I know no one has to believe anyone else on the internet but you seem pretty cool...
Three and a half years ago we found out we were getting the crossover with Lone Star, I was in the middle of re-watch and I had just seen the episode in Season 2 where Chimney calls Tommy for help. It made sense to me that at least -some- of the 217/Harbor station would go down to Texas to help out, they'd need water bombers and stuff right? So I decided to write a silly little crack fic about Buck meeting Tommy and the two of them hooking up. A few months after that I decided to write them again for an AU week for an alternative first meeting. Being someone who loves writing rarepairs and crack ships I didn't think anything else of it.
The last 5 1/2 months have been absolutely insane in the best and worst of ways. I never in a million years thought this silly little crackship of mine would take off, there were SIX... *SIX* pure BuckTommy fics before 7x04 and now there are literally thousands. I am stunned but also so happy that this fun little silly little ship of mine has gotten so much love and attention, most of it positive.
All that to say, thank you for what you do for BuckTommy nation and the 9-1-1 fandom in general. You're amazing.

Ahhh thank you!!! Send me the link??

Pls pls write anything for Astarion. Like maybe an imagine, idk. I would much prefer something fluff but literally anything else is fine.
I'm starved :(
Well baby I’m gonna feed you tonight. Can’t have my lovely followers starving now can i?
Astarion Ancunin
Nightmares
Summary: You comfort Astarion after you defeat Cazador (not ascended)
Themes: Hurt/Comfort, fluff, mentions of suicidal thoughts and abuse, gn! reader, no use of y/n, no specified pronouns, (shitty writing because this is my first time writing in 2 years)
Astarion couldn’t sleep. Not that he didn’t want to, but he physically couldn’t. Every time he closed his eyes, phantoms of his past plagued the skin behind his eyelids.
He should feel better. Cazador was dead. The ritual was stopped and his kin were saved. So why did he still feel trapped?
He shifted in his bedroll a few times before letting out a frustrated sigh and sitting up. Running a hand down his face and glancing around the dark tent you shared. The only light being the remaining embers of the fire outside.
Experimentally, Astarion attempted to close his eyes in a futile last attempt to rid himself of the visions. Only to flinch and open them again upon seeing those agonised faces and mutilated bodies.
Sensing the sudden lack of presence beside you, you begin to stir awake and feel the bedroll beside you only to feel it empty. Feeling a jolt of panic, you open your eyes fully only to find your companion sat barely a foot away from you.
Astarion’s head turns as you join him in sitting up. “Sorry if I woke you.” He mutters and runs a hand through his hair. The frown on his face highlighting his fine lines and blemishes.
You shake your head and yawn as you come into a comfortable sitting position. “Don’t apologise…” You shift closer to him but stop once he flinches slightly. “What’s wrong?”
Worry laces your voice as you reach out to touch Astarion’s hand. His hand twitches as if wanting to pull away before he lets it close around your soft skin.
“It’s nothing, darling.” He forces out a chuckle. An obvious attempt to brush the subject off. You’d known him too long to fall for that. You let out a small sigh and move to sit as close to him as you could.
“Star… You can’t lie to me.” You smile sadly at him. “Tell me what’s bothering you. You can trust me.”
Astarion hesitates. Even after months of adventuring with you and getting used to your heroism and kindness, he still struggled with the fact that he could trust you. It’s not that he didn’t want to. He trusted you with his life. But it was still new to him.
“I spent 200 years not trusting anyone…” He speaks quietly. “200 years… suffering at the hands of that maniac.” He swallows as if trying to gulp down a lump in his throat.
“I’m supposed to feel free… happy. I’m finally able to live without the fear of being used as a pawn in some sick plan…” He squeezes your hand ever so slightly, trying to find comfort in the warmth of your skin.
“But I don’t, that bastard is dead and yet I still feel him looming over me. As if gloating that his death was quick.” His voice cracks a bit before he clears his throat. “Do you know how many times I wished for that? Preyed? A quick death to save me from him and my torture?”
His words made your heart break into uncountable pieces. Your eyes softening as you shift to hold his other hand with your free one. “Star…” You start only for him to cut you off.
“You killed him though… I know that…” He clears his throat again. “It’s silly for me to still worry about him. And the people he made me hurt.”
You shake your head and move to get a glance at his face. “Astarion, it’s not silly.” You speak softly, letting go of one of his hands to cup his face and turn his face to yours. “You’ve gone through so much. More than I can even begin to fathom. What you did was not your fault. You were coerced and manipulated by a man who was selfish and ruinous.”
His eyes finally move to meet yours, instantly softening once he sees the kindness in your gaze.
“You’re a different man to who you were under his power. A better man. Even if you don’t believe it. I’ve seen it.” You smile softly and run a thumb along his cheekbone. “It’ll take time to move on from this. This has been your life for centuries. Those habits will be hard to break, but I’ll be right there. By your side. Because I love you.”
Astarion smiles as his eyes gloss over with emotion at your words. “You mean that?”
You nod and press a soft kiss to his nose. “With my whole heart.”
He leans into your touch. Moving closer until he’s able to press soft kisses to your lips. “I love you too.” He whispers against your lips before pulling away and lieing back down on his bedroll.
Your smile widens and you lay down with him. Your head resting on his arm and your body pressed against his in a comfortable silence. No other words needing to be said to explain the bond the both of you share.
Your eyes get heavy again quite quickly as your breathing steadies drifting into a state of rest. Astarion glances down at your sleeping face with a soft smile and moves some of your hair to give you a kiss on the forehead.
He takes a deep breath, readying himself to tackle his demons again. However, for the first time in days, closing his eyes didn’t bring visions of victims and abusers.
But visions of you.

"B-But transfemmes are the ones who made the film into a cult classic! If you don’t like it, don’t watch it!! It’s literally that simple!!!"
First off, space laze deciding a long post I wrote about trauma is an "argument" is very telling, it's not an argument, the post in question even says that it's just thoughts. Hold on. Why am I saying this, I'll just screenshot it.
This is not an argument. This was never an argument. This is just digesting thoughts about how so many of us have trauma with a specific piece of media. The "transfemmes made it popular" thing, though silly and untrue, isn't actually addressing anything I said. My post can *still* be true while that'd be true too, the two don't contradict each other.
That said it's untrue. Transfems do not hold that level of social capital. The movie isn't a niche hit with trans specific crowds, it's a literal cult classic. The love for it is so much bigger than that. It's a bigger movie than that now. Are there transfems that love it? Yeah. Are there transfems that were involved in its uprising as "queer cinema?" Yeah. But to say it was only transfems is ahistorical and silly.
At the end of the day, it's once again just a guy mocking a woman for something they didnt even bother to read. It's typical anti-feminist methodology. The entire book about problematic media goes out the window. "Uh uh uh people can't be traumatized with the movie cuz ummm transfems like it!" That's not how things work and never has been. Liking a movie that is problematic isn't a bad thing, but if you're literally so resistant to any critical reading of a movie, you're just anti-intellectual.
"if you don't like it, don't watch it." Ok, but the thing is *I don't watch it* and I'm discussing why. Like, it's just misogynistic and dismissive. But also - just because a woman criticizes a movie doesn't mean you're not allowed to like it, spacey. This is the same response that my Barbie movie review garnered "UHHH why are you writing 8999 paragraphs just don't watch it" it's anti-feminism and anti-intellectualism. The dude did not need to be a douche about what is a personal post.
Speaking about *that*
The second part of this:
Anon, why are you sending my personal posts to a known anti-feminist/transmisogynist? Did you not think I wouldn't notice the ask that they received looks awfully similar to this one I got? Or did you think I'd be blinded by the specter of drama that I'd not notice? Why are you stirring the pot? Scroll through my blog, you'll just find me writing smut and reblogging art. Did that bother you? Did you *crave* me being in arguments? Why? Why are you sending douchebag MRAs I have blocked my posts?
I will not answer asks like this ever again. Stop being a coward and do it off anon you creep.

The Harry Potter Series only exists because of Severus Snape
Yes. I know Harry Potter is the main character and the series revolves around him. However- I ask that you all sit tight and hear me out.
I understand that he would not exist without the series, but likewise the series itself would not exist without him. Severus Snape is one of if not the most relevant characters throughout the series. His actions have a direct effect on the narrative more so than any of the other characters. Harry himself included. Now, now- before any of you people get riled up about my post (which I know some will anyways) settle down and at least let me explain my thoughts on the matter first.
The prophecy. Severus is the one that overheard a portion of the prophecy and told Voldemort. If he had not been there Harry wouldn’t have been the confirmed chosen one as it was Voldemort who determined through what he learned by Severus, that it was Harry Potter that would defeat him. Clearly. Voldemort would not have known who the chosen one was without Severus, meaning Neville and Harry would’ve been his targets and probably a lot more children as well.
His Love. Severus’ love (which I believe was platonic but it’s up to your own interpretation I suppose) for Lily is what caused him to go to Albus Dumbledore and ask for him to protect the Potters. Severus was the one to inform Albus that the Potters were being targeted. If he did not do that, the potters wouldn’t have had that heads up to prepare a safe space. They would’ve been caught complaining off guard of Voldemort’s arrival and likely wouldn’t have had their wands on them (like James in canon left it somewhere else when he was killed…) as they weren’t anticipating an attack. Leaving little Harry completely defenseless.
His Spying. Severus was a spy for a very long time. He joined the order at 20, became a teacher at 21, and lived until 38. That is 18 almost 20 years of spying. Without Severus spying for those 18 years the order would not have been able to be 1-2 steps ahead of Voldemort. They wouldn’t have had that insider information that let Albus plan their next moves.
Harry would’ve died in the first book if Severus wasn’t around. Hermione and Ron only saw Severus mumbling some spells/curses not Quirinus Quirrel. If Severus hadn’t been there Harry would’ve fallen to his death because of Quirinus as he was very inconspicuous, no one suspected him. Not Harry, not Hermione, not Ron, not even the readers. Quirinus was just a stuttering, kind, silly man before any of us found out he had Voldemort literally living in/on the back of his head. Severus was the only one that seemed to know. If Albus knew he obviously didn’t care as he HIRED the man himself…
That is just a few instances where Severus was needed and pulled through. Without him, the series would’ve ended before it began.
You guys may add onto this because I’m too lazy to include everything…
