Mix of knk and first god
Imagine mc accidentally turn themselves as a child and came to ask Nyx for help in their situation
Nyx has to hold back her mryth at your predicament. While yes she didn't often show her emotions and had excellent control this was a more then amusing sight. A rather adorable one at that. "My my oh great one it seems you've found yourself in a predicament. I assume you'd like some help?"
Grumpy at your new lack of height and such you just huff out a, "Yes." This was degrading to suddenly be a *child* and so far anyone else you *tried* talking to went and started laughing so hard they couldn't breath! They were all very lucky you weren't a vengeful God and most likely would laugh at this later...alone they didn't need to know that. Let them feel bad about if you were mad or not for a while.
Nyx would proceed to ever so gently guide you on how to shift your form, something all gods could do. Though she did admit this was the first time one had become a child that she could remember right now. "Great one please be more careful when exploring your returning powers. Perhaps seek out aid before you practice?" If pictures had been invented Nyx would have taken oh so many.

I liked how the gods either treated first god as a senile old person, rebellious teenager, or a normal adult
Sometimes they just wanted to vibe with things as goes hinting how Hypnos is the greate grandson of the first god so explain the layback attitude but when serious Thanatos have that attitude
The reason they treat reader in so many ways is the reader themselves is in a complex state. They are both the first God the creator of all, and some young mortal challenged by the world of gods. Physically they can't ignore your status but the mentality of a mortal clings to you.
They don't know how to help or 'fix' the situation so they treat you how ever the moment requires to make you happy. You are the one they choose to worship after all, plus the familial bond is there. Which gets a little weird when romance is introduced. But gods don't have the normal blood relations mortals do since they have ichor and not blood. The title of family is by bond not so much DNA. Or that's how I like to view it because yes the gods have a family wreath but I don't want to focus on that.
Reader is pretty laid back too, but that just makes when they get serious all the more scary to the gods. They haven't even seen reader mad yet because how slow they are to anger; and the gods desperately don't want that to be them who causes it. Well except Ares. Ares wants to see you loose your shit and go feral, it's a fascination for him. Will you throw hands? Get violent? Or just yell? So many ways it could play out and he wants to see it desperately. He does get accused of it being a kink ngl.

on one hand
yay! marriage counseling! Zeus will treat Hera better, thus inducing Hera's wrath at least less frequently!
on the other hand I feel there would be so much tension, nobody behaves quite like Zeus, but just imagine the gods slowly starting to clean up their acts in terror of befalling the same fate as their father/uncle/brother; disappointing the First God immeasurably
everyone's shifting a little uncomfortably, and I can just see Poseidon (who in Hades is similar in demeanor to Zues) metaphoricslly tugging his collar in stress
the generations of mortals living are either gonna catch the biggest break of their lives or the buried frustration and big feelings of the gods
I personally like to think the mortals will have an easier time. Because the gods notice quickly that reader loves the mortals. They know it was from the false life the reader had as a mortal, that you had sympathy for them; but the way you defend them over the gods who worship you so makes them all upset.
Poseidon tries not to think on the reader's gaze and disappointment turning on him. So rather then tempt the fates to make it so he acts like everything is normal. The friendly jovial attitude the God of the seas has does help reader not focus on his other actions. Plus he brought reader a baby pegasus which put him in their good books.

First God to Hera, right in front of Zeus: "You're the goddess of marriage, right? How about you retrain as the goddess of a happy marriage and get out of here? ;)))"
They will make sure that the weight of his sins will drop on his shoulders.
Reader definitely suggests divorce and Hera finding someone new. And as mad as Zeus wants to be about it the look on the first God's face just makes him crumble. He's more upset that reader is disappointed or mad at him then the thought of Hera's situation.
Hera however is insistent they can work this out, which has reader taking the role of marriage counselor. A few of these sessions actually have Zeus crying. Which has reader thinking maybe just maybe old gods can learn new tricks.

first God reader scolding Zeus my absolute beloved, he had better be bringing his best behavior to Hera after, first gods orders 😤
To be fair Hera isn't perfect either. She's bitter, jealous, and vengeful in the myths. But to reader it's all Zeus' actions that cause Hera's fits.
But man Zeus is for once having consequences and to him its the worst of all. The first God is *disappointed* in him.

A funny concept for the first God self aware hades au is reader being a staunch anti-Zeus myth nerd. Like they root for Hera to get a divorce. Then one day they're infront of Zeus and the man is praising them and they just Nope the fuck outta there.
And Zeus, Mr.king of the gods is following reader like a lost puppy. Why won't they acknowledge him? What lies had the titans fed you? Please give him attention.
He gets more and more salty everytime he sees you praise or spend time with the others. Reader ends up having to spend time with him just to prevent another war breaking out. But spends the entire time making him admit what stories were true or not so you can properly scold him for his behavior.

Got to Scylla and almost beat her on my first try.
Moros is my beloved I want to give him soft kisses and wrap him in a blanket.
So for an early Xmas gift I was able to order myself (with help from my dad) a Steam deck and Hades 2. So long as the deck comes in I'll finally be able to play. Which will mean asks for it will be open again.

Fun fact: no one in Greek culture wore trousers. Those were dismissed as the dress of non-Greek “barbarians.”
Now imagine their reactions when they see their beloved first god in pair of ripped jeans. And then Chaos takes the example of his parent and begins to wear suit as well. So much confusion and bewilderment (if not horror) XD
They at first think reader had been forced into some sort of horrible servitude. Forced to wear trousers and look how torn they are! You deserve to be wrapped in the finest silks and gems etc here you were in rags.
You only find out they all had issues when Aphrodite asks if the many peices of clothing hadn't been good enough. The fact you *enjoy* the pants has some curious. So a few gods who don't care too much about looks gives them a try.
Queue Zagreus being sent to his room after he tried to wear pants out on the job. Just because the first God does it doesn't mean Hades would allow his kin to go around in them. He still begs reader to wear proper clothing while visiting.
Chaos is living for the whole situation. The gods are in disarray over cloth. It's amusing and when they try the pants well they decide they quiet like them. Of course the first God would see things the others couldn't.

How does Kabru’s party react to the Touden party having a child with them? I’m kind of imagining a scenario where Kuro picks up the scent of a child after they wake up from the treasure insects incident.
Kabru's party panics. Kabru is definitely using this as an excuse to confirm the Touden siblings are evil. Why would someone bring a child to the dungeon unless they had nefarious intentions!
Kabru's party has gone to the surface a few times now while the Touden party had been trying to go deeper and deeper. So they do out their ears out to hear about any missing kids. It worries them all more when they hear nothing.
At one point Kuro offers the idea maybe they found the kid in the dungeon which just ignites some debates. But now Kabru is *excited* by this because it was a mystery. Obviously the Touden party was still up to something but now he had to figure out the presence of a child.

Rolling around a Knak idea for the dragon age veilguard. Considering making reader the child of Solas and Lavellan!Inquisitior.
He assumes he couldn't have kids and he wasn't. But a real God interviewed and next thing he knows he's a dad.
But reader is reader and well aware of everything. Isekaied into the tiny body that was never supposed to be.
All because I want Solas' child's first words to be calling him a bitch.

The hades self aware au has me screaming. I have an idea that if first god is really traumatized and being pissed about having to live a traumatizing mortal life absolutely wiping the floor with the titans that imprisoned them.
Like…
ID BE THROWING MORE THAN HANDS
Oh, absolutely. It doesn't help the life felt so real. You loose who was the real 'you', are you the God or the mortal? Each version of you is so different, as a mortal you were powerless, but as a God you held all the power.
You blame them for this disconnect from yourself, you blame them for all the pain you endured, you blame them for teaching you what it truly means to feel hopeless. So when you get the chance to get revenge and protect those you care for the titans best find someone to pray to; because you will have *no* mercy.

I'm doing a little better guys. They have me on some new meds and a strict no news/politics/anything stressful order. I feel like a big baby but the step away has been super helpful. I'm hoping to come back full time soon. Though depending when I do it might be mid dragon age obsession. So good luck with that lol.
But fr if anyone wants to talk dragon age reach out. I'm dying to talk about it.
Details on health below
So my doc is holding off on the schizophrenia diagnosis leaning to more schizo-active and before that can be diagnosed she wants me to get checked for a brain tumor because of how quickly my memory is starting to fail more and more.
The suicidal feelings are back to being passive so I'm good on that front! I know being passive isn't like perfect but I'll take it.

whats the other writing blog like? original stories? 👀
It's a Danny phantom x dc crossover blog. I'm running it differently then here much more balls to the walls style. I'm reblogging other people's work there and plan to just put idea out there rather then take request actively.
I've always considered making my own stuff. Maybe reboot the old novel I wrote when I was 10. Or world building for the many fantasy ideas I have. But no one ever seemed interested in original stuff from me. So I just dropped it. Could even have done a yandere x read original stuff. Got ocs and a world all built.

Delicious in Dungeon knak idea... Give the reader a slingshot and make them a good shot. Aim for the eyes of any non slime or plant monster; head shots for all 👀
Content warnings Canon style violence
Chilchuk was the one to give you the sling shot. He knew it would at most buy you time should you be in a fight and have to engage. But really the entire group preferred the idea of you hidden away from the monsters. Truly he and Senshi would have preferred getting you back to the surface. A child of any race didn't belong in a dungeon. But their mission is time sensitive so they can't take you back. But they couldn't abandon you either.
The slingshot chilchuk gave you was old, and if you asked him why he'd explain that as a child you don't have a lot of strength to pull back the sling so an older more worn in one would be easier. You'd get stronger, probably graduate to a newer one. If you ended up with them long enough.
No one expected your aim to be any good. Liaos commenting on how being new at it you might hit one of them. That night while being taught, you showed him just how powerful spite could be as a motivator. And if you feigned a few small misfires to knock the man in the head he didn't notice. Everyone else did but no one complained. You didn't hurt Liaos after all just gave him a couple tiny bruises. He got worse from his own armor sometimes.
They still all try to keep you out of battle. Keeping you in the back with Marcille when they can. But the cover fire you help with while not strong enough to kill yet you do make openings; which is just as valuable to them.

Hmm knak au w/ Delicious in Dungeon would be hilarious. Like imagine reader is a young half-foot, the double wammy of being a child as the one race that's confused for human children all the time
I want to do half-foot too because it's cute. But I don't think the ever looming threat of such a short life span would be fun. So how about a dwarf? Still small and cute. Plus Senshi would just dive deeper into dad mode.
This is set pre finding Falin hence no Itsumi
Content warning: Canon violence mentions, eating monsters, panic attack mention
The group finds you in their task to find Falin. It wasn't hard to when they could hear your crying. And why wouldn't you be crying? You had woken up in some unknown place, a place where everything was so big that you felt small. Well that had been your assumption that everything was big, they you looked at your hand and had your *first* panic attack.
Then things got *worse*, you ran into actual monsters. And all you could do was run. Run and hide and pray to whatever diety would listen to save you. You couldn't help the tears as you bunkered down in the cubby hole in the wall.
The sound of a child crying had put the entire group on edge. Was it a new monster mimicking a child? But ultimately the group decided to check. And their shock was intense as they found a small Dwarven child sobbing in a hole in a wall. The kid was lucky the cleaners hadn't started fixing the hole.
It took some time to lure you out and Liaos had almost been tempted to leave you. Not out of malicious intent. But their mission was time sensitive, and a kid would slow them down... but those thoughts were quickly silenced with his own guilt at having considered it.
Marcille was asking how you got here, she hoped a group of adventures wouldn't bring a *child* into the dungeon. But only had more questions when you said you woke up here. You didn't tell her the whole truth about your origins, fear of being abandoned in such a dangerous place overruling the instinct to tell the truth.
Senshi is already working on a meal. He knows they can get answers later, right now the youngin need to eat. If they woke up in the dungeon they probably hadn't have eaten. It also helped cooking made him calm, and the entire situation had him stressed.
Chilchuk was just as panicked. There was a child in the dungeon. Had some adventure group drugged or used sleep magic to keep you unconscious to use as monster bait? With his guild protecting the half-foots did some horrible group decide to get *creative*. That could be figured out later. Right now he had to convince the group to take you back to the surface... a task he didn't know he could manage. Either way he refused to leave a child like this, flashes of his own daughters in his mind fueling that.

I have a wired idea of mixing knk and god au, but with our favorite vampire boy images there is a prophecy that the vampire god of theirs will be reborn
When finding them it's just this lil gremlin child who may or may not be half human because their dad is a bard and mom is some random magical person
Sadly that wouldn't work. Reader is isekai-ed, the body they are in has no parents in this world. It'd just their normal body gone kid mode. So that would be kinda against the au.
That being said I actually do have some plans involving reader being assumed a fledgling God or a demi-god. The way their magic works is just *so* different that it brings doubt to their mortality. Magic has worked how it has for mortals since the beginning. Yet reader breaks the basic rules of magic with no consequence.
Eventually Gale is going to start considering the idea after an intrusive thought. Now he won't bring it up to reader but it might slip to a few party members. If it's true or not will remain a mystery for now.
