TF141 going out for drinks after a deployment, just to unwind and drink after surviving a nightmare of a mission, and Simon gets completely wasted - just drunk off his ass. he’s not a lightweight, he can hold a couple drinks, which is why Soap and Gaz are having a laugh over him slurring out incomprehensible sentences and wobbling in his seat

but, through his thick accent and hoarse voice, Simon manages a couple mumbled words, “Where— where’s m’doll?”. his eyes are as cold as ever but his voice is suddenly so desperate. Price is watching it unfold as Johnny tries to ask Simon what he’s talking about. after Simon grumbles at him that his ‘doll’ is missing and, “Soa— Soap, need m’doll—”, it clicks for Gaz

they’re trying to get Simon to unlock his phone, he’s being stubborn about his mask being tugged down and Soap is trying to get him to tell them his password. somehow, after a couple minutes, they finally manage to break into the man’s phone. yeah, when Simon sobers up he’ll probably mouth off at them, but right now they’re scrolling through his contacts. Simon’s contacts are just people’s numbers, no names - except for one simply labeled ‘Riley’

as soon as Gaz clicks the FaceTime button he hands it off to Simon. he’s not really paying attention until your voice rings in his ears, then he’s quick to look down at the screen. suddenly he’s sated, gaze smitten as his shoulders relax. you can tell he’s had a few, his head dipping ever so slightly as he slouches over, face a little too close to the camera. you’re about to ask why he called you but he cuts you off, muffled by his mask and voice a couple octaves deeper from the alcohol, “Hi, dolly.”

I keep thinking about how in DC x DP tropes, people believe that Danny is the one tricking people to stay in the Ghost Zone by eating their food. Or some other Hades and Persephone thing going on.

BUT

I need people thinking he's not a consort or victim of a ghost or entity. More of their love child if you know what I mean?

I can imagine it starts with Danny being summoned (cuz that's classic Danny stuff) reeking of death and while most people in these prompts offer him food which is valid, hungry boi and all.

He refuses saying if he eats mortal food it'll delay when he can return back.

This makes people think there's some reverse Persephone logic going on. Is it all human food? For how long exactly? And is it the same for everything he eats?

Danny doesn't explain his reasoning. Maybe he has two different stomachs? Maybe he's experimenting or Frostbite told him not to. Who knows. His summoner for sure doesn't.

I like to think after DPH Sam n Max keep having little moments that remind them that they aren’t from the same timeline, but the silly overrides the serious and so they just gloss over it for the sake of the bit

I was mentally sumarizing Bad Buddy as "college Romeo & Juliet where the violence is stricktly emotional" and then remembered than Pat does, in fact, get shot.

"Kevin isn't that bad it's not like he beats her, why does she need to kill him or fake her death, just get divorced" you are the point of the show, you are missing the crucial reveal. Allison sees Kevin in every single scene as she does their last scene together, but we as the audience aren't privy to that and we only see sitcom Kevin which is Kevin's self perception. He is not suddenly becoming scary and threatening to her. He was like that the whole time. We only see Allison's feelings about Kevin and the aftermath of her interactions with Kevin -- this is the ONLY time we see Kevin from her POV except for the brief initial breaking of the sitcom cam. Every other time we see Kevin on screen it's from Kevin's POV. Even after she cuts her hand we only see the bandage in her singular pov when she is away from kevin, but when it shifts back to sitcom Kevin it's gone.... We do not see the reality of her interactions with Kevin, that's the point of the show!!! Because when Kevin is on screen, it's Kevin's world! We only see Kevin from anyone else's lens in ONE scene at the end, which is when Allison decides to leave, so yes the sitcom cam "softens his abuse" but it also just fully acts as an unreliable narration because we never literally see Kevin from anyone else's POV until the series finale so every time Kevin is on screen it isn't even an accurate portrayal of what's happening, it's Kevin's perception of what's happening. Allison has viewed him like that the entire show, we as the audience just did not get to witness that POV until the end
