There is this idea of looking good which is fine and then there is this idea of 'feeling beautiful from the inside.' That moment when you appreciate something in yourself - it could be something really small - like the kindness you show to some random stranger in the street, or perhaps being lenient with someone that owes you a debt, or handling calmly a complex situation. I feel a person's real beauty has more to do with their intrinsic qualities than their physical features. And even before we are admired by someone else's eyes, we must catch a glimpse of our own inner beauty. When you have validated and appreciated yourself enough, you wouldn't be so desperate for attention from the outside. The right one will anyway see you, even if you've hid yourself in a locked dark room..
