Headcanons //
I've had a few headcanons since this pairing has become my newest obsession. So, though in the manga we haven't seen Nami (at least yet) pronounce about love, I like to imagine her allowing herself to fall in love with Sanji, progressively, but in an unnoticed way.
Before joining the Mugiwaras, Nami tried all along to remain distant with everyone she met, unable to stick to places, things and people because at the end of the day she had to return with Arlong. And so, she built walls around her heart. But life in the Sunny is so different to her previous life that those walls don't seem as solid as they used to, and in exchange she's gradually becoming more open, and more vulnerable too.
Before Sanji joined the SH's, she was the one who cooked; probably basic, lifesaving dishes.
Nami was hungry as a child because her family didn't earn enough, and then with Arlong it's more than possible that she was starved. Her life as a thief wouldn't have allowed her to eat a decent dish every day (or week), and when forced to steal (to eat) people would surely hate her and treat her horribly, making her earn pejorative names such as "burglar cat" (泥棒猫 [dorobou neko]).
With Sanji on board, she has never worried about hunger, food supply or cooking again. Sanji treats her literally like a queen, which is what she likes and has lacked her whole life. He is always looking out for her. He is not only going to feed her the best dishes, but he is going to give her the healthiest and most nutritious.
Sanji takes such care of her that she doesn't need to say a word or even go to the kitchen. Sometimes she's so focused on her maps that she forgets to eat but he already knows that she's too focused or distracted for that. Even so, he comes by to bring her food, some fruit or hot tea.
Although she has a library where she can work and study, away from the fuss of the Sunny, sometimes when the kitchen is quiet she goes there with her maps. She occasionally looks up from her books and stares at Sanji while he's cooking, not for too long so she doesn't get caught. But she likes the person he is when he is focused, doing what he likes. She knows, too, the value of food and that cooking is an expression of love.
Since she knows Sanji, Nami has never had the need to cook, nor has she ever gone hungry again... To her surprise, she barely remembers how it feels to starve.
Although she does not wish to take up cooking, it has always been a skill she has admired and treasured, and she probably would enjoy cooking more often... even for free.
As long as he's side by side with her.

HOT TAKE
But I like the idea of the phantom world being reincarnated into very unexpected people.
Like I still love the idea of Danny being Martha or Thomas.
Or Dani being another clone, or her being Damian, and Sam being Poison Ivy and or Martha, etc.
But I also like the unhinged nonsense of Sam being a clone in the dc world — ideally Kon, and Dani (or Dan) being Bruce, while Vlad is gasp Thomas Wayne.
HEAR ME OUT
JUST HEAR ME OUT
I just think the idea of Danny finding out that in an alternate world he married a nicer and age appropriate Vlad and had the son the guy has been demanding for so long in their world is hilarious.
The absolute mental breakdown that boy will go through: this is my son, and I love him, look at him go being a hero and kicking ass, but holy fucking Ancients above I fucked VLAD —
And on the other hand, can you imagine Bruce’s reaction? To his alternate mom being a sassy teenage boy, his alternate dad being an older guy ‘preying’ on this kid that absolutely HATES the guy, and being an absolute creep while his alt self **gestures to your choosing** is either a tiny girl menace or the biggest and meanest growling ghost that is BARELY tolerating being in the same space as the living.
But they also hate his alternate dad and would punch him into next week with Mom! Danny.
This man will being going THROUGH IT.

Tommy saying he has to leave after kissing Buck is something I have to talk about…
Because instead of just saying “yeah gotta go!” and leaving Buck to flounder and worry and feel used, Tommy does the opposite
Tommy wants to stick around, wants to be there, and wants to be with Buck. And he says so by the way he adjusts Buck’s shirt, by maintaining eye contact, explaining it, and Buck isn’t left to spiral right after the kiss.
And after Buck’s little “okay” that still holds a sense of awe and maybe not being super present (which can’t blame him, I mean have you seen Lou), Tommy still assures Buck of his place by asking for a date.
It’s all these things that add up to Tommy making sure Buck is a priority and Tommy will keep that as a promise.
Buck deals with abandonment and not feeling right in the world, and Tommy is there to say “hey, in this world, in my world, you can feel safe and free to be you.”

„Art is illusion, storytelling, but in their most sublime form, these images form a path to truth.“
I fell in love with Pentiment.
Mags is my beloved and quite under appreciated I think, so here I gave her Mucha-esque artwork. Best girl.
