Thinking about Httyd...hot and perhaps too personal take: To me, Httyd was more than anything else a movie about emotional starvation. And Forbidden Friendship was the sweetest, briefest celebration of relief from that.

Afterwards, everybody basically told Hiccup to man up “because that’s just life” and I will never forgive Httyd2 and Httyd3 for that.

This might have been the heaviest scene in the whole trilogy for me, *possibly* tied w/ Boromir’s death. Every hair on my body stands up, my stomach twists, my throat constricts. Karl Urban gutted this scene and laid it at Peter Jackson’s feet like Tarzan:Kerchack. AND IT’S NOT EVEN A CLIMACTIC OR CENTRAL PLOT POINT IT’S PRACTICALLY JUST A TRANSITION.

funniest disney history facts i can think of atm

literally EVERYBODY thought the lion king was gonna flop and pocahontas would be their greatest movie ever made. people begged to ditch lion king and work on pocahontas.

the reason robin hood ends so abruptly is that there was an actual ending planned and storyboarded but the crew spent too long arguing about everyone’s fursonas to finish animating it

madam mim was way less comedic in the original book but because her character was too similar to maleficent (who was in their latest film at the time), the sword and the stone crew decided to differentiate her by making her fucking hilarious

when making a goofy movie, jeffrey katzenberg (studio chairman at the time) told bill farmer to give goofy “a normal voice.” farmer, who had been voicing goofy for eight years at that point, including in the goof troop show that a goofy movie was a sequel to, was very confused. after making an attempt they decided to scrap that note completely.

Ever since TFO I’ve fallen in love with Elita-One I love her sm and according to ME everyone else loves her too // also here are my thoughts about my weird TF continuity that I’m making up rn made up of combination of TFO and TFA

So the TFO movie events still happen except that B-127 is a sparkling. Orion becomes Optimus Prime and with the help of Elita-One and the newly formed Autobots, they rebuild Cybertronian society.

B-127, along with other sparklings such as Cliffjumper, are sent to the newly formed Autobot Academy. Initially it was to have them learn basic knowledge (like our real-world education system), but as the Decepticons, Quintessons, and other threats continue to threaten the Autobots it eventually becomes an Autobot Boot Camp to train soldiers, spies, scouts, etc.

After orbital cycles/years of not seeing OP or Elita-One, B-127 finally graduates from the academy as a scout and immediately tries to become OP’s personal scout. He’s still a yapper (which got him bullied) but now that he’s a teen (idk the TF equivalent to that) he’s gotten a bit more bratty and overconfident to make up for his short stature.

While B-127 was in the academy, OP has continued to lead the Autobots to form a more fair society for all. He continually runs into Megatron throughout the war, but still has hopes of one day changing his mind. OP feels the pressure of being the leader constantly and as such hopes to assign the rank of Prime (or something similar to it) to other bots, such as Ultra Magnus and Rodimus (who’s still training to become one).

Elita-One becomes the leader of the Elite Guard (named after her + a separate entity) that goes into battle side-by-side with OP. She’s seen as one of the greatest soldiers the Autobots have and everyone, especially academy students, wants to be part of the Elite Guard. Between helping OP, fighting battles, leading the Elite Guard, and training new recruits, she has a bit of a chip off her shoulder, but always means well.

Side Notes for Arcee and Hot Rod:

- Arcee and Hot Rod were teens when the events of TFO occurred, with Arcee being a cogless miner and Hot Rod being a cogged racer

- They have both graduated from the Autobot Boot Camp and are now soldiers

- Arcee is a new recruit for the Elite Guard and has a bit of a hero-crush on Elita-One; her bubbly personality and endless energy is seen as a welcome change for the Elite Guard and she gets along with everyone

- Hot Rod was initially also going to the Elite Guard, but his prowess on the battlefield as well as his natural leadership skills caught OP’s attention and he’s now being personally tutored by Ultra Magnus

- Became friends with B-127 and adopted him as a sort of little brother, as they’re glad to not be the youngest anymore and to show off to someone who’s easily impressed

i mean, i may be a little biased, because i'm truly weak for a woman in a suit, but i feel her power suits that become more masculine along with the rest of her dress sense as the movie goes on should really be analysed further, i'm not sure what it means for her character or what it subconsciously shows and implies about how she changes but idk it's always been a love of mine

a/n: this is not completely accurate since i have infact not watched s3 or s4 so i just use clips ive found to write this story..

You and rafe have been talking for around 5 months, you met him 6 months ago and everything seemed to be going good. He normally spent his nights at your house, playing about and watching movies, you really liked him. And he seemed to like you, right now your at a party, rafe had invited you and ofc you came. You’ve been looking for him and soon look into a room and see him, you were about to walk to him when you hear his friend ask “so what’s the deal with you and Y/N, i swear she lives with you or you live with her” And obviously you stopped to see if rafe would speak goodly about you..

“me and Y/N? oh we just talk that’s about it, we are casual, a few hook ups” he says with a chuckle at the last bit. “and i’d never live with a pogue”

Your heart ached at his words, you thought you were getting somewhere, you really liked him. You held your tears back and walked into the middle of the party, music played but it sounded muffled, you looked around, trying to find the exit, you couldn’t be here anymore. Your eyes caught the door and you went to walk towards it but you felt a hand pull you back against its chest, the cologne filled your nose and you instantly knew who it was, rafe.

“where you going baby?” he ask looking down at you “i thought you were staying and hanging with me”

“i just don’t feel like being here” you replied, lying a bit, knowing if you mentioned what you heard you’d break down.

He gives a confused look “you texted me saying you were exited to come and see me baby”

All you do is nod, a lump appeared in your throat, and he could tell something was up

“Y/N? what’s wrong, tell me, talk to me” he says reaching out and grabbing your hand, you pull away quickly, causing him to frown,

“okay. what’s the deal with you?”

“did you mean what you said?” you asked, voice breaking.

he furrowed his eyebrows “what did i say baby?”

you look at him before looking down, fiddling with your fingers “when you said we were just casual… a few hook up” you say your throat tightening, “and you’d never live with a pogue.” you spat the last bit.

his face dropped, his chest raised heavily, he knew it, he knew he shouldn’t of said that shit but his pride got the best of him, and he could possibly lose the greatest thing that’s ever happened to him.

“baby… i didn’t mean those things ok?” he said raising his hands to his chest, pointing at himself “i messed up i know, i don’t mean it baby please” he begs.

“if you didn’t mean it, why did you say it rafe?!”

“my pride, it got the best of me okay!? i really like you, Y/N, like really really, and i think of you more than just a casual hook up, your the only person who i’ve opened up to and i can’t lose you”

You listen carefully, he seemed honest but the hurt took over the guilt, why did i even feel guilt in the first place, you said to yourself, he made the mistake not me.

“rafe, those things hurt me, they really did, i dont know how im supposed to forgive and forget it-“

he cuts you off, grabbing your face gently in his hands, his ring coldly sitting on your jawline, “i’m not saying to forget it, and not fully forgive me, but i’m asking for a second chance, i’ll prove my loyalty to you, just please don’t leave me alone.”

your heart started aching even more at his words, guilt building up in your stomach, almost as if you feel your gonna throw up.

“rafe…”

he looks at you, almost pleadingly, you’ve never seen him like this, he never showed emotion like this around you. It hurt you.

rafe took your hands, letting go of your face. “can we please go home” he says talking about his house, “we can talk more there, please”

you look at him, not finding the words to use so you just nod, he gives a look of comfort before dragging you gently to his car.

the ride was silent, not an awkward one, a comforting one, his hand rested on your thigh as you hummed to a song playing on the radio, he stole glances at you from time to time, making sure your not close to breaking down, it hurt him how sad you were, even worse because he was the reason.

a few moments later, he pulls up in the driveway and hops out the car, no matter the argument or how mad he is, he will always open the door for you, so that’s what he does, going round to the passenger side, you give him a quick smile as a thank you, before hopping out.

Once you reach the door to the house, he unlocks it and lets you both in, he chucks the keys on the shelf by the door and turns to you.

“please tell me you believe me when i say i didn’t mean those things, that i let my pride take over”

you think for a second, he’s never been this emotional, never been the pleading.

“i do believe it, but it’s hurt rafe, you know that right?”

he nods quickly, “i know i know baby, but ill do anything, anything. for you to forgive me” he says looking at you, trying to make eye contact, even though he hates it. you see him making eye contact and your heart melts.

you nod. “mhm..”

“just tell me what to do and i’ll do that for you.”

“i just want you to tell your friend that you didn’t mean it, that i actually mean something to you.”

he nods “i’ll do it when i see him. i promise. but i just want you to know i want what we have. i want it to be official. i love you so much it physically hurts” he says, you looked shocked. you’ve never said those 3 words before and it shocked you even more he was the first to say them. “i can’t imagine my life without you and your the first women i’ve truly loved and id do anything for. im a dickhead for saying those things and you have every right to be mad. i don’t care if your a pogue ok? i want you, you.” he repeated.

you look at him lovingly, believing his words. you nod. “i believe you, and i love you too.”

he smiles as you say those words, he grabs your face and crashes your lips together, it was a long, affectionate kiss, but soon turned rough and suggestive. he pulled away with a mischievous look in his eyes, he quickly grabbed your thighs and picked you up, wrapping your legs around his waist before moving to the bedroom

“i’m gonna show you how much i love you, how much i appreciate you.”

The day of the walk of fame ceremony was here. It was a hot sunny day in Los Angeles, but you were keeping positive. You were finally joining the walk of fame.

Your whole family was there to witness the moment. Olivia even brought her Polaroid camera to take photos. She had a whole scrapbook filled with Polaroids. Your family was seated in the front row as the ceremony started. Several of your past costars like RDJ, Elizabeth Olsen and Winona Ryder were in attendance to celebrate the milestone.

The presenter started of by giving a speech about your accomplishments while you stood to the side. It felt like forever but eventually the first speech was about to be said by none other than Hugh.

“Twelve years ago, I was here receiving my star. My family was there and it was one of the best days ever. I remember you, my love, saying something in your speech that had stuck with me ever since. She said ‘you are, and ever shall be, my greatest delight’ and that’s what you are to me. We met when we were young. When I first saw you, the world around me had receded into a blur and all I saw was you. To quote one of our favorite movies, ‘they say when you meet the love of your life, time stops, and that’s true’. You have given me the best family and so much love. Also I quickly want to say that if anyone here thinks love at first sight is bullshit, I’ve got my proof right here,” he gave you a quick kiss on the lips as the crowd cheered. “I’m just happy that I met her so early so I didn’t spend a great time looking for her. And to wrap things up, because I can see our daughter shooting glares at me . . . My love, your star here is not just a mark of your achievements, but a symbol of the love and respect you’ve earned from all who know you. I love you, forever and always.”

And with that Hugh and the rest of the crowd clapped for you. You were practically in tears listening to Hugh’s speech. You were definitely going to scold him later for making you cry.

“You deserve this and more.” Hugh whispered to you as he gave you a hug and a kiss on the forehead.

“I hate you right now, you made me cry,” you wiped away a tear. “I love you.”
