i could talk about the parallels between the dreemurr siblings and the skeleton brothers and how one is more reserved and is closely related to your choices and willing to make the hard choices that their brothers can't while the other is more energetic and refuses to kill even in the face of certain death and is closely tied to belief and hope and how both are so extremely codependent and how the dreemurrs were doomed because of it but the skeletons avoid their fate
but instead i'll just say that chara and sans are joined in "my brother is the coolest" solidarity

#:)#art#digital art#not much to say about this one#jk its me *cracks knuckles* time to write an essay- anyway some warnings#cw animal death#cw pet death#(for those who may be concerned this is NOT about Toby - toby is alive and well!)#I remember in his last year we went star gazing together#not really tho#I went stargazing cuz there was a meteor shower that night#he followed me outside because he is sweet like that#and I live on a ranch so like any ranch there's a lot of those lil gravel paths#and the best view of the stars is one one of these next to the fire pit so I grab my chair and head out there#sweet boy is so old and tired that when I move onto the gravel he hesitates#he doesn't want that roughness under his paws but he still wants to be outside with me#so he walks to the edge of the grass and sits as close as possible to me without having to be on the gravel#that broke me#I knew his time was close but he used to sprint so fast across the gravel to greet me-#I- of course- move to the edge of the grass as well and join him#sweet boy got all the pets and kisses he wanted#and we stargazed together one last time#so this is kinda like that#featuring my sweetest boy on his own chair#stargazing in the soft grass from wherever he is#ily forever sweetboy
