The flood of agents eventually die down, but only because it's migrating over to another base. One you thought was a secret, the underground base treated as if it was a bunker. The agents wreak havoc, digging through defenses like moles, adrenaline and determination fueling several alternate dimension Agent Phoenix's, along with a few other agents you are familiar with, and some you aren't. The fight is even bigger this time, a dust cloud appearing on the surface as agents scrap with all their teeth swords, lighters, some wielding grenades, others waving guns around like party streamers ready for bloodshed. The operatives are well trained, but there's at least a dozen adrenaline fueled agents swarming the place. And considering it usually only takes one to destroy whole factories and schemes, they do some serious damage.

Amongst the chaos, two agents slip through the entrance, blending into the shadows, barely a blip on the radar. They sneak through the levels of the base, and eventually manage to hack into the holding cells. No attempt to divert attention to the moles inside base work, as most operatives have had their earpieces smashed to bits in the fight. And not too many minutes later, an override appears on the computer, and a swarm starts to pour out from the bottom layer of the base, slowly rising upwards as the battle above ground raged on.

[Another instance of Roz’s voice rings across the intercom.]

“Ah, Agents, how unexpected! And by unexpected, I mean COMPLETELY EXPECTED! You may not be susceptible to moles, but did you prepare for… ACTUAL MOLES?!”

[Roz laughs maniacally, and the ground beneath the agents’ feet rumbles as giant mind-controlled battle-moles tear up the ground and begin their attack, making any attempt at fighting back difficult.]

continuing with the classic sonic art and redesigns I've been doing, here's sonic lost world

thoughts are overall in the images but basically I used SA-55 as the base for Orbot and Cubot's designs, and used Sonic 1 concept art, the general vibe of oni, and just palette simplification for the Zeti

Deadly six lite redesign since I felt like it,

started to wonder how I would change them to be more while keeping close to the originals. (also an excuse to draw them without being bored by the original designs tbh)

I'll post duos later with little bits explaining the lite redesigns and give a clear more open look at each one.

made some deadly six model ref sheets (i know SOMEONE out there has use of these)

things to keep in mind- the colors are taken from their concept art since it was flat, the heights are taken from the only character bios we have of them. i tried very hard to stay objective and not shove any of my design hcs in there even if theres some things i dont personally like these sheets arent scaled down at all so i hope this post doesnt explode

Zazz and Zor

Zazz is the loudest of the Deadly Six. You’ll likely hear him before you see him, but that’s not enough to save you. Riding on his Thundermoon Mech, he traverses freely along the stormy sky and the lush green plains of the Lost Hex. His fighting style is very energetic and scrappy, he’ll fight dirty and laugh at you when you fall. If he gets too bored, or pushed too far, he’ll kick it up to 11 with a super charge from Thundermoon. Whether or not he’s shocking himself or you, you’ll be in a world of hurt from this living lightning-rod bully.

Zor is the youngest of the Deadly Six. Moody and dramatic, he appears to be going through what one would describe as an “emo phase.” What appears to just be his love of horror and dark fantasy, Zor uses his hair as a “phantom mask” to hide a physical disfiguration in the form of a nasty scar. As if a twist of fate, Zor’s scar has become a fantastical story as well. Some claim it’s a result of a deep woods guardian, others claim it to be just a birthmark. The scariest story claims it came from the Leader of the Deadly Six himself. Despite claiming his calling is “the phantom,” Zor is actually a very learned botanist. Taking care of a large garden deep within the forest, he grows many poisonous plants and toxic mushrooms. He uses these to fuel a sleeping perfume he stores within his flower-shaped tail.
