Around a month ago, I finally made the decision to buy Loop Earplugs, and so far they've been a lifesaver. Not only are my sensory nightmares getting better, but also I can SLEEP on long travels, which was never a possibility for me before! Truly magnificent!

Hot take: asexuals (especially teenagers) saying "sex is gross" to express that they find sex unpleasant on a sensory level, are not at all the same as reactionary sex-negative neopuritans who think sex is immoral and want to legislate their feelings. Intentionally seek out the stories that come from those who have a different perspective from yourself, and you will learn so much about the world and the people who inhabit it, not to mention you'll encounter some absolute bangers that you may have never heard of because of the publishing industry's prioritization of majority voices over minorities. Read authors of color, read queer authors, read indie and self published authors, I promise that whatever kind of stories you like to read, there are hundreds of amazing stories out there by a beautiful and diverse pool of authors, you just have to look for them.
