Hello! I recently saw your Vampire!Alhaitham headcanons floating around again, and since I just finished 3.2 not that long ago and have a certain feeble scholar on the mind, what are your thoughts on Vampire!Anaxa if you have any?

Would be similar or different from Alhaitham in your opinion?

If Vampire!Alhaitham is one who’d much rather pull the strings from the safety of the shadows, Vampire!Anaxa is someone who’d parade in the sun with his head held high, if only to spite the people praying for his demise.

He’s a paragon of truth, his desire to answer the question of what exactly he is, is far hungrier than the instincts he has to battle with all day. Outwardly, he looks quite like a stereotypical vampire — thin figure, pale complexion and a temperament that seems to hint that he has spent a millennia divorced from human society. The only thing, and a rather crucial thing at that, which he appears to be missing is that untamable thirst for fresh blood.

Contrary to the impression he gives, he’s actually lived among humans for quite some time as a scholar and he often thanks his ‘control over the bloodlust’ in assisting him to not blow his cover up. Not that he's fond of this charade, but the benefits of enduring humankind's nauseating presence kept him sane enough. Perhaps arrogance crawled to occupy the space of where his heart should’ve been beating, as when his belief of ultimate self control was put to the test, he refused to accept it.

“But you were a human once, weren't you?” the whisper of a road sporting the garments of mystery, intent on making him lose his way for eternity. A cool finger glides over the line of his jaw, its chill very different than his own.

Anaxa forces himself to swallow, that metallic tang insistent on his tongue — not willing to believe that he was a tad too late to conceal the ungraceful drool.

“You and I, we’re both rejected by this world, shackled in the shadows. Why not quit this pouting game and team up with me instead?” as if dissatisfied by the level of atrocity in your words, you amp it up by poking at the bloody fang peeking from his lips. He responds in kind by biting down, hard ; you seem just the tiny bit amused.

“Curse you…” it's a futile exclamation, laughable at that and that is exactly how you respond. Despite his talons clinging around your neck and a fresh wound marring the skin where your artery thrums, you appear not the tiniest bit fazed. It steals his breath away.

“Look at you,” you coo, extending your palm as if to cradle his face but brush past it instead, dizzying him. “Salivating just from one taste. You’re not as immune to this bloodthirst as you’d like to believe, you wouldn't survive an hour if any of those humans found you like this. I can offer you protection and you can be my little toy. Is there any deal better than this?”

Don't listen, don't listen, don't listen. That is the whisper that weaves poison, enchants desperate souls into pawning their remaining spark. A creature neither foolish nor wise. “I’d rather burn at the stake than entertain your schemes.” comes his sibilant retort.

“Ah ah ah.” you chastise, as if he's nothing but a child who knows little about how this world works. “But you still haven't found the answer to what you are, why you're like this.” you glance towards the trail of blood oozing from his bite, a flick of your fingers and within a blink, the scene disappears.

“What if I told you… that I know the answers you seek?”

A road that will lead him nowhere, a serpent disguising as a flower. And he, the Fool that will chase the mirage, despite knowing that nothing awaits him but doom.

How would Vergil and Dante reaction be if their sister tells them that she is a widow and have a child of her own?

Vergil views himself as your main protector. As the eldest brother, it's his duty and part of why he was so power hungry.

So the fact you were married and had a child with out him devastates him. Well inside anyway, outside he's as collected as ever. Though your old spouse should count his blessings for not being around after your reunion because Vergil would test him oh so much.

Even if your spouse had passed the tests it was likely he'd have still refused to accept your marriage. That goes for one of any race, human, demon, nephilim doesn't matter no one is worth of his little sister.

Your kid is an extention of you and demands to meet them. Depending on their age he may demand you start teaching them to defend themselves. Which given how the Sparda family's luck has been isn't unfair.

Kid better be prepared if you say yes, because Vergil is a taskmaster. Nero dead ass is just suddenly glad his father wasn't around when he needed to start training. Like he will take the absent father over that.

But Vergil is only training your child so hard because he is worried.

Dante takes the news a lot better then Vergil. While yes he fancied himself your protector as well, he wasn't as possessive and protective. But Vergil always viewed you as the weak one, who needed protecting and 'loosing' you kinda amped that up. Dante understands you are your own person with her own life.

He's happy you found love, sad you lost it but he's just glad your here to have experienced it all. So as long as the guy survived a shovel talk, and kept making you happy he wouldn't have cared.

Your kid however is a different story. He is hyped over the moon, learned from Nero that he *liked* being an uncle. Plus that's just more family. So please introduce him as soon as you can.

He also insists on training the kid, but with him it's more fun than work with a bonus of pizza. Would dream of taking them on the field much until he was sure they were ready.

Bad influence uncle here too. The kid sees the fun uncle who let's them stay up late and eat too much junk food then let's them play with weapons. But as they get older (16+) he's sneaking them a beer now and a then(like on holidays or the occasional time he has them overnight) if they like it, and buying them nudie mags. Dante is hedonistic at heart, all demons and demon adjacent were. So he's hoping to show the kid it's okay in a safe way like he never had.

Kamen rider oc lore please!

Yeah of course! Never had someone interested in my OC lore! This is my Kamen Rider OC, Athena Bridger! She's one of a few Kamen Riders running around the fictional city I have yet to name. Within the little verse I built around her, she goes by Kamen Rider Kurai (Kurai meaning Dark/Gloomy, a play on both her personal style and her motif, being demons and destruction as a power for good). She's 25, indigenous, a transgender woman, and her general personality is that of a prototypical punk; she's standoffish, doesn't take well to being bossed around, rejects authority, and trusts her own judgement and abilities to protect the people around her, as opposed to local police forces.

While most Kamen Riders don't get a power origin reveal until later in their series, my little verse's canon is that she, and the other Kamen Riders, serve as conduits for the spirits of concepts. For example, she is a conduit for the concept of demons and destruction, and there are other Kamen Riders dedicated to the concepts of Light, Fire, Nature, Electricity, Civilization, etc. Riders gain their motif and powers when they, for whatever reason, use their force of will to subjugate a spirit as opposed to allowing the spirit to possess them (the source of this setting's Kaijin). Once subjugated in this way, the spirit is bound to the soul of the Rider, becoming their power source. Her fighting style is very much a ground and pound street brawler type of fighting, amped up by her superhuman strength and speed granted by the Kamen Rider abilities. She's brutal; best I can compare her to is that one clip of Kamen Rider Kuuga beating the crap outta Porcupine. It's brutal.

That said, her personality when acting as a rider is very much that of your superman type. She genuinely desires to save as many innocent people as she can, despite her powers being better suited to fighting than some other Rider powers. She will stick around after a fight and hype up children who survive harsh events to keep them in good spirits, giving her the nickname of "Kind Kamen Kurai"; She does NOT like that name because she does NOT want people making signs with the acronym on it LMAO If you have any more questions about this world or this rider, or any of the other rider concepts, please drop an ask! jake: so, i'm going to put them in 6v6 so i don't have to leave anyone out. but it would be awesome if they could be in 5v5. because they 100% would force jake to play main tank because he's the best at it, even though he doesn't want to, because he finds it really stressful to be in the leading role. and 6v6 has 2 tanks, so it takes the pressure off, but 5v5 only has One tank. which makes it infinitely more stressful. tank players are constantly complaining about how in 5v5 they're solely responsible for if their team lives or dies, and how all the blame falls on them if they make a wrong call while engaging & the fight is automatically lost. jakey was just Born to be a 5v5 tank player who's good at it and hates every second he spends doing it. i think the specific character he's playing matters less here, the important part is just that he's good at it, he's being forced to do it, and he hates it

i do think in 6v6 it would be funny if he was a d.va player off-tank though, because it's very much her job to monitor the safety of & protect supports/other vulnerable team members. and i feel like it would be the most optimal for stressing him out. but yeah probably, like, d.va or winston because they mimic how his tiger morph has higher agility than e.g. rachel's elephant but is less Purely Tanky than some of the slower-moving options.

rachel: the main tank, i.e., the one who is most responsible for creating space for the team (whereas jake's off-tank is more responsible for enabling/protecting specific teammates). i don't know where junker queen falls as main or off in 6v6, but i feel like junker queen might fit her, because she has a very aggressive yet fine-line front-liner playstyle where her survival is almost entirely dependent on her ability to consistently output damage to get lifesteal. the ultimate being "charge thru the entire enemy team and apply anti-heal to everyone in the radius" also feels very rachel. i think playing tank would also be relevant to her own set of battle neuroses, and it's critical for her to get to have the parallel/sense of recognition w jake. it's also good for ensuring she's playing someone that jake can sic on people. we have to do something terrible (apply devastating anti-heal to the enemy team's own support ultimates), get rachel on the junker queen. oh and the other thing about junker queen that i like as a pick is that she isn't capable of protecting her own team in any way other than just hurting the enemies worse and faster and harder. i could also ponder hazard but this part is getting too long, so whatever

tobias: the birds (echo (dps), pharah (dps), or mercy (support)). probably one of their best scouters/commers. always up there observing and ult tracking and shit. his bad habit is not wanting to play on the ground when the enemies have hitscan and getting caught out on maps without good air cover. but he's pretty good at getting those aerial assassinations. also, mercy is a useless ass character just by design, so i really hope i end up deciding ax or marco is willing to play support in a second, or this team's backline roster is FUCKED

cassie: support player. obviously. she probably habitually healbots and feels kind of flustered/anxious and generally bad if she has to take a 1v1. not to say that she doesn't still rip and tear if it comes down to it though. i feel like i could see her playing lucio? providing the speed amps/consistent healing, being good at stalling points, and using the ult to counter big enemy ults all seem like things i could see her doing. she would shoot in the general direction of enemies but never schmoove to capitalize on possible eliminations like a lucio ideally should, though. until she's the last one on point and then it's a bloodbath....she does what she must. juno is another one that has lower dps potential that i could see her using. lucio & juno also both have solid mobility which feels important bc wolves are like. theyre pretty agile

marco: good news, i've decided marco would be a great support player. i see him as an ana...backbone of the team, needs to make really cold calculated opportunistic plays to enable the team, can have a super high skill ceiling w/ a lot of strategy involved. anti nades are just very very marco in vibe to me. i also think he would enjoy getting to nano boost jake and be like [thinking in his head] YAY!!! GO FUCK THEM UP JAKE!!! JAKE IS SO AWESOME!!! JAKE GOT PLAY OF THE GAME BECAUSE HES THE BEST!!! but externally he's like [watching jake's potg] lol you missed that shot. and that shot. nice job fearless leader. anyway, i could also see kiriko or maaaybe brig for him because there's some similar skill ceilings/strategy involved but there's smth about how completely batshit ruthless and effective good ana plays can be that makes me think he's pretty solely their ana player

aximili: good news everyone, aximiniature is a dps player, so we have a solid 2-2-2 line-up here. this is also cute because it means ax and tobias are the dps shorm buddies. i do struggle to think of what dps feels the most...warrior-y, though. funnily enough echo's fragility + high-burst potential reminds me of the andalite deer-level slightness + tail blade, but tobias has permanent echo dibs. unless tobias wanted to play pharah? maybe they could be echo/pharah buddies and cassie or marco can accompany as mercy. continuing along this line of thought, genji or tracer might remind me the most of how ax fights. genji Does literally slice and dice during his ult...it feels like it would be ax-y to pick genji solely because he has a blade. but i think he would be willing to play whatever prince jake told him to. i think he could have flexible murdering capabilities.

also, i'm considering this a little too late into the post, but i think their Overall composition would skew towards dive. "get in, cause damage before anyone can react, and then get the fuck out before they're overwhelmed by retaliation" is literally how they operate in the text. like dive is definitely the most guerilla fighters type composition imo. so my final line-up suggestion for them might be jakey d.va, rachel hazard, tobias pharah or echo, ax genji or tracer, marco ana, and cassie juno or lucio. which IS a viable competition. the animorphs could survive overwatch

(oh and since i never actually mentioned anything about hazard in the main rachel text. dive tank with brawlier aspects about him. crazy high burst-damage one-shot potential. Crazy Ass playstyle)

Shadow awake in Silver timeline!? Gerald created silver hint!??

Since 2006 got erased, means shadows not trapped.

But Dr Gerald mention it takes two to open chaos portal/chaos control, sonic got retcon he can't do that in a recent interview.

So that leaves shadow and silver who can do chaos control...

Chaos control-power to manipulate time. As Shadow is shown to freeze time. While Silver shown to be a amped up version of this power as he can travel through time. imo i don't see him being born with those powers, unless he was engineered like Shadow. And Gerald already has experience working on Shadow creation.

Also time paradox Gerald if he had his memories... after seeing timeline messed with.... made me think did he create Silver!? Maria words there always a way for shadow and her to meet again.. but that would be time travel.....As shadow is destine to outlive everyone and watch them die due to his immortality which is sad.

Gerald dialogue in generations hinted he realized shadow would be alone and no family who long lived like him. plus the timeline being messed with. I don't see him sit back and let bad forced get away with it. thus Silver creation or set up. As silver could been in deep sleep after creation waking 200 years in the future. etc

This stood out to me for years on design traits between silver and black doom and shadow. and now with the reveal of black doom looking at shadow as perfect host...... but then noticed this.

1.black doom small head spikes on head, similar pattern on silver quills but longer . and the long side spikes on the side of the head......

2.black doom third eye,/the third eye is linked with psychic powers which silver has, as he can fly. Just as black doom does same as he levitates. so it is psychic powers.

3.The name Silver has meaning purity/protection also the meaning of Silver was used to fight curse/evil in myths with warewolves etc, and we got black doom race which looks like immortality/evil.

4. Silver concept had him as alien from a ancient race, Black doom is ancient alien race.

5. Silver eyeline color match with shadow markings, super form the black eyeliner turn red from his aura of super.. which found interesting.

6. Both shadow and Silver share chaos power manipulation of time, the portal hint it takes two. I think our shadow survive in silver timeline and is helping him travel back maybe??

7. Both shadow and silver have inhibiter rings, in project 2006 it is restored where original sonic 2006 it never activated, because game was bugged/unfinished. You can see silver restored inhibiter activate and close when his power switched on/off

I've noticed black doom chains have Silver theme color and some cyan...

I think Gerald if he did engineer Silver based of shadow dna but went full cleaning removing mutation genes. Making Silver immune to black doom mutation as seen with Doom shadow powers. Also silver psychic powers show he has strong mental focus, immune to hive mind manipulation that black doom holds over the race.

Basically gerald could made silver as protection for shadow beside family. (a fail safe backup) A way to fight black doom trying to control shadow or make connection to shadow. Since Silver would be immune from black doom mind control, and could help shadow stay focused.

We did not see much of silver in sonic x shadow generations, So am curious what going on. since this would been perfect to bring him into the story plot with the time eater, unless sega saving it for later.

Also side mention mephiles to back up shadow and silver connection possibility, he took on shadow form. his shadow correct. But here the problem. mephiles does not have black doom dna or red markings, instead he is silver/black color. So i do wonder if shadow would have had silver/black without black doom dna influence in his dna for red coloring, it might been silver original in the hedgehog dna make up.

Honestly could be maybe, plus Shadow would have family now who long lived liked him thx to gerald, A son. for the chaos control theory to open time portal.

Chainsaw Man Chapter 148 not so early analysis

Bit later than usual cause college and I wanted to look into something from part 1.

Fumiko has been continuing the trend of being absolutely useless in every situation shes ever been put in to the point I feel confident in saying she CANT fight. This clearly isn't a kobeni situation where she can fight if necessary because she hasn't even really been trying to fight or protect anyone. It's the point I've actually started to believe the theory that Fumiko is actually Aldo in disguise.

For a refresher Aldo was one of the american assassin brothers who got picked off at the beginning of the arc by Power and Yoshida respectively. However Aldo survived the entire arc and has been awol ever since. He's also surprisingly durable since he survived both of these attacks with minimal injury.

He may or may not have been hit by halloween, Given his facial expression I it seems like he's faking it especially since Halloween was used on the doll devil and so should logically only effect her dolls which Aldo is not.

I went back through these chapters expecting to find a smoking gun that could prove this to be true. Specifically I was looking for a scene where he or one of the brothers was holding an ID card which could be matched against the way Fumiko holds it, But I did not find that.

This is the best I found but it's also standard practice so it isn't good evidence. Back to the chapter itself, It's clear now Quanxi is just going through the motions

She's clearly been lacking when it comes to combat and athletics in these previous few chapters in comparison to her original appearance. She's been sort of stumbling through these chapters with the help of her regeneration. Which is a bit strange until you keep in mind; Quanxi is more than likely SUPER depressed. The last time we saw her before this was when she fought Denji and the previous time before that was when everyone she cared about got murdered by Makima. It's probable that she blames herself for it because she took the job to kill Denji and thus got her and the girls into the situation that killed them in the first place.

The transition between these two pages is so good I had to do a double take because my immediate though was that Quanxi was the one who got her arm cut off. But then obviously it's Asa's. You can feel the inspiration from good movie transitions here.

This whole scene is very cool and also very interesting because Asa is able to block Yoshida's sword with her barehand. She got such an amp from the chainsaw fire attacks that she can do this. It also means she has basically the same base stats as yoru. Which is to be expected but I think is interesting.

It seems like this page was drawn before the rest of the one in this sequence because Yoshida is busting through a wall here despite the fact Room 606 was just destroyed; Thus there should be no wall to bust through to escape onto the street. Interestingly the other personality is absent in this scene entirely. We never see Yoru and Asa in the same panel which is an interesting choice. Its probably a creative choice to only have one of them around in major action scenes. Feels like a good time to mention a theory I saw on twitter. I've been trying to find it but I've had no luck. If I can find it it'll probably be apart of next week's post. To summarize the theory; Asa and Yoru are the same entity. Not two separate beings in one body. Asa the human we met at the beginning of part 2 has been dead since the justice (fire) contract user killed her. The Asa we see now is a split personality reconstructed using the intact memories in the body's brain at the time she became a fiend. If true it means Asa is an alternate persona created by Yoru in order to cause more conflict within herself (constant internal warfare) and as a coping mechanism due to the chainsaw devil massacre in hell. Its an interesting theory I want to put on the board incase something happens with it especially since Yoru is growing in strength rapidly. Probably how Black Pochita was schooling them during it.

Biography:

Sunsprite was born to Ruby Rose and Jaune Arc. Named after a yellow rose that represents to feel positive and hope, and the promise of a new beginning. Like her mother, Ruby, Sunsprite is born with silver eyes.

She was born during the time of the 2nd Great War in Vale. As an infant, it was the only time Sunsprite sees her mother, but Ruby feared Salem will come after Sunsprite (due to the fact that she has silver eyes). To lure Salem away from her daughter, Ruby resolves to leave. But not before telling Jaune, and asked him to give Sunsprite a letter when she turns 17.

After Ruby left, Jaune was left to raise his daughter on his own, with the help of his older sister, Saphron, and Ruby's older sister, Yang. This way, Sunsprite will still be surrounded by love and family, even during the hard times in the 2nd Great War.

As Sunsrpite grew up, her aunt Yang would not only spoil her and spend some time with her, but also taught her niece hand-to-hand combat. Then Jaune would teach her swordsmanship, but she prefers to fight without a shield in order to excel in her speed.

Later, she would meet her honorary great-uncle, Qrow Branwen, one of the surviving huntsmen that has been watching over Sunsprite from a distance until now. And the one who taught Sunsprite's mother the ways of the scythe. Qrow then taught her on her to use a scythe.

When Sunsprite is ready, Jaunes passed her his own weapon, Crocea Mors, which has been in the family for generations. With this, Sunsprite would readjust the family sword so that it can also turn into a scythe. Jaune doesn't mind this, since he acknowledged her creativity and strategy.

After she turns 17, Jaune finally gives Sunsprite the letter. On the letter, Ruby explains her reason for leaving for the fear of her safety. But encourages her to fight for what she believes in. It also includes a journal that tells her stories about her friends, her time in Beacon Academy, and her journey for the four relics.

During one of her missions, she is helping evacuating the civilians in the town of Sunset Island, when the Grimm got too closer to the crowd, Sunsprite wasted no time to fend off the protect the citizens. It also unlocks the semblance of Rose Manifest (which turns her into Rose pedals to switch from one to to another).

Personality:

Since then, Sunsprite has become the leader of the Knights of Arc. A group of hunters that serve as protectors of the weak and aiding the Resisatnce. Because of this, Sunsprite unlocked her father's semblance, Aura Amp. Which is surprising, cause never before a huntsman and/or huntress can unlock two semblance, and she is the first to do so.

And because of her dedication for the rebellion, Sunsprite became known as "the Silver-eyed Knight of Remnant."

Sunsprite is similar to her mother, Ruby, intelligent of strategy, and filled with dreams despite being involved in the 2nd Great War. And filled with nostalgia when hearing fairy tales as a child. She tried her best to remain positive throughout her battles. Like Ruby, she also has a sweet-tooth for sweets such as cookies, or other baked goods. And would make them from her grandmother's recipe.

She would refer to her father, Jaune as a "Super Dad," who told her fairy tales in Ruby's absence and spending time with her when not fighting in war. For that, she is close to her father, even if he is absent for busy reasons. Which Sunsprite doesn't mind.

Sunsprite dreams of writing her stories, and would write down her journal previous events, so that if the war is won, she can convert them into a book. Writing down her journal, Sunsprite longed to meet her mother since she left. And was curious about what caused her to leave.

goddd the new alien stage comic is so good 😭 i'm so glad we finally got an mizi-centric pov she's super interesting. ngl but i also see parts of me in mizi as well. which is why it's frustrating that people r calling her this evil manipulator who was a wolf in sheeps clothing all along.

i do think she probably played up her naivety occasionally (mostly to protect herself), though she's most definitely viewing herself in an more negative light due to her survivors guilt. it's just so exhausting seeing people dumb her down to this one dimensional "mastermind" instead of an complex character. she's been through hell—lost all of her friends/lover and is basically now all alone. ppl taking her blaming herself for their deaths as some confirmation that she pretended to be innocent solely for survival and wanted them dead for her sake is just so... Hm. not to mention she risked her life in r7 to save till even tho it was basically an lost cause. would she of done that if she was using them to survive?

i really enjoy this more twisted side of her however!! her being tormented by their deaths uhggfh i cant wait for her sub song. i've been an huge mizi fan for ages and was so tired of people seeing her as this happy go-lucky innocent girl. i KNEW there was more!! also seeing a more toxic side of mizisua.. i need to see more. i know they're extremely co-dependant on eachother to the point it's borderline unhealthy so i really do hope vivimeng explore this side more too cause i was sooo sick of ppl saying they weren't lowkey toxic. toxic yuri is like... vivinos speciality.

but aside from that it's super interesting how some form of heteronormativity and patriarchal ideas have seemed to have stayed in this universe. but it does make sense. it seems like io was in some sort of breeding farm in the comic showing baby till which is SO HORRIFYING to think about. women can't even be free of societal expectations to be babymakers—even when humanity is on the bring of extinction. biological births are probably a lot less expensive and complex than cloning or other artificial means. they don't even view it as an act of intimacy or even call it sex. it's mating. so primal. it's basically reducing humans down to our animalistic nature. god segyeins get more evil with every lore drop.

as a lesbian myself i've had so many of my friendships with men ruined because they've developed feelings for me and thinking me wanting to be their friend meant i was attracted to them. my kindness was taken and twisted into something it wasn't. they'd get mad or ghost me after i rejected them, saying i lead them on. seeing the temu luka get mad at mizi just reminded me so much of what i've faced. it's such a warped reflection of our reality. instantly getting aggressive when you don't fit into their idea of you. i felt so seen by it. mizi how i wish to hug you and tell u ur more than ur looks.. So cruel she can't even escape objectification even in an post-apocalyptic world.

overall i think this comic was a really interesting look into both mizi and sexuality + gender. im rlly glad that we finally have confirmation that mizi is a lesbian... esp in a way that a lot of lesbians can connect and relate to.

i also feel like mizi fits into the fawn response. which is why she amps up her innocent act. it's her way to avoid conflict and danger, even if it's at the expense of her well-being and others around hers. i could rant abt that as well but i don't wanna waffle in ur inbox too much so i'll just leave it at this

I do agree though, I do not think mizi master manipulated everyone 😭 survivors guilt is beating her ass extremely bad and clearly it’s manifesting as a self image of being extremely cruel/someone who uses others when… we’ve never seen mizi actually do anything that would lead us to think that was her intention; just her spiraling thoughts

you do bring up a good point that she did risk her life trying to get to till, despite her best chances at surviving being to stay alongside Hyuna and do what their plan (which was confirmed not to be a rescue for till) originally was. I can’t think she’s in a good spot mentally to be like ‘oh this was the plan all along’ when no one could have seen that double kill coming, it’s no wonder she’s trying to rationalize it by blaming herself/taking this cruel outlook on herself.

thank you SO much for asking this because i've been wanting an excuse to talk about this boy ( ๑˘ω˘ ) like yours, i also wrote a LOT so i apologize in advance

okay so. i think i've said before that his enhancements are like if daredevil and captain's americas abilities combined but ill explain it in more detail for people who aren't totally sure about the specifics of that

the tl;dr is basically this: archie has enhanced strength and heightened senses. he's about 4 times as strong as the average male his age, and similarly as resilient. because of his enhanced strength, he can also run faster and jump higher (the boy has quads of steel). he can also see and hear much clearer and farther than your average human and can even hear heartbeats from a decent distance away!

under the cut is a lottt more detail and context for those who are interested!

so basically, i'm gonna start with some backstory.

archie's villain (hero) origin story:

archie grew up in the city and was never very. affluent.

he grew up with his mother because his father left when he was really young. he doesn't remember him well, but what he does remember is the effect his absence had on his mom. to put it briefly, he grew up around a lot of things that a child shouldn't have had to grow up around.

still, his mother did her absolute best to give him a good, safe childhood. unfortunately, there are things you just cant protect your child from.

when he was about 7, he was walking home from school and goofing around like a kid does, and he somehow got roped into a drug deal that was being made just a block from his apartment.

long story short, the guys were roughing him up (they were assholes.) and one of them was messing around and pretending to stick him with one of the syringes.

and then he actually did.

and it was agony.

poor, tiny archie was immediately overcome with the worst pain he'd ever experienced in his life to this day.

to avoid this section becoming a straight up 100k fic, ill just say that the recovery from the initial contact with the serum took archie weeks to recover from, and it many ways, he hasn't.

the boy is terrified of needles.

about the drug itself:

so you're gonna have to bear with me her because i am not a biochemist, and this might not make any sense.

so the drug, which i've dubbed VSD (Very Scary Drug) was originally made by a very shady crime syndicate, for underground fighting rings, kind of like a steroid but more permanent. the drug has 2 parts.

the first part of it works by acting on a specific DNA sequence, and spurring HGH (Human Growth Hormone) to amp up its production in the skeletal muscle cells, bone cells, and neuromuscular junctions (for better and faster reflexes)

the other part alters the somatosensory cortex, occipital lobe, and temporal lobe, and esentially causes them to be extremely active, to a point beyond human ability, but because of the first part of the drug, it's able to heal itself and create new cells

because VSD was designed to be permanent, it is very dangerous and not for everyone. the thing about it is that you have to be genetically compatible with it, or the entire thing could backfire or malfunction. only about 1 in every 100k people are even able to reap the effects of the drug. about 1 in every 100 even survive taking it at the dose archie recieved it.

if someone incompatible takes the drug, the effects are. dire. they can range from blindness, deafness, loss of sensation throughout the entire body, tumors, complete paralysis, and even the body just. not producing more cells. and then the vicitim would just deteriorate.

so yeah! not a fun time! and archie was incredibly lucky. the drug was obviously discontinued, and archie hasn't heard of anyone else who recieved the same effects that he did. there are only drugs that can do similar things now, but none are permant like archie's, and the abilities dont even begin to compare.

now what the hell can archie actually do?

well, let's first start with what he can't do.

the drug has no cognitive or behavioral effects, so archie is still the same old archie, only his body has changed.

the drug also has no effect on the immune system, both innate and adaptive. archie can get sick the same as any person, and has the same recovery time too!

now lets move on to the fun stuff!

like i said before, archie has about 4 times the strength as your average male his age. because of his muscle mass and bone density, he is also relatively resilient to injuries from "normal" people, but he's not like. invincible. if you smack that boy with a brick, its gonna hurt. he is sometimes unaware of his own strength and limits though, and throws himself to situations with the mindset of "this isnt even gonna scatch me" and is proven very wrong.

as for his senses, we'll start with vision

he can see about twice as far as your average person, and with clarity beyond even 20/20. he is also very privy to noticing small movements, even if theyre in his peripheral.

now hearing! he can hear much much quieter things than your average human. im not totally sure how to quantify this one, but basically he is hearing like.. everything. all the time. which we'll get into later. the way i gauge it is the fact than he can hear heartbeats, even when he'd just standing next to the person.

and lastly (and probably least interestingly) touch! he can feel sensations a lot more clearly than most. the sensation you would have on your fingertips is kind of what he feels all over, and it makes him have pretty bad sensory issues with certain things (me too archie, me too.)

how can we whump this boy?!

okay, now onto the drawbacks of these abilities!

you're probably thinking "bug. how are there even any drawbacks? these abilities seem sick asf! how do i get my hands on VSD?!"

and i'm here to tell you. NO no you do not want this. archie still suffers every day.

the first and most obvious one is the unimaginable sensory overload this boy feels every day. he hardly ever gets a quiet moment, and even when he does, he still can't tune out the sound of his own heartbeat thundering in his ears. it's hell. luckily, hes had 17 years to learn to cope, but he still has days where he curls into a ball in a dark room and sobs because everything is too bright and so so loud

also, the drug isn't painless. since the muscle mass isn't natural, prolonged use of his body (like in fights) cause horrific aches the days after. it feels like his body is trying to tear itself apart, which, it kind of is.

also, the headaches. god, the headaches. the human brain does not take kindly to being toyed with and doesn't archie know it. archie is sort just. in a perpetual headache. and he only really notices when that headache becomes a migraine. get this boy some ibuprofen, please.

another thing is increased appetite. because cells can't just synthesize out of nowhere, archie has to keep up with the rapid production. this boy can EAT. he is always hungry. always snacking.

lastly, the psychological aspect of the whole thing. growing up as a superhuman, where even playing thumb war could break your classmate's thumb, was hard. archie lived most of his childhood keeping to himself in fear of his own strength. as he got older, he learned to manage it a bit better, but he's still very anxious about it. he won't let himself near babies, cats, or small dogs.

and then, of course, there's the trauma. this manifests as a SEVERE needle phobia, as well as just a fear of doctors in general. its the reason why he and Simon's relationship just works. he doesn't see him as a doctor, he sees him as a friend who is always willing to take care of him when he needs it, and for that, he is forever grateful

By duplicating himself before canceling the transformation before fusing again, he can clone the Omnitrix and the user of it, and the resulting duplicates can transform into different aliens

His special ability is electrokinésis, capable of manipulate, produce, and absorb all type of electrical energy.

His tentacles can stretch.

Can fly.

As he lacks bones, can go through very narrow areas.

Can breathe underwater.

Can travel within electric currents.

Can survive in the vacuum of space.

Can generate a protective energy shield around himself.

Can be intangible and electrocute things by passing them on.

Can adhere on walls and ceilings.

Weaknesses:

There is a limit to the number of duplicates than can make.

His screams can hurt his teamates' hears.

If a clone is hurt, it does not recover again due to some transformations later.

Because the clones are made of silicone, they can easily be destroyed by a powerful beam.

Is weak against enemies that can drain his electricity.

His intangibility is useless against other beings that can also become intangible.

His body is very fragile, so heavy things that fall on him would leave him unconscious.

Can use his electricity underwater, but if he is using electricity when entering the water, or only part of him is in the water, he will electrocute himself.
