Add all ingredients to a blender. If you’re using sugar as opposed to simple syrup, blend without ice for 10 to 20 seconds to dissolve the sugar. Then add 8 oz. ice, and blend on high for 10 or so seconds, until all the ice is thoroughly crushed. Pour into a tall glass, and garnish with an orange slice or peel.

Another way to capture the height of Summer in a bottle is to make this beautifully fragrant, bright orange Apricot Liqueur. Whether you sip it pure or mix it into cocktails, this is as close as liquid sunshine as it can get! And if you mix it with a little Lavender Liqueur, you can almost hear the cicadas and you are in Provence! Cheers!
Ingredients (makes about 445 millilitres/15 fluid ounces):
half a dozen large, very ripe apricots
375 millilitres/1 1/2 cup neutral alcohol, like vodka (at least 40%)
1/3 cup caster sugar
2/3 cup water
Thoroughly rinse apricots, and pat them dry.
Halve and pit apricots and place apricot halves in a sterelised jar.
Cover with vodka, and close the jar tightly. Give a good shake, and place the jar on a shelf, in a draught-free place, away from direct sunlight.
Let sit for a fortnight, shaking the jar once a day every day.
After two weeks, strain apricot-flavoured alcohol into a bowl, through a fine mesh sieve. (You can use the soaked apricots to make an!)
Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine caster sugar and water. Heat over a medium flame, stirring occasionally until sugar is completely dissolved.
Once it is, increase heat to high, and boil rapidly for a few minutes until syrup just thickens. Remove from the heat and allow to cool completely.
Once cooled, stir sugar syrup into strained apricot alcohol, until completely blended.
Pour Apricot Liqueur into a sterelised glass bottle and close tightly.
You can drink Apricot Liqueur pure and chilled, as a digestive, topped with chilled Champagne or mixed into cocktails...

Pehle badam ko garam pani mein 5-6 ghante bhigo dein ya raat bhar ke liye chor dein.
Subah badam ke chilke utar kar unhein mixer mein daal kar acha se paste bana lein.
Ab doodh ko mixer mein dal kar ache se blend karein taake doodh aur badam ka mixture ek ho jaye.
Ab elaichi powder aur shehad ya chini mila kar phir se blend karein.
Agar aap thanda milkshake banana chahte hain to ice cubes daal kar blend karen.
Aapka badam milkshake tayar hai, ab ise glass mein daal kar serve karein.
5 large ripe mangoes (about 15 ounces each), peeled, pitted and cut into ½ inch pieces (about 8 cups), or 2 ½ pounds frozen mango, defrosted
¼ cup granulated sugar, or to taste
¼ cup fresh lime juice (from two fresh limes)
1 ½ cups water, or as needed
¾ cup tequila or rim (optional)
¾ to 1 cup chamoy
Tajin, to taste
4 tamarind candy straws (optional)
Preparation
Place 5 cups mango in a blender, reserving the remaining mango. Add the sugar, lime juice and ¾ cup water to the blender, and blend on medium-high speed until puréed. Blend in tequila or rum, if using. Blend in additional water, adding ¼ at a time, until mango mixture reaches desired consistency.
Chill mango mixture, covered, in the refrigerator until ready to serve. For a colder mangonada, transfer the mixture to the freezer until it reaches the consistency of a slushy.
To serve, pour or soup ½ cup of mango mixture into each of 4 (16 ounce) glasses. Add about ⅓ cup reserved mango to each glass, followed by 1 ½ to 2 tablespoons chamoy and a generous sprinkle of Tajin. Repeat with the remaining mango mixture, mango pieces, chamoy and a final sprinkling of Tajin on top. Garnish each glass with a tamarind candy straws, if using, and a spoon. Serve immediately.
