The conflict between Israel and Palestine is defined by an overwhelming technological and military disparity. Israel, equipped with cutting-edge weapons, including AI-guided missiles and advanced defense systems, confronts a Palestinian resistance limited to makeshift weapons and relics salvaged from past wars (from the sea). This imbalance leaves Palestinians with no real chance of defense or safety. Cities like Gaza lie in ruins, and civilians, with no refuge, are trapped in a relentless cycle of destruction.

If God were to observe His children indifferent to consciously processing the unjust slaughter of innocent lives, they would understand that every genocide births a diabolical mind capable of even greater devastation. Death is its fuel, and the silence of Christians is the pleasure that drives it.

The memories stored in a song can be so powerful. I used to listen to this song every morning at @mfbrehab while my AMAZING Occupational Therapists would spend 90+ minutes helping teach my arms and leg how to do everything again; get out of bed, shower, brush my teeth, use the bathroom, EVERYTHING. So often in addiction and/or depression, hopelessness can begin to set in, our behaviors turn more reckless, and those who care about us can begin to grow tired or fed up. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t lose or significantly change any of the relationships in my life. When I take inventory of my life and look at everything I’ve went through, I’m amazed at how many people have not only stuck with me through this journey, but never wavered in their support and love. How can I help? How can I contribute to moving the collective towards change? How can I serve our race, the human race, in a way that’s colorless, genderless, fluid & birthed from a place of love? . From the perspective of a white female riddled with privilege, I’ll be honest, I’m losing hope. . I will speak up. . Tell you that as a young girl I was so confused by race and color because the beauty of the eyes of a child “We all breathe, and laugh, and have heartbeats just the same.” Befuddled how an external detail could dictate the way that human being would later be mistreated, judged by society, and minimal efforts would be taken towards justice. . Growing older through experiences with racism, sometimes in my own home, in my communities at work, it’s commonplace nature among other white people. . I didn’t speak up. I let those awful things be said. The jokes were made. Each with a pang of hurt & deep knowing “this is not right” conflicted with the woman in the workplace role I had submissively slipped into and chose to “mind my business”, instead. Gross. Embarrassed. My past self didn’t know then what I know now. . THIS IS ALL OF OUR BUSINESS. . Fight. Stand up. Speak up. However best serves your deepest inner knowing. Attend the protest. Act peacefully. Lead by example for friends, neighbors, spouses, and our YOUTH. Our FUTURE. Show them silence is a major part of the problem. .
