villain hanta who saw hero society as it is and became the number one most wanted. hanta who was your best friend at school, someone who you reluctantly studied with before exams when you'd rather be watching films together. someone who you'd prop your legs up against his dorm wall together and tilt your head back, hanging off the bed until the blood rushes to your head and you get dizzy. someone who you would play video games with until two in the morning and laugh with until you cry. someone whose shoulder you'd fall asleep on. someone who would wrap his arms around you and hug you until you drifted off back to sleep when you woke up from another nightmare about the league. someone who you loved.

now you see news articles and coworkers talk about the hero turned villain. someone who'd tape up heroes, cutting off their blood circulation, finding out ways to prolong their imminent death and learning how to use guns.

the day hanta became a villain was the day you broke down. you always considered yourself strong but after hanta you stopped hero work for two whole years, you couldn't bring yourself to do work. you couldn't bring yourself to even get out of bed and leave the house. showering was difficult and the only reason you ended up eating proper meals during that time was thanks to katsuki.

there wasn't a day that hanta didn't think about and there wasn't a week where he didn't watch you. during those two years it was more difficult for him to do so, you even kept your curtains closed most of the time but luckily for him you're a deep sleeper so he'd visit you when you'd be in bed. annoyingly those times would be at four in the morning when you'd finally be able to slip away into unconsciousness but he'd wait until then, anything for you. even if his hand itched to lift up your night shirt and trace your stretch marks and faded scars from hero work, even if he wanted to kiss your forehead and run his hands all over your soft body, he wouldn't. he wouldn't touch you or even hold your hand, just watch as snored and cuddle up to a teddy bear that he brought you years ago.

hanta will take you away from all this one day, keep you safe and away from harm. after he left he learnt new things, thing's that he knows will impress you. your favourite characters in comic books always carried guns so he does. he's learnt to cook your favourite meals even though he isn't the best cook. he's made a collection of manga specifically catered to you from when you see each other again. a list of films he wants to watch with you.

he loves you dearly and he used to be insecure with his love, he regrets never confessing to you because he always thought you only saw him as your best friend but maybe leaving you was a blessing in disguise because your reaction to him going away was anything but platonic. none of his old friends handled it well but it was a whole different story with you, a hole was left over in your heart. he realised then that you felt the same way about him, when you still grip fiercely on to that teddy bear at night.

he won't let you go again.

Anyway, everyone give thanks to the Lamb for interrupting what was sure to be a very boring and patronizing PSA from their grouchy cat hubby. Truly, they are doing God's work. Granted, the Lamb canonically is God now, so, uh. Mostly they're just doing their own work.

Speaking of their grouchy cat hubby, yes this is absolutely still Narilamb, Narinder is 100% into his goofy-ass spouse always no matter what and we all know it, he just wasn't expecting his brand new adopted kid to share the same single goofy-ass brain cell as the Lamb. :)

Prompt 203

Another Hydra prompt! Because I am enjoying the designs I’ve made lol. And perhaps it’s a bit inspired by @radiance1 ‘s different dragon prompts too. 

So they’ve succeeded! They’ve managed to combine their powers- with a bit of shapeshifting helped along by so many ghost allies- and become a giant duck-you dragon! Well, originally they were going to do something else, but they couldn’t agree on an animal, so dragon it was! 

And how mighty they are! They’re giant, absolutely massive- dwarfing the couple of skyscrapers still in Amity. Damages via ghost attacks and general sparring made it where people really didn’t want to rebuild those types of buildings. 

But anyway, dragon! Them! They’re absolutely stunning! And did they mention powerful? Because boy oh boy, are they powerful. The GIW’s guns do practically nothing against their combined might, and barriers shatter before them! 

The uh, issue is that they erm… can’t turn back. Which is fine, they’ve all sort of outlived most of their generation- thank you possessions and ecto-contamination, it’s just a tiny bit of an adjustment. But really it’s not too bad, and someone needs to stop the GIW from trying to poke their heads into Amity. Like it’s been a solid couple of generations, it’s time to stop, thanks. 

Actually they’ve been a bit quiet. Meh, that surely isn’t a problem. Probably. Honestly they’re all going to use the opportunity to sprawl out where the school yard once was, their favorite place to sun their scales. Huh. Usually more people are around now that they think about it- or really, as Paulina points out, sharpening her fangs on one of the rocks.

How long had they been sleeping, because it couldn’t have been that long. One of them was always awake, they slept in shifts after all! Yet there are things missing now as they patrol the skies, both Wes and Tucker pointing out specific buildings that the others didn’t particularly notice usually that now lay empty. 

Hm. 

Oh. That is a… strong barrier there. A really strong barrier actually. Pfft, they can take it! They’ve shredded every barrier together before- Ow.

the company i work for decided that its switching from the german formal "You"(Sie) to the informal "you" (Du) in all of our websites so now we have to scour the entire database to change it and i quite frankly hate that, not just bc the unecessary extra work but especially bc its such a weird and unecessary change

i bet its bc everything here is getting englishfied (both literally and culturally it feels like, when my new boss talks its half in english bc every second german word is just replaced by an english one despite there being perfectly fine words for it in german too, its so annoying) and bc they want to sound more personal in hopes of getting more clients bc 'company is your fwiend uwu!!', i know this here is the amercian tm site so you wouldnt understand really but i do not want to be greeted with 'du' by companies, no, thats too personal, you dont know me and im not giving you my data, stay away!!

i guess thats how i would describe it .. the formal you is like a polite distance, like someone you dont know staying outside your personal space, but when its the informal 'you' it feels invasive unless i told you you can call me that, and that goes double for companies

maybe its a small thing that doesnt seem important but i cant stand it, im just a little part time worker doing data work so i got no say in it but the companies founder also announced hes giving his post to his kids some time ago so ...... since then theres been alot of changes and new projects that solely aim to imitate whats popular and whats done by other companies, despite ours being one that is, or used to be, intentionally different, like, that was the POINT, but i guess chasing trends is just too appealing for CEOs
