One of my fav things about star wars is that's its so fucking huge that u physically cannot know all of it so u just kinda like pick a section amd become obsessed. Like me with the Chiss. Like i have seen only one other fandom come even close to this amd that's Marvel. I have no idea y. And we all still bond over the skywalker saga (not the ones that shan't be spoken). And its like we all know a bit of each other sections. Like clone fans know a bit about ahsoka. Ahsoka fans know a bit about the Rebels fans. Rebels fans know about Thrawn. Thrawn fans know some deep shit about Padmes handmaiden and wild space yokels. And it pretty much goes on forever and i find that very cool.

. ✦ ݁ ˖ @5mind a glimpse of the future !!!
[🧪] Oh no. No, no, no, no.
Something sunk heavy in Doc’s gut, twisted and tangled. It was hard to breathe and yet his lungs wheezed anyway through a tightened throat.
This shouldn’t have happened. This wasn’t how the mission should have went down— not like this, not with him at the helm.
Not with all of them at risk.
He froze at his name; called out by the voice of a stranger. That was Red’s blade, wasn’t it? Yellow’s wheels. A wave of nausea swelled at the sight of that familiar beautiful blue, that pretty pink and a gorgeous green.
It wore their corpses like a badge of honor.
“The … the coordinates— they were supposed to come back,” he could barely mutter it out. His head spun. His fingers twitched for his blaster.
“What did you do to them?” His voice steeled (it still trembled). He stood his ground (it still wavered).

Gaming PSA: EA hates you
Strongly recommend that you not pay money for any first-party purchase of any EA-developed title. I don't think we need to start boycotting games made by other companies and just published by EA yet, especially since the amount of said games will drastically decrease if they actually start trying this shit. Smaller studios can't afford this kind of PR.

If I had to make a poll surveying for the best shoot 'em up game for the N64 it would probably have only one or two games: Star Soldier: Vanishing Earth and, if you remember it, the Space Invaders '99 3D version. So to keep things more interesting I decided to extend the semantic scope of this genre in order to include also other titles with similar shooting mechanics. I will name them "near enough shoot' em ups". It will include titles as on-rail shooters like Star Fox 64 and Sin and Punishment as well as the Japanese exclusive shmup editor app Dezaemon 3D. The concept of "near enough shoot 'em up" also needs to be big enough to include 3D exploration action games with shooting mechanics like the two Star Wars series titles: Rogue Squadron and Episode I: Battle for Naboo. Aero Fighters Assault, I kwow it is a bad game, but I decided to put it here because many folks may have some nostalgia for it. I will not consider bad games like Knife's Edge and Asteroids Hyper 64 here because they'd better fit in a poll about the crapiest game on the system. Cult classic Bangai-O of course marks its presence here despite being a 2D multi directional shooter game. So what did you think of the expanded meaning concept for shoot 'em up? Did I get too far? And by the way what's the best N64 near enough shoot 'em up game?
