The one where having a secret lab in the basement is not as much of a red flag as it should be.

Because somehow, EVERY. SINGLE. ADULT. IN ALL OF AMITY. Have “secret” basements.

Sure, MOST of them have refitted them to act as emergency bunkers in case there’s another large-scale ghost attack, with rations and shields and blankets and all that, BUT. Even BEFORE the portal opened up, they were there.

Some of them were laboratories dedicated to one of many sciences. Some of them were just storage for the more concerning family heirlooms. At least one person kept the taxidermied bodies of each and every pet they had over their lifetime. Really, it was more odd for someone to not have some weird secret in their basement.

So when Danny ran from Amity and learned just how many people didn’t have strange, niche basements for their hobbies, he was a little put off. When he was eventually asked to stay with the Wayne family in Gotham, well, maybe he could have phrased it better.

How was he supposed to know that asking if they had a “super-secret basement either for your job, your personal life, or disaster prevention” would lead to them thinking he knew about their nightlife?

If you're upset by his behavior that's a you problem Goku's just doing Goku #He's only upset when Other People get hurt because 2) almost none of those negative qualities contain any malice whatsoever #even as a kid when he was 'i killed that guy' it was like 'i solved a problem why are you mad (gen)' not 'good fucking riddance lol'#and he kept that as an adult too even when he learned more about compassion he's still 'well if you're not gonna stop i have to kill you'#it's never 'fuck off and die' it's always 'listen buddy either you knock it off or i knock you out there is no option c '#and god i love that Goku. I spent so long thinking I hated Goku growing up but I only hated Toei's Goku. Very unpopular opinion but I personally would only be fine with a LM movie as long as it is not the sequel. I honestly just want the bros to work together in the next movie and not be separated again.

Well, given the Yoshi tease in the post-credits scene, I don't think Luigi's Mansion will be the sequel, which is fine by me. I am dying for the next movie to be a brotherly road trip story that shows Mario and Luigi becoming the true heroes of The Mushroom Kingdom rather than just two brave plumbers who got lucky. They work through their remaining self doubt, going from "wow, can't believe two goobers like us survived that one" to actually embracing the roles they are known for today, side by side the whole way through.

THEN we get the Luigi's Mansion movie!!!

From Timeranger to Gokaiger there were 5 shows that used flip phones as henshin devices. But from Go-Buster to Kiramager, only Zyuogher used a phone/rubic cube and Kiramager used a smart watch. Why didn't Sentai used smartphones as henshin devices? Is it because smartphones look boring lack the inherent coolness and playability of flip phones? Or is it because Kyoryuger made Bandai thought weapons should be henshin devices instead?

I think it's because regular smartphones don't have a dynamic action like flip phone do/did. There is something really cool about being able to flip open your device and punch in a code. I mean, that was what a younger me thought was absolutely cool as heck about Kamen Rider 555's henshin sequence. There is one Sentai-adjacent series that HAS used smartphones though. The High School Heroes had a phone app that allowed the heroes and the villains to transform.
