(late) day 4: underappreciated oc. i looked through all my active ocs and i haven't drawn mumbojumbo balderdash in years at this point...my bad, little sock thing. it's largely because i'm more interested in my serious story ocs at this point, and mumbojumbo is from my developing kid's books era. and also i think my old style suited em better, i find them harder to draw nowadays

got absolutely possessed over the past few days, finished planning out the remaining last life designs i had yet to do, and then drew all of them again to make one big lineup with everyone. no one could stop me from making last life a fantasy monster au and so i did it. i love drawing creatures

please note that this follows my own monster au species and rules! some things are things i simply made up (the bug/animal/birdfolk stuff. if youre curious why theyre the way they are, bugfolk are fae relatives, animalfolk are lycanthrope relatives, and. well birdfolk isnt something ive used before. idk what theyre an offshoot of yet) and some are my own (sometimes slightly strange) approach to designing various creatures.

I just thought of Izuku immediately shooting up in the hero rankings like a week after he becomes an active pro-hero again because everyone is so happy that he's back and Katsuki wants to be annoyed that Izuku ranked higher than him so quickly like he would've been, once upon a time, but he really can't be because this is what he worked eight years to see, and now he can finally compete with him again. So he sits in his apartment, TV on, watching Izuku try not to stutter his way through his first returning interview with fondness and pride, and thinks it's finally time to put some actual effort into climbing higher on the hero rankings.

(Not that being #1 is his priority anymore. He's just happy that he gets to fight alongside Izuku again, that they can compete with one another as equals, and that they can complete one another like two sides of the same coin. For the rest of their lives.)

with the hiatus ending in less than a month i'm casting the dice for kuro finale predictions. a lot of this is based on the manga's narrative style, as well as season one's ending (which, though yana didn't write it, she DID give the production team input). place your bets now!

elizabeth lives and is instrumental for some part of the climax, i.e. crashing out at o!ciel (it's what he deserves).

elizabeth inherits the title of guard dog and maybe funtom. girlboss!

sebastian gets badly injured or nearly dies. i think he needs to suffer a little more (endearing)

the phantomhives' killer is someone we've already met. that's murder mystery ground rule number one baby

bonus points if queen victoria did it! she's the only known character who i can piece together a viable motive for

madam red makes a harrowing return as a bizarre doll

undertaker is a red herring villain BUT knows who orchestrated the phantomhives' murders and/or tried to prevent it from happening. isn't telling o!ciel because that would mean satisfying the contract.

tentatively theorizing that rachel phantomhive will be important to the murder reveal in some way. we've seen a lot of vincent thus far and it's suspicious that rachel, who parallels elizabeth in visuals, emotional intelligence, AND moral uprightness hasn't had her moment yet

Bakugou has a cry in the bathroom and you have to spend the rest of the night consoling him.

head in my hands bc of this, just thought abt bakugo growing out his hair a little bit right after baby's birth...takes him months to go and get a real haircut cuz he doesn't wanna burden you more than he already has and by the time he's okay with the thought (but only for "AN HOUR MAX," is what he says), he has a mullet thing going on and all this scruff on his chin🥺🥺🥺

so he gets home with his regular ol' haircut, maybe a little shorter just to account for ... not wanting to go again so soon, and baby's HOLLERING bloody murder as soon as they see him and refusing to be taken out of your arms, doing that thing where they're flipping their face back and forth to dodge a kiss...

it's so tragic bc not even a little cheek nuzzling helps to calm them bc bakugo's CLEAN SHAVEN and smells like aftershave instead of like dad when he tries!!!!!!

and after, you watch him kinda sulk into the bathroom, thinking like aw yeah thats a bummer but also pretty funny, too (esp bc the haircut does look good🫣🤓), AND HE DOESN'T COME OUT FOR LIKE an hour???

....until you finally have to ask him if he's okay in there and you're opening the door to him sitting on the toilet seat, arms crossed and red cheeks a little streaky with tears...

LJFKASDJFADSJK it's the cutest, most sad sight you ever did see!! ofc Bakugo tries to deny it, but the way he tears up again (after you're done assuring him he did nothing wrong) when his baby finally realizes it's him and smiles (and then how he refuses to give them up again until bedtime) has his ass. EXPOSED.

I know you mainly focus on the Pines, but please consider: aroace Wendy. She's clearly been in a lot of romantic relationships, but she doesn't really seem hung up on any of them. Her relationship with Robbie started with, "Yeah, sure, alright." She's clearly just kind of going out with guys because she's suppose toTM, but I bet she'd feel relieved when she realizes she can just have friends.

Oh I am all for aro Wendy! I can see her being Lithromantic like Stan. I also feel like she could be demisexual as well.
