I'm not sure why crispy chickpeas aren't everywhere as like a top ADHD snack because they are:
Delicious (so you will actually seek them out/want to eat them)
Crispy (a good stim for texture people)
Easy to make (super hands off, they just roast for like 30 minutes while you do something else)
Healthy (it's literally just beans! Such protein!)
Versatile (you can switch up the seasonings if you get tired of one flavor; you can also put them on/in a bunch of different dishes)
Cheap AF & forgiving of your timeline (a can of chickpeas won't go bad in your pantry if you don't have the energy to make something with them this week)
So here's the resippy.
Cooked chickpeas (I usually use one can)
Olive oil
Salt
Paprika or curry powder or rosemary or your favorite spice (optional)
Steps:
Drain and rinse your chickpeas.
Dump them onto a towel or paper towel and rub them dry a bit.
Remove any loose skins. If you're feeling extra you can remove all the skins; this makes them slightly crispier. I do not find this to be worth it.
Put them on a baking sheet (lined with parchment paper if you want to save yourself some cleanup). Toss with a drizzle of olive oil, a generous pinch or two of salt, and your seasoning.
Roast in your oven. I usually do 400°F for about 25-30 minutes, but this is pretty forgiving and you can do 425 for 20 minutes or whatever you want to do
Taste a chickpea. It should have an audible crunch. If it doesn't, put it back in until it does
When done, taste for seasoning and add any additional salt or seasoning you want. Proceed to devour them.
These are best fresh, but I still like them later on (if I don't eat them all right away). Store in an airtight container for a couple days at room temp or a few days in the fridge.
Enjoy!!

I don't believe in a fictional couple if they didn't share, before getting together, those moments:
sexual tension (unless they're ace) + bonus point if they realize it and it surprises them
vulnerability from both of them, they gotta have witnessed the other comforting them, and being at their lowest and letting the other see it, be a part of it
rage/intense negative emotion, not necessarily to eo, actually it's better if it's not, just seeing the other being feral, whether it is part of their character or uncharacteristic of them, it's important either way
caring, it feels like it would go without saying but bc it seems so obvious so many ppl skip it! NO! It's the most important one, the only one you cannot have too many of. Show me they care, constantly. They should be biased to eo all the time, whether they know it or not, and always include the well-being of the other as part of their equation when they make decisions (not saying they have to follow it, every story have reasons not to, but it has to be on their mind at the very least).
I probably have many more but those are the top of my list right now.

I saw a post where everyone in the batfam had adopted the airhead Brucie Wayne cover except for Damian and of course Alfred. So I wanted to add to the pile. :)
All of them are sitting in a restaurant
Brucie: … wait this has a little label for vegetarian on it but it doesn’t have any meat in it. I think you forgot to label it vegan!
Waiter: … this has whipped cream, eggs and milk in it sir.
Dick: Wait whipped cream isn’t vegan?!?
Jason: No, I’m pretty sure it is.
Dick: well if it isn’t I messed up my vegan challenge week and nobody told me!
Tim: can’t we just pay someone to find out if whipped cream is vegan?
Brucie: Good idea! [Takes out $100 bill and hands it to the waiter] Is whipped cream vegan?
Waiter: uhh
Damian: PLEASE STOP! NONE OF YOU HAVE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS! WHY DID THIS BECOME A DEBATE?
Dick: that’s not true I’m a pescatarian now! I really miss eating fish but it’s worth it!
Damian with head in hands: that’s not what- ugh forget it!
The waiter now confirms to everyone that they come across that Damian Wayne is indeed the holder of the Wayne Family Braincell.
Tabloids dub this conversation the dessert debate. It becomes a trend to ask what Bruce thinks is vegan during interviews.

HI how did you add those textures to mspaint?!?!?
using this as an excuse to draw ted on mspaint again LOL
Tumblr media
TL;DR, you click file on the top left, open properties, then under "Colors" you switch color to black and white
Tumblr media
and you get halftones instead of colors :-]
Tumblr media
(if you want some more tips and a little bit of process, click this 👇)
basically i start by drawing in color mode, mainly because i get "layers" in a way by using a different color for the sketch and using the eraser tool and holding right click to only erase the color i set in "Color 2" "COLOR 1"* (which in this case, the color i used for the sketch) to clean it up (WOOPS)
Tumblr media
and then i switch to B&W mode and go crazy with the halftones :-]
i also use the eraser tool to color under the lineart in the same way just by switching up the colors
Tumblr media
oh also you can change the size of the brushes, even the eraser by doing this ^_^ (only works if you have a numpad, unless there's another shortcut for it that i dont know??)
Tumblr media
hope this made sense! 💛 PS. turn on transparent selection under the selection options (dotted square)

Hello, I love your blog. I'm writing a story about cheating and I was wondering how you write the person finding out and the couple breaking up making it clingy and annoying?
Hi, thanks for asking! Writing about cheating and the fallout can be emotionally intense, so it's important to approach it with sensitivity and realism. Though this is a very general mould, it would typically go something like this:
Build trust: Start by creating a strong foundation of trust and intimacy between the couple before the cheating occurs. This makes the betrayal more impactful.
Foreshadowing: You may want to drop subtle hints or foreshadow events that hint at the possibility of infidelity. This builds suspense and keeps readers engaged—though you may decide to go about it with a different approach and make it as much of a shock for the reader as it is for the character.
Discovery: The moment the person finds out about the cheating should be a pivotal and emotionally charged scene. Consider different ways they might discover the truth - catching the cheater in the act, finding incriminating evidence, or hearing about it from someone else.
Emotional reaction: Show the emotional turmoil of the person who's been cheated on. Their initial shock, disbelief, anger, and heartbreak should be vividly portrayed, whether through the narrative (if it's in their POV), their thoughts, actions, or dialogue.
Confrontation: The confrontation between the couple can be a powerful scene. Explore the dynamics of their relationship as they confront the betrayal and try to make sense of what happened. Make it intense and dramatic, with raw emotions pouring out. It's important to use dialogue that reflects the feelings of betrayal and hurt.
Escalation: As the truth comes out and emotions run high, the situation may escalate, leading to a heated argument or even a physical altercation. Be mindful of realistic consequences and character reactions.
Aftermath: Show the aftermath of the breakup: the emotional fallout for both parties involved, any collateral damage to friendships or family relationships, the process of healing and moving on (or not. Revenge and resentment is good, too), and how the experience changes the characters. This will add depth and carry the story forward.
Here are some tips to keep in mind:
Emphasise overreaction: Show one or both parties overreacting to the situation. This could involve exaggerated emotions, dramatic accusations, or unreasonable demands.
Focus on insecurities: Highlight the insecurities of the person who discovers the cheating. This could involve them constantly seeking reassurance or displaying jealousy even in unrelated situations.
Miscommunication: Introduce misunderstandings or misinterpretations that fuel the high-strung emotions present in the altercation. Perhaps the person who discovers the cheating misinterprets innocent actions as signs of further betrayal.
Obsessive behaviour: Show the person exhibiting obsessive behaviour. Namely, stalking.
Guilt-tripping: Have the person who discovers the cheating guilt-trip the other person, making them feel overly responsible for the situation and manipulating them emotionally. This could also work the other way around.
Introduce third parties: Include meddling friends or family members who exacerbate the situation by taking sides, spreading rumors, or encouraging certain behaviour.
Unhealthy dependence: You can depict the person who discovers the cheating as overly dependent on the relationship for their happiness and sense of self-worth, making the breakup even more devastating for them.
Exaggerate emotional rollercoaster: Showcase extreme mood swings, from intense anger and resentment to desperate pleas for reconciliation, creating a rollercoaster of emotions that can be exhausting for the other party.
Avoid rational dialogue: Keep the conversation between the couple filled with emotional outbursts and irrational accusations rather than rational discussions, preventing any resolution or closure.
Prolong the drama: Drag out the breakup process with unnecessary confrontations, repeated arguments, and attempts at reconciliation, making it feel drawn-out and tiresome for both characters and readers alike and making the resolution or aftermath all the more satisfying.
Again, all this depends on your story and characters, but I hope this is helpful nonetheless. Happy writing ❤

Okay. I think I got it. The bird boys fighting over something. It can be angsty, like one’s feelings getting hurt which leads to an argument, or it can be over something ridiculous like what to eat that night for dinner.
You pick! ❤️
Thank you so much for your tip on ko-fi!! ❤️ AND OK I totally used your prompt to share my headcanon of "Panchito not being able to even stand the smell of jackfruits" to the world. Which, I think would be really funny since José LOVED to steal jackfruits from his neighbourhood when younger, get karma'd bitch!
