Space AU Holiday truce gift
Happy holiday @bibliophilea.
Your promps were inspiering. I wanted to do all of them but settled on this one. I wanted to write but couldn’t think of anything si I turned to art. I was not going to do a comic, just a drawing of the gang. I drew the frames for the picture and then I was doing a comic strip. So here it is.

season 3 janeway hanging out with her kiddies more is a big fave era of the AU for meeeeeeeee <3 she's awkward at it but she's trying :')
Resolutions and Basics happen and it's the beginning of a shift for her in feeling like she actually wants to be a mother. It's a slow burn up through Coda which conveniently shares an anniversary with Threshold = their first birthday, seeing what she's missing (though the alien in Coda would probably try to frame it in her mind as being like "they're going to be fine without you" but she'd see it and be like "im missing these moments with them :(" and afterwords she'd finally make the decision to be more involved in their lives.

yk now that I'm thinking about Deja Q again, I definitely feel like Q's admission of guilt and shame for Data's (almost) sacrifice should have been met with SOMETHING other than dismissal by Picard.
This is the Q who was ready to snap your entire species out of existence simply because he didn't personally deem you worthy of existing.
This is the Q who was so flippant about loss of mortal life that he flicked you halfway across the universe to introduce you to the Borg, only to essentially laugh in your face for being upset about the deaths of 18 crew members.
This is the Q who, earlier in the very same episode, practically mocks Data's desire to be human due to his own prejudices against what he deems to be a vastly inferior species.
And I do think it's even more important that it was Data. For Q to feel anything other than apathy towards a potential loss of life would have been enough, but for him to feel ashamed to the point of almost killing himself over an artificial life?
idk I just feel like Q in any previous episode would have been like "oh he's just a robot, put him back together 🙄" and I think it's wack that Picard's reaction to Q caring about someone else's life for the first time ever was "girl idc cry about it to someone else"

Who better than the cast of #StarTrek to greet Enterprise, the first space shuttle orbiter, when it rolled out of the Palmdale facility #OTD in 1976? It *was* named after the starship from the award-winning tv-show, after all.

Crash Into You - Katrina Cornwell/Mirror Philippa Georgiou
A/N: Day 3 Part 2 for @startrekfemslashweek
Both Katrina Cornwell, seemingly lost in a crash landing and Philippa Georgiou, who had tracked her down, barely avoiding her own shuttle crash, know this is a risk. The air above them clouds with storms and Philippa barely has time to drag Kat inside before the hail starts, Kat’s shudder rewarded with Philippa’s soft sigh, a feeling of soft fingers against her hip making her turn.
“What are you…”
Her protest is cut off by Philippa’s kiss. Oh, it’s not her Philippa, hasn’t been since the worlds collided, but it’s close enough to true that she sinks into the kiss anyway, barely hiding her moan when Philippa backs her into the wall, her fingers digging into Philippa’s back, her breath catching a little as Philippa adjusts to bite and kiss her way down her neck.
“Maybe I should crash land more often…”

My favorite character of the whole series. I was very disappointed that they never did a story where the crew encounters a planet populated by canine-like aliens, and Porthos is the only one they can communicate with.
