IAN FLYNN: I’d like to think, a long while, in that she’s some sort of cryptid to them. KYLE: [laughs] IAN: They’re really— they’re really freaked out. There is something hunting them across all the various terrains, and it’s low tech. Like, all of the tech that they’ve managed to steal from Eggman, it’s getting smashed by this thing, and they don’t know how. KYLE: Mhm, mhm. IAN: They can’t control it, so it’s not another robot… huh. I just like the idea of Sticks, like, stalking the Deadly Six. KYLE: [chuckles] IAN: Mostly because she’s trying to prove that they’re space aliens. KYLE: Well, yeah. This is a bit like Predator, but… IAN: [laughs] KYLE: …if the Predator were just a silly, goofy alien, and there were six of them… and they all hated each other. [chuckles] And they were just cartoonish. IAN: Zavok all geared up for war, standing in the remains of the Lava Castle. [as Zavok, imitating Arnold Schwartzenegger] “I’m here! Come kill me! Come on! I’m here!” KYLE: [laughing] “Do it!” IAN: Sticks steps out. [as Sticks] “Finally! I want some answers!” [as Zavok] “You’ve got to be kidding me.” KYLE: [laughs] I like that Sticks can take on the Deadly Six, no problem, no trouble. [chuckles] Brilliant. Good note to end on. Zazz vs. Smoothies To-Go

For context, I’m 17 now, and back when this was happening I had catatonic episodes where I would black out. These episodes would make most of my life at that time a blur of deviantart and questionable parenting methods. It was rlly stressful for me so a lot of my coping was through drawing and storytelling. When I consider the factors I was living in, it makes a LOT of sense that I barely remember any of the stuff I did. I completely forget I even had a deadly six phase, or that 10 year old me would trace random google images on slips of paper. So this collection means a lot to me, that I can still relive and acknowledge parts of my childhood I thought I lost.

We were digging through storage when I came across this bundle of memories. Most of this was undertale, fnaf, and sonic hedgehog related. It makes me sad because most of this was probably the only thing that kept me alive during that time.

Why Starline Had Asthma (By An Asthma Haver)

Have I ever talked about my “Starline has Asthma” headcanon/theory?

Eh fuck it I’m talking about it now, or at least in depth. Side note: I’m using a lot of my OWN experiences with asthma when it comes to this.

So a lot of us know the “Starline probably had SOME form of Illness” theory. Supported by the multiple panels during (and before) the metal virus happened where Starline and the mention of “Illness” are put directly next to each other.

Fuck dude even outright says he made himself lll while attempting to find Eggman. It’s also my first point of reference!

This panel with the added content of Asthma Starline makes things just. Make sense to me for a few reasons

Asthma is KNOWN to cause sleep problems if untreated (I actually found out I had asthma this way) If Starline wasn’t taking the needed support for his lungs to search for Eggman it could’ve totally worsened things.

If Starline was looking high and low for Eggman it probably would’ve included places with dust, sand, snow, etc. things that cause asthma to worsen. Also being another potential reason for his lack of sleep.

A lack of sleep cause actually cause asthma to worsen. Directly connecting it with his lack of sleep.

I think I find it fascinating that one of his main concerns with the virus is it becoming air born. I mean, even without the potential context that he’s asthmatic, it would be a legitimate concern but I’m mainly including it just as a cool addition.

Okay I’m including this as the last one because I’m very autismos over this scene.

The Conch Scene

So a lot of the reason why I think Starline has lung problems is because of this scene in particular!

Starline grabs the conch, blows into it and..

Yeah we know what happens. It doesn’t really work too well. But even after the short blow he does do he sounds exhausted, even audibly huffing.

And of course we get THIS line from Eggman

Asthma’s strongest warrior (he blew into an instrument)

But yeah this was just a post of me projecting onto Starline giving my own spin on the whole illness theory thing.
