but he grabbed your jaw. You kept forcing your face against his hand and whining. It was really cute, and your willingness and the previous sensation of your lips ignited something in his belly, yet, he looked to the side just in time to see Batman preparing the needle, the rest of the League sulking on the side and glaring at him.

His mind worked rapidly, ignoring the texture of your soft lips pampering kisses against the skin of his hand. When he felt the tip of your tongue, he made a decision.

A bad one.

— Yeah. I don't think so. — Green Lantern conjured several chain constructs, chaining the League's arms and ankles to the ground. It wouldn't hold off the ones like Superman and Wonder Woman who were strong enough to break it, and Martian Manhunter who could just invade his mind or use his intangibility, Flash was also pretty capable of taking him on, but Hal was smart and sagacious. Still holding you, he made a rocket construct around you both and took off.

Really, a terrible idea.

Superman and Wonder Woman, in a cry of rage, broke the chains. Diana unsheathed her sword, her feet not even touching the ground anymore, flying, ready to go after the traitor. Martian passed through the construct, while Superman went to break Batman and Aquaman free, Flash vibrated fast to rearrange his particles and also escaped.

— We need a plan. — Batman’s voice stopped the amazon warrior from going in a hunt for blood. He was already stressing over what the marketing team could do to fix this.

— A plan? We can defeat the enemy and retreat my darling if we go now! — Wonder Woman barked.

— Green Lantern is impulsive. If we go now we can destroy the whole state and hurt (Y/N) in the process. He won't give them up easily.

— Batman's right. — Superman agreeds. — Flash, follow them and see where they’re going. — The speedster nodded and took off.

Barry shook his head, cursing his idiot best friend the whole way.

Between the whole team, Hal was clearly the only one who would be okay with you falsely loving them. The rest wanted something more genuine for you. Some of them would settle for you not loving them as much as they loved you, some wanted you to feel exactly the same amount of what they felt. Hal still loved you just like them, but he always had that certain level of insecurity that craved to be better than anyone, to impress, making everything a competition, and the sensation of being the only one to have you could certainly cloud his judgment and accept your love, even if fake. He just thought he could compensate by treating you the right way, and not just using that opportunity to do whatever he wanted with you, just because he could and you wouldn't complain. He could make this about you both, and not just about him.

Either way, every one of them (thought) they deserved their fair chance at winning you over.

— Manhunter, can you still read his mind and tell what he is thinking? — Manhunter nodded and his eyes started glowing, there was a second of silence before he spoke.

— It's getting weaker as he gets more distant. It's purely impulsive thinking. Green Lantern isn't considering the consequences and means no harm against Earth or us. — Batman nodds.

— That's a shame. I mean harm. — Wonder Woman mutters, Batman glared and Superman side-eyed her. Batman turned his communication on.

— Flash, tell us when they stop moving.

— If he touches them, I will personally kill him. — Aquaman darkly states. Superman took a step in his direction, facing him head on.

— No, you won't. — The two stared at one another intently, until Batman broke the silence.

— Focus. We don't have time for this. — The dark knight stated.

— We need to be collected and work as a team to act smoothly on our plan. — Martian reminds them. Wonder Woman steps down again and sheats her sword. They all form a circle and start planning.

The sky was never this blue and the sand never this warm and soft. Even with the warmth of the sun being so intense, you were laying on a palm tree's shadow, and the air was flowing just fine. What was actually making you sweat was the dry humping you and your soulmate were doing.

You don't remember ever getting so aroused in your whole life, and can't remember ever desiring someone so much. You could kill someone if they dared to try and steal him away from you.

Hal felt you carding your fingers through his hair and pull slightly, giving him shiver, and he squeezed the flesh of your hips. You moaned against his lips at a particularly stronger wave of pleasure. The clothes were a curse, stopping you from feeling the real him, so you desperately started clawing at his clothes. Green Lantern breathily chuckled.

— Relax, hot stuff, we have time… — He whispers with a smirk. The man held your hands and laid them on the ground, above your head. You just moaned, more needy, and pushed your hips against his, eliciting a hiss from his red and swollen lips.

His hands started unbottoning your shirt and freeing the fabric out of your pants. You kept your hands were they were and watched, eyes wide open, when he descended kisses from the middle of your chest, going south, only pausing at your waistband.

As much as you wanted to feel his mouth more, seeing him so covered and not being able to properly touch him was making you restless, so you sat up, surprising him, and started pulling up the fabric at the back of his neck. Hal chuckled and shook his head, humoring your needs. He helped you take it off, then pushed your own shirt down your arms, until it was off.

You paused, admiring his adonis body. Your heart raced and eyes watered, never having seen something so perfect your whole life. Even his scars were beautiful. His chest hair and happy trail looked really soft and somehow he looked even more muscled, strong and beautiful. You wonder why you rejected him before.

Hal Jordan basked in your amazed gaze, loving to show off, especially while doing nothing. He frowned weakly, and gave a reassuring grin when you pouted, slumped and frowned.

— What's this, sweetheart? I thought you were enjoying this. — To lift your mood, he started running his hands up and down your sides.

— I wanted to see your face… — Hal remained silent for a few seconds. They would tell you their identities eventually, and that fact kept being brought up on reunions. They all knew at some point, you would have to know, to really start a relationship, yet, Batman, and his paranoia, kept them all from telling you. Sometimes, it felt like a sabotage, but mostly, it made sense, since the guy had a bunch of kids, who could be in danger if the information somehow got leaked, still, you couldn't trust to let them in, if they didn't let you in. That was the only reason you didn't trust them, of course.

Also, a face was not a name. Hal wasn't famous, so how bad could it be? Especially if it would turn you on so much, and when you looked so damn cute. His own lust was also influencing his critical thinking, which was already second place to his impulsiveness.

Hal bit his lower lip and brought his face closer to yours, a few centimeters away from having your noses touching.

— Okay… Take it off… — You let out a happy squeal and reached up with both hands. Your heart pounded with anticipation, making you go slower to savor the intimacy even more. Hal closed his eyes when he felt the gentle tug, against his wishes to watch your eagerness and your lip biting in anticipation. His heart was also pounding.

You saw his right eye closed and his thick eyebrow, when suddenly, a loud noise rang out, scaring the shit out of you and prompting Hal to fix the mask again, get up and assess for danger.

He finally fell to his senses and realized something.

He just took the worst decisions ever.

Everything happened too fast. Flash was on your side, holding a needle to your arm, and Green Lantern was being thrown around by a red and blue blur. Only the feminine rageful scream gave you the hint to who it was.

You got up, ready to die for your soulmate, when the antidote kicked in.

You threw up.

“Hi, I’m Lois,” Jordan says, using the fake name she rests on in the rare times she decides to be a girl in public. “I’m a really big fan.”

“Lois? Right. Hi, it’s great to meet you,” Marie says.

Jordan smiles at her, and man do they look amazing, their hair falling in loose waves around their face, their breasts sitting confidently in a loose black tank top “Don’t tell the other guardians,” they continue, “But you’re like the best one.”

“You’re very sweet, and I love that top on you."

“Yeah?” 

“Yeah, you look great.” Marie wants to kiss them, she wants to sweep the dishes and candles off of the table, lay them down and kiss the crap out of them right here. She wants it so bad that it chews her apart inside. She doesn’t know how well she’s hiding it either, staring into Jordan’s warm, dark eyes with the intensity of a telekinetic trying to bend a crowbar. She should be mad as hell at them for coming here just to spy on her, but she can’t because she just wants to kiss them so so hard.

“Um excuse me, am I interrupting something?” Jonas interjects, but Marie still doesn’t pull her eyes away from Jordan, her person no matter what the papers say.

“Not at all,” Marie says, "Hey can you be a doll and go buy Lois a drink?”

“7&7,” Jordan adds.

“Oh, so it’s that kinda party I see?” Jonas says, the excitement in his voice climbing. “Sure thing gorgeous.” He winks at the two of them and stands up to make a beeline for the bar.

“Come on let’s get the fuck out of here,” Jordan take her hand and leads her out of the restaurant, a few stray glances and camera clicks catching them on their way out. This is probably a mistake, probably something Ashley will ream them for in the morning. She’ll cross that bridge when she gets to it, because there’s no way she’s spending another five minutes with this clown.

They make it to the closest alley, and Jordan places their hand on Marie’s waist to lead her into the safety of the dark. When Jordan starts to kiss her against the brick wall, the traces of anxiety and rage that had built up start to dissipate and float away.

“How long were you watching?” Marie asks, basically sighing into Jordan’s mouth.

“Long enough to know you weren’t cool with any of that. What did he say to you? If you want me to go back in and beat that guy's ass I will.”

“No, just kiss me again,” She says, and they do.

“This is stupid,” Marie says after a few minutes, coming up for another quick breath of air. Meanwhile Jordan's proceeding to scatter unruly kisses up and down her throat “We’re supposed to be broken up.”

“You and Fortress are broken up,” Jordan commas the statement with another firm, quick taste of her mouth. “Not you and me.”

“You’re sure?’

“God I’m so fucking sure,” Jordan says. Marie’s heart races as their tongue touches hers. And she can sense how fast Jordan’s is racing too. It’s not the thrill of sneaking around that does it, it’s just what they do to each other, even after five years. 

And really, it’s a brilliant idea. Women kiss each other all of the time for all sorts of reasons, or at least that’s a popular assumption. If anyone catches them they can chalk it up to that. 

“I hate seeing you with someone else,” Jordan says, reaching under her dress to touch her in a way that makes her breath catch. “Even if it’s fake, I hate it.”

“I love you,” Marie takes Jordan’s face between her hands and dives in again. And they make out against the wall long enough to forget where they are, to forget the rules, to forget everything.

“Can I take you home and fuck you now?” Jordan says, and presses another assertive kiss on the pulse of her neck. “Hmm?”

“Yes, please.”

Superman and Lois HCs - Superpowers and Hybrids

 Kryptonians

Kryptonians on Krypton are almost twice as strong as humans.

Under the yellow sun, Kryptonians gain bio-aura, which grants them their invulnerablitly and most of their strenght. This strength is telekinetic, not muscle based. 

Without the bio-aura, Kryptonians under the Yellow sun would be 20x stronger than humans.

Some Kryptonians had psychic powers, which, with proper training, could allow them to telepathically communicate with each other.

Kryptonian bodies produce their own vitamin C, meaning they don’t need to get it through ingesting it. 

Jon

 Jon has those powers, but they are weak and untrained, so no one notices anything. Jon doesn't even know he might inherit them, so he doesn’t look for any signs he has them, or actively try and awaken them. 

But then his cell starts absorbing and processing sunlight like Kryptonian cell do, which amplifies his powers. 

The different wiring in Jon’s brain that makes him psychic, also causes his bio-aura to work differently. He can control his bio-aura in ways other Kryptonians can’t. This gives him “tactile telekinesis”.

Jon can turn his bio-aura on and off at will, and “move it around”, so it is concentrated on a certain place on his body, instead of covering all of him (so instead of x level of protection covering all his body, he could have 2x level of protection in the front).

He can also strech his  bio-aura to other people he is touching.

He can also use it to eject things, allowing him to mimic punching people with super strength, or simply repelling things that touch him. 

Jon can also “grab” things, allowing him to move and mold them. 

Jon learns to “move” his bio-aura through solid matter, and eventually liquids and air. 

Jon can use his bio-aura as a sonar of some sort, and sense his surroundings.

As Jon’s powers grow, he is able to move his bio-aura further away from him. Because of this, and his abilitly to extend his bio-aura through air, his tactile telekinesis eventually evolves into regular telekinesis.

Once his powers have fully developed, Jon has psychich powers, telekinesis, and all of Clark’s powers, apart from superhearing.

Due to subtle differences in how Jon’s inner ear and brain functions, Jon doesn’t develope super hearing.

Even when Jon’s bio-aura is off, he is still 10x stronger than a regular human, once his powers are fully developed. This strenght comes from his muscles, not telekinesis. 

Jordan

Due to his auditory system being slightly different than that of a human, Jordan was more sensitive to sound than the average kid, even before his kicked in. This means he became easily overwhelmed in crowded spaces. This, combined with his personality, made socialising hard.

Haven’t decided if I hc Jordan was misdiagnosed, or not, but it was a combination of his personality, sensitivity to sounds, and bullying that made social interactions so difficult to him.

While Jordan learning to manage his mental health issues is mostly due to therapy and the events of s1, but as his powers came in, his brain chemistry also balanced out a bit, which helped a little. It still didn’t undo the effects years of chronic stress had on his brain though. 

Both brothers

Due to Jon’s and Jordan’s cells’ absorbing and storing more energy than human cells, they can go for a couple of weeks without food, before being noticably affected by it.

Neither of them need to ingest vitamin C, D, or E, since the their Kryptonian bodies produces vitamin C, and the way their cell’s processes yellow sunlight removes the need for vitamin D and E.

They can also both get by on considerably less sleep than most other humans.

My Review of S&L thus far, and looking ahead.

Hey guys 3 weeks till Superman & Lois returns, and so I wanted to post my review on the series thus far, and my hopes for the upcoming season. 

Season 1

The show starts of with Clark’s backstory which I loved. I love the dorky take on superman which we haven’t seen in a while. Then it cuts to now them being the parents of teenagers. I like the casting right off the bat. Alex looks a lot like Tyler, and Jordan looks a lot like Bitsie. The dynamic of the twins was pretty interesting. I was under the impression that they would be like a mini Lois and clark. It was cool that they added some individuality to them. It gave depth to their characters. After this and another scene,  Clark returns to Smallville when his mom passes. I applaud Tylers performance for the death scene because its shows how it feels to lose someone in the superhuman way. How he listened to his moms heart beat as it slowed, was a beautiful touch. Moving to the funeral/wake scene. I like the entrance to the lang family (especially the savage response from Lana’s youngest). The scene in the barn tho. I shipped Jordan and Sarah after seeing their banter, and was left curious about Jon and Sarah since there was chemistry there too. The twins saving each other though after the polls fell was beautiful it showed their brotherly love. It was great how they had the family move to smallville. It showed the deep connections to clarks roots. The season really started off with a bang. It was beautiful how they bring to light the issues of grief and mental health issues. The scene where Lois miscarriage was revealed was beautifully written and done. How they had the therapy scene especially with the saying, “ this happened to you not because of anything you did.” That in itself is something beautiful that people should remember when dealing with trauma that brings feelings of self hate/loathing. The stories they make for their characters are so good for example with their villain. Tal was a good one because it showed how some villains aren't just automatically evil. It’s a good reminder that when people are hurt deeply and in the worst ways, good people can do bad things too. We see this with tal’s character. He was a little boy who lost his people, and he cared for them. he was a victim of horrible cruelty and lack of love.  He was someone who just wanted a family. The way he spoke to Clark/Kal. He had love for his brother. We also see this with Jon and how he deals with having to move to smallville and things not being easy. Showing how when a child or teen misbehaves it’s an indicator that they might be going through something. Also with John Henry irons. He lost his family in another world and his grief causes him to almost destroy another and the redemption he has that show some people just need a second chance is amazing. Overall the way the story was told and the action scenes where amazing. The show does have beautiful cinematography.

Season 2:

This season was in the middle. Like there was good written and done scenes, but others could have been better. 

So to start, the previous season ended with Jon Henry irons daughter showing up. We see that Lois has been dealing with some bad feelings. Things have been tense in the Kent home. We also see some changes in characters and new people. Jordan and Sarah hit a rode bump when she kissed another girl while away at camp. I hate what they did to them because it’s like they copy the season 1 thing. Sarah seem so beautifully written in s1 I honestly don’t know why they did this to her character. Continuing,  Jon gets a new girlfriend, and things at home boil over  when Jon tries to get lucky while home alone. It is revealed that Lois has been dealing with trauma of being abandoned by her mom. Feeling that came back when she did not react the way she wanted to towards Natalie. I love Lois’ scene because they bring important issues to light in a beautiful way. Fast forward nat and her dad move to smallville. Things still are rocky due to clark getting these super migraines because a bizarre version has come into their world. I love their take on bizarro. Jon’s storyline through me off. Like he was this rare one a kind super nice and modest person who didn’t let bad things hold him down. Then they threw that all to shit with him using drugs. Not to mention clark sucking at being his dad. Like the boy needs love real bad. I hate what they did with the girlfriend. I mean I got bad vibes in the beginning when she copied and pasted what clark was telling Jon to support him during the struggle with not being able to play football. As well there were like 5 or more reasons that made her a toxic girlfriend/walking red flag. So the fact that she got a second chance with Jon was mind boggling, and kind of shows a big concern with Jon continually committing self destructive behaviors. On Another note,  It was great with how they Brought in Jon-el. This opposite version of him. It show how Jon being the way he is and his heart is important. Moving on to the main bad guy, ally was pretty cool her storyline showed that truly no villain is a match with superman. Overall it was a great but certain storylines could have been better written.

Looking Ahead: Season 3: 

So right of the bat, as we all know Jordan Elsass Got recast and Michael Clive Bishop has joined the cast. Im excited to see his portrayal of Jon. I'm wondering if they are kind of doing a smallville s3 storyline with him. For those who haven’t watched smallville or have forgotten, in the prequel series of Superman’s story before he became superman, Clark dates a drug dealer who gives him red kryptonite. So the Red-k is like Xk, and well clark stays with the drug dealer for another season, but by the end of it she shows she had not really changed or shall I say it is revealed that it was easy for her to fall into bad habits, and ultimately she was killed by the people supplying/ making the drug. So for S&L Im wondering if they will use that storyline for Jon. Kinda hoping Jon gets powers or gets weapons and/or some sort of training. As for the others, I’m looking forward to seeing how the reveals of the superman secret have changed the relationships in the show.

1. What is the biggest headcanon deviation from the canon material that you have incorporated into the way you write your muse? Why did you come up with it?

I don't think I've so much done headcanon deviation as much as I've just borrowed from multiple canons.

The only thing I can think of is a small piece of divergence I chose to make from Superman & Lois -- in that series, Clark is fired from the Daily Planet a few days before his sons find out that he's Superman. I've decided that I much prefer Clark resigning after they find out because he needs to give it up to spend more time with them.

3. What is something that was never addressed at all in the canon material that you have independently developed for your muse?

Clark deliberately putting on a bit of an act as Superman. That's not something touched on in the canons I'm familiar with, at least -- it usually goes the other way around, with him putting on a bit of an act as Clark. My Adventures with Superman touches on it a little bit, with Clark clearly putting on a slightly deeper voice as Supes (especially in the first few episodes as he's still figuring it out), but that series came out after I added that, so...

5. What is an aspect of your muse’s canon material or canon existence that you never had the opportunity to explore but really want to?

I'd love to write more of Clark's childhood in Smallville (with Lana especially), and more of Clark's time wandering and exploring the Earth. I think it would be fascinating if that's when he first meets Bruce, who's having his own pre-Batman journey.

13. What canon character do you really wish your muse could interact more with?

Lois Joanne Lane. Also Lana Lang, Kara Danvers, and any of the Kent kids.

hi sorry I can't stop thinking about this episode lol

They covered the topic of mental health really well and a bit differently in both Sarah and Jordan's situations which I really liked. Like with Sarah, her symptoms and situation felt sincere, like this gut wrenching feeling of getting sucked into the thought of having no future with no possible way out. And the fact that Lana was clearly familiar with these signs and tried to do everything she could to help pull Sarah out of it, only to ask Kyle step in and share his lowest points to convince Sarah that there is always a chance for redemption and getting better. Now do I think a part time job is going to fix everything for her? No, but it's a step and in glad they acknowledged that.

Now to Jordan. Him being overwhelmed with his mom's surgery and everything was something I was waiting for in this season. I felt like they really haven't touched much on his mental health since like the first season so I was glad they brought it back for this episode at least, especially with something as serious as Lois' surgery. The panic he feels mixed with gaining an ability he can't control was done perfectly and ramped up the anxiety (the background audio in this scene helped make us feel Jordan's increasing panic and man did they do a good job). This scene was by far my favorite. Jon comes in to help, like he did when they were younger, familiar with Jordan's anxiety, and my favorite was that even though Clark was there and this was an issue that he could have helped with because of his experience with gaining x-ray vision, Jon was the one to pull Jordan out of it. The writers made it seem like Clark wasn't really around when Jordan had his mental health episodes and missed therapy with him often because of superman stuff so even though this situation was being fueled by a new power developing, Jon was more familiar with calming Jordan down. Even after, when talking to Jordan about it, Jon tells him he needs to relax and even puts perspective on how he should be viewing his powers. This moment really showed that Jon has to deal with stuff on his own without the aid of powers, but he'll always be there for his brother.

The dynamic between the Mannheims was done really well, Matteo's fear of losing his mother yet also of crossing a moral line, Bruno's desperation, and Peia's acceptance of her situation. The ending was really touching and heartbreaking but I think it was perfect. Bruno's only reason for doing all this was gone and Matteo is at a point where he's gonna get a fresh start after the devastating loss.

Anyway I just really liked the episode and had to get it out somewhere so sorry for the rant lol

i think this episode (3x11) might be my favorite of this season

what's earth 11 hal and carol

ok so earth 11 is sort of similar to earth-11! don't really like to use the term genderswap, but everyone knows what i mean when i say that, so earth-11 is the genderswap au earth. earth 11 is based off of earth-11 in that they play around with roles a little bit. In this world, they flip the genders for most of the characters, with Superman and Lois being Superwoman and Louis for example.

They did not do this with Hal and Carol. Carol Ferris is now Carol Jordan, and she's a Star Sapphire which are now the Earth 11 version of GLs. Hal Jordan is now Hal Ferris, and he's a GL, which are now the Earth 11 version of Star Sapphires. Putting this under a read more because i talked too much as per usual.

Are you confused yet? Lol. Anyways, so what this role swap means is that the GL corps, having taken the role of star sapphires, are now raging misogynists. Hal Ferris literally has misogyny listed on the wikia as one of his traits. Since he's taken Carol's role, he's the one that's obsessed with marriage and constantly harassing Carol about getting married. Hal. The guy that literally ran away when he got proposed to. Hal "afraid of marriage" Jordan.

Not touching that with a ten-foot pole other than to say that this means that this earth has not one, but two versions of Carol and no Hals. Literally both of those characters are just Carol now but one of them is worse than the other.

Keeping Carol in her usual role and just changing her gender a bit could have been a critique on the misogynistic way she was written in the earlier comics. (Which, granted, is pretty much what they did with the earth 11 version of Hal and the GL corps but like. That's not Hal.) They also could have explored how her relationship with her father would have changed, since he always wanted a son instead of a daughter.

Hal could have been kept the same but now he has fatter boobs. Or they could have explored the genderqueer aspects of his identity. Literally anything other than making him Carol 2. Begging someone (not geoff) to please please explore his gender identity as established in Spectre (2001). please.
