I've been thinking, and... I kind of love the fact that Mai and Kaiba have a crap load of stuff in common and would probably get along really well in a crack timeline.

after literal years i finally got around to downloading a pdf of the wipers times, an unsancitioned satitical british trench magazine circulated among the troops in france from 1916-1918 after the fortuitous discovery of a printing press. i have approximately five million other things i need to read so idk when i'll be able to devote much time to it, and i gotta pick up a proper copy bc it's missing at least salient no 4 vol 2. that said? i'm genuinely laughing at what i've skimmed so far

Sometimes I wish we got a little more insight into what hospital thought about hilson. They were walking around the hallways in front of everyone saying shit like "I am in charge of our RELATIONSHIP", "If you looked at me with those flashy little eyes before I was involved", " Why not date you?", "We're a couple" etc. Wilson literally recited a poem about house infront of others with lines " His stubbled jaw;Everything about him leaves me raw". They always leave together, sometimes come together, always have lunch together(and wilson always pays for it) and most times in the middle of the day house just randomly walks into his office, closes the door, gets out with a grin 10 mins later like he conquered the world.

So what did the hospital think? Did everyone just think they had a weird friendship? Did most people already assume they were a couple? Were there any betting pool on how long will it take for them to get together? How much did cuddy contribute to the rumour mill by simpy referring to Wilson as House's "boyfriend"to nurses ? I NEED TO KNOW ALL THIS.

Columbo and the Knight (1984)

put me in the universe where Columbo ran through the 1980s and had a crossover episode with Knight Rider. I think they deserved it, and I am not just saying that because they're my two favorite Old Shows. @telebeast wrote a little fanfic blurb about it and I HAD to visualize it into a comic (which is also the longest comic I have finished thus far at five pages...), so writing credit goes to them.

luke fumbling in recruiting percy has to be one of his greatest failures. a beautiful thing the show does regarding luke and percy's relationship is building rapport between them through shared moments like settling into camp, eating meals together, but especially through swordfighting lessons. the swordfighting scene at the beginning of episode 8 not only reveals that percy and luke already share similar beliefs about the fear-based system the gods have cultivated, but it's clear the conversation stays with percy when he fights ares and later calls out zeus on his waning skills as a father and a king. however, luke's plan fell through the moment percy learned that the winged-shoes were meant to drag him to tartarus. not only that, but the shoes nearly killed grover, a friend percy cared for deeply. if nourishing loyalty and trust was the key to ensuring a partnership with percy, then it was luke's faulty planning, arrogance, and impatience that cost him the greatest ally he could ask for.
