Happy Truce and Happy New Year @auroraphantasma I'm your gifter for the Truce this year. XD

I liked the idea of found family and Danny having role models he can look up to and learn from so I went with the first prompt:

Lost time (mentor/parental Clockwork + Danny), (all my prompts are kinda found family themed bc i love this scrunkly teen ghost getting adopted by increasingly weirder/more powerful beings); i love them interacting, hanging out and joking doing pranks.

Couldn't decide how to illustrate this relationship either so it turned into three moments when Danny appreciates having the master of time around. (Being saved in the nick of time) (Getting help with his history homework) (Finding that Clockwork has taken his time to ensure Danny gets a good night's sleep.)

Now onward to a new year. ^^

Coyote vs Acme - looking to be shut down and getting a tax write-off, despite being a James Gunn movie (like him or hate him, his name is big in Hollywood) with amazing reviews from test audiences

Now, it's Rooster Teeth - shut down after over 20 years, with many like Casey Lee Williams (the woman in charge of the RWBY soundtrack) finding out the news via Twitter

I think it's safe to say that David Zaslav doesn't appreciate the art of animation.

Space AU Holiday truce gift

Happy holiday @bibliophilea.

Your promps were inspiering. I wanted to do all of them but settled on this one. I wanted to write but couldn’t think of anything si I turned to art. I was not going to do a comic, just a drawing of the gang. I drew the frames for the picture and then I was doing a comic strip. So here it is.

I’m a day late but HAPPY 55th ANNIVERSARY TO THE HAUNTED MANSION!! It’s crazy to think it’s been already 5 years since the 50th 😭😭. In any case, I figured now was a good time as any to show my love for the ride with a newly updated sona/OC. This is Mariana! (Definitely named after a certain song I love). She is a paranormal investigator who becomes a maid for the mansion in order to break a curse placed upon her when she desecrated some graves in the name of science. She has been an absolute joy to work on and reminds me of why I love the Haunted Mansion and the openness of the lore. It’s been very therapeutic to come back to an interest that I loved and was so formative to me as a kid and teenager. I hope to make more stuff with her soon! Also, look alive! There might be a proper tribute to the mansion coming later in the month! 👀👀👀

The Haunting of the Hilltop Mall

The Haunting of the Hilltop Mall by Speary @spearywritesstuff Rating: Mature Word Count: 37k

The Hilltop Mall loomed large over the town below, with garish columns festooned with Christmas garland in late October, and of course it was maybe, kind of haunted. After hours access to the mall could be had by those that owned businesses inside. So Dean, Sam, and Cas do what any rational hunters would do in this case; they pretend to be the owners of a massage studio located within the mall. There are benefits beyond the access to the mall. Cas is quite good with his hands, as Dean eventually notes. Turns out that they are all good at the job, and that means that they actually make a bit of money. Apparently not enough to justify getting a room with enough quality beds though. Guess someone might need to share. And with all of them crammed into a too small motel room, and Cas having seemingly no problems with nudity, Dean thinks he might not entirely survive this case.

This is a fun little case fic. The guys go undercover at a mall as massage therapists so they can investigate a potential haunting after hours. There's a lot of horny awkwardness. Dean and Cas are pining for each other and just can't get it together. But proximity and sharing a bed do some work to help them get there.

The case is a fun one with a fairly memorable conclusion. Its a bit twisty and I think it really pulls on the lore of the show in an interesting way, while also bringing in some new mythology.

Another notable thing is the way the family dynamics get pulled in. I particularly love the use of Claire in this fic and the resolution there.

It's a great blend of angst, pining and humor with the softest of landings.
