No me creo ni una palabra sobre la referencia a Gatsby, de hecho, no sé de dónde salió, pero este solo frame ya es especial por sí solo, porque debió ser duro para Serena. Incluso la forma en la que dice "Satoshi" es demasiado dulce y lleno de sorpresa. En XYZ dijo adiós a Ash creyendo que no lo vería de nuevo sino hasta mucho tiempo después, pero no fue así. Se mostró feliz, le deseó lo mejor, y la mirada de ambos estaban tan llenas de cosas no dichas que se puede ver que evolucionaron el enamoramiento de Serena a algo menos emocional y más íntimo. Esta escena fue nuestro final deseado sin que lo notemos: Es canon que ambos de verdad se quieren, se pudo ver en la forma en la que se miraron y se hablaron en esta escena.
