at the end of the day when it comes to padmé i think it’s really important to remember that her closest friends are literally her employees. her only other friends are her coworkers. her closest friend for years was a girl she met at 14 whose job it was to pretend to be her and potentially die about it. another friend with the same job died in her arms while pretending to be her. she does not have friends outside of her squad of employees who pretend to be her and sometimes die about it and then her politician coworkers. too many of you are way too surprised that this woman is not normal about love or relationships or her own self considering all this

Fox (carrying on): when asked to clarify how that would work, Stonk had this to say: Our spending is out of control and we must come up with imaginative solutions. Many of the planets they are sent to have an abundance of flora and fauna. We should have them use the resources available. If they can destroy droids surely they should be able to find food sources.

Cody (blue screen of death face audible even in an audio format): wh..........

Fox: in response to the bill, Master of the Jedi Order Mace Windu had this to say: No.

He then gestured in tired exasperation to Clone Commander CC-411 who explained in great detail the pitfalls of having to feed an army of millions with this method. Windu's initial response has become a reaction 'gram on the holonet that has been shared three billion times and has sparked numerous mocking posts towards the proposed bill on SX (The stream formerly known as space twitter). I'll put the 'gram in the show notes.

Many of the bill's initial supporters loudly insisted they were never going to vote it through if it came up in session. Senator Stonk's press secretary claims that this is all a joke taken out of context and the Senator had no intention to actually propose such a bill.

Wolffe: that's too bad. I like the idea of hunting.

Cody: yes, but to feed your entire battalion?

Wolffe: oh no, I meant the senators. I would hunt them.

"Kill your darlings" except it's just me making the Jedi be extremely petty to the characters I hate in the first draft of my fics, but then removing the pettiness when I go back and edit because the Jedi are better people than that and, even though I'd find it satisfying, they deserve to be portrayed as they are.

Which is also why I'm making non-Jedi OCs, so they can be petty in the Jedi's place.

q 1. thank you for reminding me that "design some fix-it au outfits" has been on my to draw list for like 3 months and 2. just like. every outfit in star wars ever. she's absolutely trying various naboo fashions first (she wants to match) and then various other fancy Coruscanti fashions loll -- and in her defence, neither her nor Anakin knows what casual fashion he likes beforehand! so its not selfish to try get him matching her! ...except he pretty quickly realises that yeahhhh i think im just gonna get some normal tshirts and jackets this isn't my style
